NOLAN’S POV.

I only get back to my senses when I place Catania on a chair in the living room. Her face is drenched in tears, but she is no longer shivering out of fear. I hate the fact that it makes me feel relieved. Her pain is supposed to make me happy. I'm not supposed to save her when she’s in peril. I'm not supposed to be nice to her, but for some reasons I do not know, I can help but want to protect her. This is not of my own accord. I hate Catania and I will never want to save her. I took her away from those men under the influence of her pheromone.
