Chapter Four - Let this be the last
Arwen checked herself over in the floor-length mirror, the dress her mother and father had made for her for this evening was beautiful, the satin fell beautifully against the curves of her body, looking at a waterfall of forest green pooling on the floor around her feet, she couldn't help but raise a small smile while stearing at her reflextion. Turning slowly in the mirror she watched the fabric glisten as the light of her chambers chandelier reflected of the fabric. She was a present waiting to be unwrapped.
With Clara at her side, she made her way out of the only home she had ever known, to find her Mother and Father waiting for her next to a large black car sent for them by the king. Giving Clara as big a hug as she could muster she said her goodbyes before meeting her mothers and fathers disproving stare. Her mother quickly covered her expression before opening the car door and taking a piece of black fabric from of the seat, walking towards her daughter she placed it over her face, everything went black for Arwen she could see very little and in a way she was comforted by that. Feeling a light touch on her elbow she allowed herself to be lead to the car, sitting down on the seat she then swung her legs into the vehicle before hearing the car doors slam and her fathers' voice telling the driver they were ready to leave. She had not been surprised her brothers had not been there to see her off, as the time had gotten closer they had become sullen and withdrawn so their parents had sent them both away to a relative until the problem had been removed as she saw it. The drive had not been a long one but the silence between them had made it seem like an eternal trip that would never end.
With an almost sign of refleth the car stopped, hearing some shuffling around the car door opened before she felt the touch of her father helping her out of the car. She could not see where she was only the shadows of a large building through the darken fabric that covered her face. For a moment her feet refused to move sticking to the stone beneath them like glue. She was taken by the arm once more, her father's deep voice telling her there were steps in front of her. She was lead up the steps and into what seemed like enclosed space. A corridor maybe? her mind started to map out the path they took as she looked down at her feet, the green satin of her dress covering an old looking embroidered long rug, much like the ones in her family home. she suddenly had a feeling of a vast space as they came to a halt, a bored voice boomed around the room.
"Grayson, please let this be the last of them" a deep voice roared.
"She is the last my King" an older male replied with a gentle voice. "Please welcome the wedded couple Henry and Aster with their daughter Arwen"
Moving forward again she suddenly felt like she was on display but had no sense of who was in the room with them. looking again at her feet she could see her parents now on their knees her mother shaking ever so slightly, guess she wasn't the only one with nerves.
"Thank you for your offering" It was the voice of the bored male again.
Footsteps yes she could hear footsteps walking towards her, bring an intoxicating smell with them. The scent reminded her of honey and freshly cut grass, she was lost in the scent until two more sets of footsteps were heard this time walking away. Her parents were know longer on their knees they were leaving without as much as a goodbye, a small tear rolled down her cheek, she couldn't work out why she was surprised but it still stung to know they have brought her into this world just to abanded her now........
Zayn rolled his eyes as the feeble beings before him began to leave their only daughter in the presence of a stranger without as much as a goodbye for the poor girl.
"I don't believe I gave you both permission to stand or leave" his voice so loud and dominating it brought all in the hall to their knees.
Yet his twelfth bride was still on her feet unfazed by his commanding Alpha tone, but at least this was the last of his offerings and once this female had been placed with the others he could relax and forget at least for a little while about his upcoming mating ceremony.
The female before him began to shacking from head to toe as he got closer and closer to her, walking around her in silents he knew she was trying to control the shacking not wanting to show any signs of weakness in front of the person before her, and yet he could see it ever so slightly. He began to turn away from her as he sensed something else, something that caught his interest, her scent was weak but pulling him forward, wanting to smell it more strawberries and kiwi invaded his brain as his wolf howled in the pleasure, but something wasn't right her scent was hinged with something else.....she was angry.
Puzzled and intrigued by this new emotion he got even closer, smelling her scent taking in every inch of her. She wore on perfume and unlike the other's her hair had been down and long the tips of brown locks just visible beneath the black veil. Reaching forward he ran his hand along her hair, feeling its softness run through his fingers, lost in the sensation wanting to feel more, his wolf pushed for control.
Hearing a gasp from behind him he quickly released his hold and let the hair fall back in place. Shaking his head a little and closing his eyes for an instant he took a sharp in take of breath to take in more of her delicious scent as he headed back towards her parents to finish their oath.
"what special abilities does your daughter possess?"
Looking up into the king's eyes, Henry could only clear his throught before looking at his wife and back to the king. "Our daughter has yet to show her powers, your majesty. I am sure she is just a late bloomer".
Zayn stared at the female's parents before dismissing them from the hall.
"Thank you, you may now say goodbye to your daughter."
Neither of them showed any physical warmth to their daughter and simply spoke their goodbyes from a distance before leaving her standing alone in the hall. Fighting his wolf, Zayn headed back to his throne but not before his brother stepped forward blocking his way and whispering in his ear.
"Brother have you forgotten, the ceremony dictates no physical contact before the mating. You are lucky this female's parents have just left her without as much as a glance back"
Pushing past his Brother and taking his seat on the throne, Zayn gave a glance to his sister's raising a small smile to calm the looks of disbelief on their faces. Using the same hushed tones he spoke to " Brother I am more than aware, are we done here?"
"yer we're done" raising an eyebrow as he replied Pontus then looked across the vast pass to Grayson " We have finished here Grayson the ceremony is complete"
Realising the female was still standing in the centre of the throne room Zayn commanded to Grayson. "please place her with the others".
"Don't place her with the others I want her, We need to touch her again" Shadow whined still trying to take control.
"you'll get her soon enough" Zayn replied smirking as he watched the female being lead away.
Zayn was also fascinated by this females, she had been the first to spark his interest, most of the others had all been filled with wanting and need, stinking of greed, or fear. This one however was different but angry, why was she so angry and why did he feel the need to see what other emotions he could raise in her. Her anger was a temptation that he needed to explore. His eyes followed the female as she was lead from the throne room to a part of his family's home that in recent months they had come to name The Mating wing.
Although now as he looked at the female leaving the room. Mating was all that came to mind, the sway of her hips as she moved that green silky fabric showing every curve of her hour glass figure.
Chapter 5 - Behind the door Arwen saw only the males feet as he walked around her, her small frame shaking with sadness at the acts of her mother and father. The male took one lap around her before she saw him come back in front of her then turn away. She should have been pleased the male hadn't spoken to her, after all, what would she say to this stranger? but she wasn't happy, sad or even indifferent to his actions. No, she was angry, so angry that her body began to shake even more, she was angry with the life. She had been given the life that now belonged to this male, she was angry that for a lifetime she had lived in silence and now here she was again in silence, her hands began to tighten turning into fists, her knuckles going white. She had never felt this way before and it shocked her to her core. She had always known this day was coming and she had accepted her fate long ago but now as she stood there with this stranger looming over her anger bubbled up from the pit of her
Chapter 6 - Brotherly love Sitting at what can only be described as a monstrosity of a desk, with its MDF top and sides, metal capped draws with plastic silver coloured handles that had begun to worp over time showing the white plastic beneath there silver colouring. His now dead thow had not lived in the lap of luxury his little hovel had been a small flat over looking the local park, he quickly checked each draw of the desk searching for any sign of where more of his enieme made their home, or better yet signs of how they had come to this new world, finding nothing Haythem worked his way through each room checking for a laptop, an address book, any thing that he could take back to his brothers, but yet again he had come up with shit all. Frustrated he recalled Sarah scolding him for killing the mother fucker, he had always been hot headed and quick to act which made him wonder if that was one of the reasons Sarah had always turned him down, well that or his sparkling personality.
Chapter 7 - Dinner time Time was ticking away as Arwen went to get ready for dinner with the king, it was almost eight and the other women had been prepering themselves for some time for this evenings meal. She however spent her time exploring every nook and krany of the commuial space they had been given to spend their time. She had found nothing new however, she wasn't sure what she had expected to find, but to know there had been no way out if ever she wanted to explore a little more would have been nice. Walking into the bathroom she opened up the closet and flicked through her clothes pulling out a blue blouse and smart slacks she placed them on the bed before going back into the bathroom and locking the door, turning the shower on she placed her hand under the hot stream checking the tempreture, she had always been more of a bath person but since a shower was her only option she undressed and climbed in quickly wasing her body with the sweet smelling soap that had been placed o
Chapter 8 - Mate? Pontus was out of his chair quicker than his brain could follow and pinning his brother up to the wall, pinning him in place with all of this strength, growling in this brothers ear in a low voice "What the fuck is wrong with you, so she laughed it was funny. thats not a reason to rip her throat out". As Zayn was about to shake his brother of and sucker punch the fucker for getting in the way he caught a glimps of himself in the large mirror hanging over the fireplace on the opposite wall. His eyes where bullging and blood shot, his fangs throbbing peircing his bottom lip as blood pooled and dripped down his chin. Looking around the room he saw the horrifed look on the faces of his flesh and blood, shaking some sence into himself he broke free of his brothers grip and stormed out of the room down the hallway not heading anywhere impeticular, right now he didnt really care where he ended up space was what he needed, space from those horrified faces and space from th
Chapter 9 - Face to facePontus and his wife Alema retired to their section of their family home, Pontus being the second oldest and his brothers and most trusted advisor had become weary after today's events. He had personally seen to it that each of the families were transported to the manor on time and in the correct order from the time of birth. Each family was handsomely rewarded for the arrival of their daughters and quickly sent on their way. Alema had organised all the female's rooms including their communal area, handing picking everything from the books they had available to their furniture, bedding and toiletries.Walking over to their bed they were ready to climb straight into bed without even undressing, but no matter how tired Pontus was he would always treat his mate like the princess she is. Picking her up he placed her on the bed before bending to his knees and removing her high heels, giving her feet a gentle rub before moving his hands up her thighs, he would alway
Chapter 10 - RougeDamon stood in a hovel of a home. His inside man working in the royal pack had not returned any of his messages, meaning one of two things, he had either been caught or he had been spooked and fled the area. Two of his most trusted men were currently ripping the place apart, all his belongings were still there."Fuck! Let's get the hell out of here, this place stinks. The idiot is probably dead" he growled out. Both men stopped what they were doing and followed their leader outside to a waiting sleek black car. Damon sat in the passenger seat of the car waiting for his men to get in the back before instructing the driver to take them home. Driving back to their hideout he grew tired, closing his eyes and thinking about how many people he still had in the royal pack. It frustrated him to know he could not take them down, not without a solid plan and information on the layout of their packhouse. Sure they would sometimes kidnap servants and torture them for informati
POV - Arwen My heart was pounding in my chest as my mate pulled me impossibly closer to him, before he broke our kiss and he rested his forehead against mine as we both caught our breaths. He spoke first as my eyes slowly opened, looking straight into his love-filled eyes. "my beautiful mate." I could not help but blush, until my brain seemed to register what had just happened. I am here to marry another male, and yet I have found my mate. Panic started to rise within me as I became worried for my mates safety if they were to be found out. No, I could not think about that right now, not when my mate was standing right infront of me. As he pulled his head away from mine, I suddenly felt unhappy at the loss of the skin contact. As I looked up into my mates eye’s, he took my hand and led me deeper into the room. When I took the room in for the first time it was dark with lowlights, but I could still see the grandness of the room. The flooring was made of dark wood spanning across th
Leaving Arwen in bed and placing a note on her bedside table, finding it unbelievably hard to let go of her sleeping form, all he and Shadow wanted was to climb back in bed with her ensuring he kept her safe and close in his arms. He walked quickly while mind-linking with his siblings asking them all to meet him in his office. He didn't care if he had woken them up, his mind was in turmoil. He and Shadow itched to be with their mate, the bond was so strong that every step he took away from her room caused his chest to ache. Then there was the issue with the other eleven brides. Rubbing his aching chest, he realised he had been so much in his own thoughts he had already arrived in front of his office. Pushing the door to the office open he took long strides straight to his desk, waiting for the others to arrive. His office was just as his father had left it. The large room contained an extravagant desk and a spacious seating area with creamed coloured wallpaper adorning the walls, giv
