“Let the young master go if you don’t want to die at this moment,”
That deep cold voice delivered weakness in her spine. A black car was already parked in front of them where those men in black came. They surrounded Hazel and the little kid. They all have guns which look like real ones.
“Hand the young master over,” The man ordered.
Hazel gulped. The words from her mouth disappeared. A while ago, she already wanted to die, but after feeling that gun pointed at her head, she realized that she still wanted to live and be happy.
“Uwaaahh!!”
The loud cry of the child made everyone flinch. The serious atmosphere lifted up and this gave Hazel a chance to talk.
“E-Excuse me, sir. “ She gulped. “I don’t know anything. This c-child r-r-ran onto me and c-ry,” She said, defending herself.
The tall man holding the gun pointed at her head looked at her with contempt. “Who are you kidding?” He asked. “You got the wrong person to kidnap.”
“Kidnap?!” Hazel’s eyes widened, forgetting the gun pointed at her. “I did not kidnap anyone!” She exclaimed with her forehead wrinkled. “I will never do that!”
Hazel knew that she needed money that much, but kidnapping or taking someone’s kid will never be a choice for her to have money. She grew up in an orphanage and having kids around her became her peace.
She will never do such a thing. Besides, the child looked frightened too as it continued to clung onto her shoulders. Maybe they are the real kidnappers. They have a gun. It’s always the one with guns in the movies she used to watch.
“You will never trick me!” She exclaimed, looking at them and thinking they are dumb enough to threaten and point a gun at her under the broad daylight. There are a lot of people in this place who can help her if she screams for help.
The child can also stand by her side as a witness. She hugged the child tight. “Don’t you ever touch this child or I’m going to call the police!” She exclaimed.
The child suddenly pushed her away and dashed towards the man with a gun. He raised his small palm and smacked him.
“You are bad! Don’t hurt mama!” He yelled. “Stop! Stop!” He said it while stomping his little feet. “Don’t hurt mama! You are bad! Bad!”
The men looked at each other and the atmosphere suddenly turned gloomy as soon as another car stopped in front of them.
The driver stepped out and immediately opened the door. A tall man wearing a long black coat stepped out of the car. He has arched dark eyebrows and brown eyes. Broad shoulders and upright posture with a muscular build. One look and Hazel already guessed that he is an Alpha from a higher class.
All of the men bowed their heads, shaking.
“Who told you to use your gun in front of my son?”
His low resonant voice delivered chills to Hazel. Even though he is not talking to her, she can feel how intimidating he was.
The man withdrew the gun from Hazel’s forehead and bowed down. “I’m sorry boss!” He exclaimed with his shaking voice. The gun was quickly put inside his pocket.
Hazel wanted to laugh. Hearing and seeing that man cowering in fear made her lips curved up.
The man who just got out of the car, looked Hazel in the eyes. His gazes were sharp and bland. After looking at the lady, his eyes softened a little as he turned to the child.
“Theo,” he called out. “Come here. We need to go home.” He said.
To their surprise, the child named Theo rushed back to Hazel.
“NO!” He insisted. “I hate Papa! I want Mama!” He exclaimed, making a stubborn face.
The man whom he is calling Papa, sighed. He fell silent for a second before talking again.
“Theo, she is not your Mom. Come here and let’s go.” He said.
That didn’t not even flinch Theo. He stubbornly wrapped his arms around Hazel’s shoulders.
“I WANT MAMA!” He blurted out. “I want Mama!”
Theo’s voice was so loud that it rang through Hazel’s ears. She has no right to intervene since she didn’t even know this child and his father. She suddenly wondered why this child has a father like him.
The handsome man looks young and having a child like this is a surprise for him. Hazel gazed at the man intently while playing some thoughts inside her mind.
“Is this child an illegitimate child? An accident child? Where is the mother? Is it his child from an omega host that runs away after knowing how bad he is?” She thought.
She stared intently at him until she met his gaze that was also looking at her. Hazel gulped and quickly avoided his sharp eyes.
She gently touched Theo on both shoulders and talked to him.
“Theo, you should go home. I’m sorry but I’m not your mommy. You are mistaking me for someone.”
Theo sniffled quietly, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. It looks like convincing him with words will not work.
“Mama, do you hate me?” He asked, his voice holding back the shaking voice.
“It’s not like that.” Hazel replied. “I like you, of course. You are a good kid, but you need to listen to your Papa and go home.” She said, smiling at him.
“But I want Mama to go home with me.” Theo sniffled, wiping the tears finally rolling down on his chubby cheeks.
While Hazel was trying to comfort Theo, one of the men in black spoke to their boss.
“What are we going to do, boss? It seems like the young master didn’t want to let her go.” He said.
Theo’s father took out a black expensive cigarette from his pocket. One of his men lit it up. As he puffed a smoke followed by a sigh, his expression changed.
“I guess we have no choice,” he said, looking at Hazel.
Hearing this, Hazel felt uneasy. His body unconsciously moves backwards along with Theo.
“Are they going to kill me because I can’t convince the child to go with them?”
“It’s not my fault that this child calls me mama. I don’t even know him.”
“Don’t tell me, they are going to shoot me in the head in front of the child?!”
“I don’t want to die.”
These thoughts piled up inside her thoughts. Hazel closed her eyes, prepared for what fate awaits her when Theo’s father spoke.
“Bring her with Theo.” He ordered.
Two men held both of her arms. Theo followed them immediately when he heard it.
“Please don’t take me! I didn’t know this child!” She yelled.
Anxiousness crawled all over her body. Hazel covered her cheeks to hide her face. After throwing her inside that luxurious car, they left her in an empty room with only one chair and table. Like those scenes from the movies where the police investigate the criminal to admit their crimes.Different scenarios already came to her mind. Are they going to tie her upside down? Put her head in a bucket of cold water? Worse if they cut her fingers one by one.Hazel knew that she was innocent. She did nothing wrong. Theo randomly ran onto her and called her “Mama”. She didn’t know a single thing about motherhood. Even though it was hard and she was embarrassed, she is willing to admit that she never had any relationships or past lovers. After she got thrown out from the orphanage, she worked and worked for her life. All that came into her life was money. She wanted to finish school and find a better job. She wanted to let this society know that an Omega like her can also go along with a luxur
The sun shone through the glass window, reflecting a new day and hope. The lady sleeping on the bed started to move. She slowly moved her arms up on her head when suddenly a heavy feeling on her right shoulders numbed her hand.Rubbing her eyes, Hazel looked and was surprised to see a small child sleeping next to her. She almost forgot that today was the first day of her job as a Mama. She still couldn’t believe what had gotten into her to accept that job quickly.“Is this how broke and hopeless people think?” She asked herself in her mind. She flatten her body and let Theo enjoy her arms under the blanket. She never thought that the feeling of having kids next to you will make her problems disappear. Hazel suddenly remembered the days when she was at the orphanage. She thought that her life would evolve in that place until she turned 18 and was thrown away.Even though she had no idea why they did that to her, she was lucky to experience things she never experienced inside that orph
Axel stood up after taking a last sip from his coffee. He checked his wristwatch and fixed his necktie. He called one of his men and told them to get the car ready.“Papa, are you going to work now?” Theo asked, looking up to his father. The Alpha paused and nodded. “Yes, I have a lot of things to do in the company. You will stay here with Mama.” He glanced at Hazel then back to his son.Theo pouted. “But Mama will be lonely if Papa is busy.” He said in a small voice.Seeing how hopeless the child was, Hazel cleared her throat. “Theo, I’m not lonely. I’m happy because I will be here with you.” She said,Theo quickly smiled. “Really, Mama?” he asked. The lady nodded. She didn’t want to be alone with Axel today. She already showed a lot of embarrassing things to the Alpha. At least she wanted to give herself a preparation and a full relaxation about the new place. She wanted to roam the house and talk with the maids and Henry. She’s not familiar with this place so she needed time.“Excu
From the stairs, Henry saw the two walking down. A confused expression immediately changed his face. “What's the problem, Miss Hazel?” Henry asked following them. “Oh, Theo said he wanted some cookies.” Hazel said all the way to the kitchen. She pulled the baby chair with the help of Henry. “The young master’s class is not finished yet, Miss Hazel. He is not allowed to do something not related to his class,” Henry said. A silence while Hazel is busy. She noticed that the maids were nowhere to be seen and the kitchen was quiet. “Where are the maids?” She asked. Henry shook his head. “They already left, Miss. They are on call maids.” He explained. “It's okay,” Hazel went to the refrigerator and scanned the food inside it. While she was busy getting what she needed, the butler walked next to her and cleared his throat, making the lady recall what he just said earlier. “It's fine, Sir Henry. Theo said he is hungry. Mr Axel–” Henry immediately cut her off and whispered to call t
Evening comes, Hazel and Theo are still in the bedroom. They are both laying down on bed while the lady is busy reading a story book to the little boy. Theo snuggled under the blanket with his head out looking up at Hazel.“Mama, do you love Papa like the princess in the story?” He innocently asked.Hazel paused for a second. She didn’t know what she was going to answer. Kids are curious and she did not want to ruin her reputation or Axel. The princess in the story sacrificed her royalty just to be with the poor prince. With this thought, Hazel’s eyebrows knitted. It’s supposed to be Axel who looks like the princess’ character. While she is like the prince, poor and ugly. “Are you not hungry?” She asked, slowly closing the book while changing the topic. “We already read a lot of stories, Mama is a little tired.” she added.Theo crawled out from the blanket and gave her a tight hug. After that, a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you, Mama.” He whispered.Hazel melted from his cuteness and ti
The next morning, Hazel woke up early. Today she is going to her old school to get some of her documents. She is transferring to a new university, ordered by Axel. The alpha said that he will pay for her studies as well. She took her towel and went straight to the bathroom. She was humming a happy sound as she put up her hair in a bun. Her oval face showed up, giving details to her pointed small nose and cupid bow lips.“I look ugly” she pouted, playing with her curly brown hair before stepping into the bathtub. She leaned and relaxed for a while. Hazel couldn’t help but smile when she was thinking that she would not study in the university she wanted. She asked Axel if she can get onlines classes but the Alpha said that he prefers her to go to the school ground herself rather than studying at home. All of this feels like a dream to her. At first, she was very intimidated by Axel’s dark and serious aura, but then as weeks passed by, she realized that the man has a soft spot. She could
At the Coffee ShopThe aroma coming from the counter immediately tickled their nose. The strong flavor of the coffee welcomed them. The noisy atmosphere gave them the reality of the busy people walking in and out from the shop. The line in the counter is not that long, giving them a chance to step in quickly. This is the nearest coffee shop from the university and this place also serves as their relaxing spot if they want to release some stress from studying. Now that Hazel is going to leave this university, she started to reminisce about the first time going here. She thought at first that this shop is expensive because it looks classy. Adeline was the one who asked her to come and sit with her inside this coffee shop. Her friend has also treated her a couple of times already. They both have the same taste they like when it comes to coffee. This is why they became this close, treating and caring for each other like sisters. For Hazel, she is lucky enough to have Adeline as her trust
The noise coming from the inside already reached her ears. She can tell that this place is already crowded. Since she is saying goodbye and this is her last day to bond with Adeline, Hazel agreed to come with her friend.Adeline told her that there is a small gathering party arranged by their school clubs. It was a walking distance from the university. Since Hazel trusts herself and her alcohol tolerance, she did not hesitate to join them. Besides, she got busy focusing on Theo these weeks marking her completed first month of work. This is her time to unwind herself a little and to shake off her problems. She got tired from walking from one professor to another professor earlier. The university is big too, so walking back and forth up and down the buildings exhausted her.Adeline held her hand and accompanied her to a table with eight students, who looked familiar to her. “We are here!” Adeline announced their entrance, making her voice louder than the music playing in the backgroun

The night air was cool and crisp, carrying with it the whispers of a day well-spent, of memories created, and of a bond strengthened by shared laughter and joy. They're so beautiful," Theo whispered, his voice filled with a sense of reverence for the beauty of the night sky. Axel followed Theo's gaze, a smile playing on his lips as he took in the celestial display above. "They are indeed, Theo. Each star is like a little spark of magic in the sky, just like the magic we shared today at the theme park," Axel replied, his voice gentle and filled with tenderness. In that moment, father and son stood beneath the vast expanse of the night
Three-year-old Theo tugged at his daddy Axel's hand, his eyes bright with excitement and a wide grin stretching across his face. "Daddy, can we go to the theme park today?" Theo's voice was filled with eager anticipation, his words bubbling with the enthusiasm only a child could possess. Axel looked down at his son, his heart swelling with love at the sight of the joy dancing in Theo's eyes. The request caught him by surprise, but the pure happiness radiating from Theo was infectious, and Axel couldn't resist the urge to make his son's wish come true. "Well, Theo, a theme park adventure sounds like a fantastic idea!" Axel replied, his voice filled with warmth and affection. The thought of spending a day in the whimsical world of rides, games, and laughter with his son filled him with a sense of delight and anticipation. Theo's face lit up like a beacon, his excitement palpable as he bounced on the balls of his feet. "Yay, daddy! I want to ride the carousel and the roller coaster
