Chapter 80

Ava's pov

With my face bent to the floor, the only thing I could see was Alaric's feet. It suddenly became hard for me to breathe. I gasped for air because Alaric had just let go of my neck. He was this close to strangling me to death and it's all because of that thing Alana.

My coughing grew louder as I tried to regain my stamina. My vision had become very blurry and a sharp pain had developed at the side of my head. I still couldn't believe that Alaric could do this to me! I needed to leave immediately!

"Ava I'm sor...!" Alaric stammered as he apologized as soon as he saw me gasping got air. He tried to reach out to me but I had pushed him away.

"Don't touch me!" I yelled furiously as I covered my body with the fabric on the floor.
