Axel stood up after taking a last sip from his coffee. He checked his wristwatch and fixed his necktie. He called one of his men and told them to get the car ready.
“Papa, are you going to work now?” Theo asked, looking up to his father.
The Alpha paused and nodded. “Yes, I have a lot of things to do in the company. You will stay here with Mama.” He glanced at Hazel then back to his son.
Theo pouted. “But Mama will be lonely if Papa is busy.” He said in a small voice.
Seeing how hopeless the child was, Hazel cleared her throat. “Theo, I’m not lonely. I’m happy because I will be here with you.” She said,
Theo quickly smiled. “Really, Mama?” he asked.
The lady nodded. She didn’t want to be alone with Axel today. She already showed a lot of embarrassing things to the Alpha. At least she wanted to give herself a preparation and a full relaxation about the new place. She wanted to roam the house and talk with the maids and Henry.
She’s not familiar with this place so she needed time.
“Excuse me, boss.”
One of the men interrupted them and whispered something to Axel. The car is ready and he needed to go now.
“I will go now,” Axel leaned down and gave his son a goodbye kiss on the forehead.
He was about to walk away when Theo called him back.
“Papa, you’re not gonna give Mama a bye bye kiss?” He asked with his arms crossed.
Hazel immediately froze. She looked at Axel and then to Theo who seemed to be waiting and then back to the Alpha again.
However, before she could make a move, Axel’s arms already pulled her waist which made her irked. She was bent down a little and as soon as their faces became so close, nervousness struck her. She felt like she was about to go dizzy into the imaginary roller coaster in her mind.
She wasn’t prepared for this!
Hazel never in her life kissed anyone. Kissing anyone was not in her mind either. She closed her eyes tight.
“Fix your expression. We are in front of Theo.”
Axel’s low monotonous voice made her eyes open. A quick damp of the Alpha’s lips touched her nose. Her lips remained virgin and untouched.
The moment she blinked, Axel was already out of sight.
Theo jumped down from the chair after drinking his milk and then pulled Hazel’s shirt calling her to play, but then from the kitchen Henry walked in.
“Apologies, Young Master. Today is your first day of tutoring. Your teacher will arrive soon so please get ready.” Henry said.
Hazel took Theo to his room and changed his clothes. Then they waited for Henry to call them for the class.
When they got out of the room, Henry was already talking to a man who looked like a teacher with a children's book in his hands. He waved his hand when he glanced at the two.
“Miss Hazel, this is Sir Mike. He is the young master’s teacher.” Henry introduced him.
Hazel nodded her head and greeted Mike back. Henry explained the details of how Mike will teach Theo. Hazel wasn’t allowed inside the room but the child insisted so they both ended up taking a children’s class.
“Okay, young master. Now we are going to draw. Please draw anyone that comes to your mind.” Mike said with a sweet smile on his face.
Theo took the crayons and papers excitedly. He sat next to Hazel and gave her too.
“Mama, let’s draw,” he said while giggling.
Hazel was again struck by the child’s cuteness. She had no choice but to follow the child and get along with him. Silence filled their atmosphere.
After a few minutes, Mike approached them. He leaned closer and smiled as soon as he saw the drawing.
“What are you drawing, young master?” He asked.
Theo stopped and let the man see his drawings. “I am drawing Papa, Mama and Theo.” He replied.
Hazel didn’t want to look awkward so she smiled at Mike. Her sweet smile caught the man’s attention, making it intrigued about her.
Mike leaned closer to the lady and whispered. “Are you his new nanny?” He asked.
Hazel backed away a little. She got tickled by the sudden whisper to her. After that, she nodded. She focused on Theo who was still busy drawing and finishing his masterpiece when Mike asked again.
“How long have you been working here, Miss Hazel?” He asked.
The lady looked at him and replied. “I just started.”
Hazel wondered why Mike had a lot of questions. He seemed friendly and easy to get along with. Well, maybe because teachers are usually talkative especially if they are teaching kids.
She also didn’t want to leave a bad appearance to the man.
“Mama, look!” Theo raised the paper close to Hazel’s face. “I draw Mama with a pink dress!” He happily exclaimed.
That cuteness once again struck Hazel’s heart. She patted Theo on the head. “Mama is happy. Thank you, Theo.” She said.
But then after smiling so big, Theo put down the crayons and papers and then showed a sad face.
“Why is the young master sad?” Mike asked.
Theo crawled towards Hazel’s lap and hugged her. “Mama, I don’t want to study anymore. Theo wants to play.” He murmured.
“But Theo, it’s still your class time,” Mike insisted.
The child didn’t answer him and stayed with Hazel. It looked like he already got bored from drawing. Since he was still a child, the lady couldn’t refute.
“How about we go downstairs and eat some cookies?” Hazel suggested.
This made Theo jump up. “Yes, Mama! I want cookies,” he said while clapping his hands.
Mike was about to say something again but Hazel already picked Theo around her arms. The kid wasn’t that heavy after all.
“It’s okay, Teacher Mike. I will handle him.” Hazel said before walking out of the room.
From the stairs, Henry saw the two walking down. A confused expression immediately changed his face. “What's the problem, Miss Hazel?” Henry asked following them. “Oh, Theo said he wanted some cookies.” Hazel said all the way to the kitchen. She pulled the baby chair with the help of Henry. “The young master’s class is not finished yet, Miss Hazel. He is not allowed to do something not related to his class,” Henry said. A silence while Hazel is busy. She noticed that the maids were nowhere to be seen and the kitchen was quiet. “Where are the maids?” She asked. Henry shook his head. “They already left, Miss. They are on call maids.” He explained. “It's okay,” Hazel went to the refrigerator and scanned the food inside it. While she was busy getting what she needed, the butler walked next to her and cleared his throat, making the lady recall what he just said earlier. “It's fine, Sir Henry. Theo said he is hungry. Mr Axel–” Henry immediately cut her off and whispered to call t
Evening comes, Hazel and Theo are still in the bedroom. They are both laying down on bed while the lady is busy reading a story book to the little boy. Theo snuggled under the blanket with his head out looking up at Hazel.“Mama, do you love Papa like the princess in the story?” He innocently asked.Hazel paused for a second. She didn’t know what she was going to answer. Kids are curious and she did not want to ruin her reputation or Axel. The princess in the story sacrificed her royalty just to be with the poor prince. With this thought, Hazel’s eyebrows knitted. It’s supposed to be Axel who looks like the princess’ character. While she is like the prince, poor and ugly. “Are you not hungry?” She asked, slowly closing the book while changing the topic. “We already read a lot of stories, Mama is a little tired.” she added.Theo crawled out from the blanket and gave her a tight hug. After that, a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you, Mama.” He whispered.Hazel melted from his cuteness and ti
The next morning, Hazel woke up early. Today she is going to her old school to get some of her documents. She is transferring to a new university, ordered by Axel. The alpha said that he will pay for her studies as well. She took her towel and went straight to the bathroom. She was humming a happy sound as she put up her hair in a bun. Her oval face showed up, giving details to her pointed small nose and cupid bow lips.“I look ugly” she pouted, playing with her curly brown hair before stepping into the bathtub. She leaned and relaxed for a while. Hazel couldn’t help but smile when she was thinking that she would not study in the university she wanted. She asked Axel if she can get onlines classes but the Alpha said that he prefers her to go to the school ground herself rather than studying at home. All of this feels like a dream to her. At first, she was very intimidated by Axel’s dark and serious aura, but then as weeks passed by, she realized that the man has a soft spot. She could
At the Coffee ShopThe aroma coming from the counter immediately tickled their nose. The strong flavor of the coffee welcomed them. The noisy atmosphere gave them the reality of the busy people walking in and out from the shop. The line in the counter is not that long, giving them a chance to step in quickly. This is the nearest coffee shop from the university and this place also serves as their relaxing spot if they want to release some stress from studying. Now that Hazel is going to leave this university, she started to reminisce about the first time going here. She thought at first that this shop is expensive because it looks classy. Adeline was the one who asked her to come and sit with her inside this coffee shop. Her friend has also treated her a couple of times already. They both have the same taste they like when it comes to coffee. This is why they became this close, treating and caring for each other like sisters. For Hazel, she is lucky enough to have Adeline as her trust
The noise coming from the inside already reached her ears. She can tell that this place is already crowded. Since she is saying goodbye and this is her last day to bond with Adeline, Hazel agreed to come with her friend.Adeline told her that there is a small gathering party arranged by their school clubs. It was a walking distance from the university. Since Hazel trusts herself and her alcohol tolerance, she did not hesitate to join them. Besides, she got busy focusing on Theo these weeks marking her completed first month of work. This is her time to unwind herself a little and to shake off her problems. She got tired from walking from one professor to another professor earlier. The university is big too, so walking back and forth up and down the buildings exhausted her.Adeline held her hand and accompanied her to a table with eight students, who looked familiar to her. “We are here!” Adeline announced their entrance, making her voice louder than the music playing in the backgroun
The tall chandeliers in the hallways gave a sparkling effect though the tiled floors. The hotel crews and assistant immediately assisted the visitors. All of them smiled at the Alpha’s family. However, as soon as they headed inside the private dining room they reserved, the atmosphere quickly changed. Expensive foods and drinks, especially wine were already served. All of them sat down and the conversation was started by the true leader. The Alpha and the leader of the family.“As I mentioned earlier, our business is getting more sponsors and exposure all over the world. This will push people to know more about our personal life. Including the family we have and the structure of our bloodline.” His slanted eyes looked at his son who had the same features as his.A bitter taste from his lips was left in that glass. He did not like the wine. He has not been in a good mood since earlier. He did not want any gap, especially if the people would find it a way to break his family’s reputati
Minutes before… Those two men woke her up, while Adeline was already snoring next to her. Hazel was mesmerized as soon as she saw those blinding lights coming from the chandelier hanging in the middle of the expensive ceiling. She was trying to get back from the sleepiness inside the car. Now that she is fully awake, the alcohol inside her body is also circulating through her blood. She feels a little drowsy and dizzy. This led her to grab the man standing next to her. “Miss Hazel, are you alright?” The man asked. Hazel stood straight and nodded her head. “Yeah, I just need to go to the bathroom.” she mumbled. Although her voice was barely audible, the man standing next to her quickly signaled his hand to ask the receptionist about the bathroom. He went back to Hazel and asked again. “Can you go there yourself, Miss?” The lady nodded her head and then scanned her surroundings to look for her friend. They are sitting in the lobby and even though she is wearing jeans and a shirt,
“What is he going to do?”“Is he angry at me?”“Is he going to slap me or something?”“Why did he tilt my chin up?” “Is he going to kiss me?!”These questions popped inside her mind. Her heart started to palpitate faster than someone who takes coffee as water everyday. She had no experience with romance and being this close to a guy is her first time.Hazel closed her eyes shut. If the Alpha wanted to kiss her, she did not want him to see her face. Axel might laugh at her or mocked her for being noob. She was not ready for a kiss either. The Alpha saw her close her eyes. Her cheeks being held together looks like a pufferfish to him. He found it cute and wanted to tease him. But then he remembered that there are a lot of roaming Alphas here and this place is not safe for Hazel.Axel untuckled the buttons of his black coat. He loosened his necktie and took off his black coat. He gently wrapped it around the lady’s head, covering her face then he swiftly lifted her up like a princess in

Theo gazed up at the twinkling stars above, a sense of wonder and awe reflected in his eyes. "Daddy, look at the stars! They're so beautiful," Theo whispered, his voice filled with a sense of reverence for the beauty of the night sky. Axel followed Theo's gaze, a smile playing on his lips as he took in the celestial display above. "They are indeed, Theo. Each star is like a little spark of magic in the sky, just like the magic we shared today at the theme park," Axel replied, his voice gentle and filled with tenderness. In that moment, father and son stood beneath the vast expanse of the night
Three-year-old Theo tugged at his daddy Axel's hand, his eyes bright with excitement and a wide grin stretching across his face. "Daddy, can we go to the theme park today?" Theo's voice was filled with eager anticipation, his words bubbling with the enthusiasm only a child could possess. Axel looked down at his son, his heart swelling with love at the sight of the joy dancing in Theo's eyes. The request caught him by surprise, but the pure happiness radiating from Theo was infectious, and Axel couldn't resist the urge to make his son's wish come true. "Well, Theo, a theme park adventure sounds like a fantastic idea!" Axel replied, his voice filled with warmth and affection. The thought of spending a day in the whimsical world of rides, games, and laughter with his son filled him with a sense of delight and anticipation. Theo's face lit up like a beacon, his excitement palpable as he bounced on the balls of his feet. "Yay, daddy! I want to ride the carousel and the roller coaster
