2- Mate!

“Alpha Adonis please wait!”

I turn to see Luke running after me.

“Sorry if my father annoyed you!”. Luke apologized.

“It’s fine! I expected this even before I came here. Anyway, you surely didn’t stop for this right? I asked him.

“No actually! As soon as Alpha, I look to you and wonder if you will do me a Favour and be my mentor?.” Luke asked me. I looked into his eyes and saw sincerity. He looks like he doesn’t have a hidden motive.

“Sure! Here Is my card, call me whenever you wish!.” I removed a card from my pocket and passed it to him.

“Thank you Alpha Adonis!” Luke smiled at me. I smiled back at him and walked out of the house. He seems like a nice guy. If I had the privilege to choose my mate myself, I would surely choose him.

I got into my car and drove off..

Alpha Wick’s POV~

I stood and watched through the window of my office as Alpha Adonis drove away.

That pompous bastard! He thinks he is above everyone. When I invited him here, I was sure that he would give in to my request. After all, his father was a dear friend of mine. But he acted as if he couldn't stand a minute in my pack.

Alpha Adonis is currently one of the youngest Alpha’s out there. But he owns one of the biggest packs also. When his father was alive and ruling, the pack wasn't so great but just in seven years Alpha Adonis was able to make the pack to become one of the most powerful exciting packs.

Having one of my children get mated to him will also increase my firm and power in the world. And I plan to achieve that. Nothing is going to prevent me from achieving that. Not even Alpha Adonis himself.

But then I noticed that he seemed annoyed. Something or someone must have offended him. I have earlier warned my children to be on their best behaviors so that Alpha Adonis can choose between one of them.

“Did any of you do something to annoy Alpha Adonis while he was here?”. I mind linking both Lucy and Luke.

“No dad! We were together when I met him. So it’s definitely not me.” Luke defended himself.

“Lucy?”. I called. I know that she can be crazy sometimes but I didn’t she will be stupid enough to offend Alpha Adonis!

“No dad, I didn't do anything. But..” she started to say but I cut her off.

“But what?.” May the goddess help her that she is not the one that offends Alpha Adonis or she is definitely going to get it from me.

“Well when I came to welcome him, he was already in front of your office standing with two omegas and from the looks of things, it seems as if the Omegas preposition him! He was not happy with that!”. Lucy explained.

What? the audacity of those omegas. It is no secret that Alphas mess around with omegas as they like but it’s usually the Alphas that summon them. It seems like they have gotten too much freedom these days.

“James! I got a guest today and two omegas attended to him. I want you to have them thrown into the dungeon immediately!” I mind link James the chief in-charge of the omegas working here in the Alpha house.

“As you wish it shall be done Alpha!.” James replied to me.

Good! By the time I am done with those omegas, they would not even remember their name.

Alpha Adonis POV~

Thirty minutes into my drive, I felt something run out of the forest and hit my car and I immediately stopped the car. I got out of the car to check what it was.

Immediately I got out of the car, I was hit with the most pleasant scent ever. It smells like lavender and lilies.

“Mate!!!” Kane shouted.

“What?.” I exclaimed, shocked! When the shaman said I will find me very soon, I wasn’t expecting it to be this soon.

“Seriously? That’s what you are going to say? Let’s check our mate !”. Kane fired at me.

I got over my shock and went to the front of the car. Lying on the ground is the most handsome boy I have ever seen.

His oval-shaped face is as smooth as a baby's own. His lips are a faint pink in color; it seems as if he is inviting me for a kiss. He has long eyelashes. I wish his eyes were open so that I can see it. He looks so perfect! More than I imagine my mate will be.

I got carried away with lust. I feel for him that I forgot I was supposed to choke his situation.

“Are you not supposed to check if he is still alive?.” Kane asked me.

I touched his hand and felt a pulse. He is still alive! I let out a sigh of relief. What was he doing in a werewolf area? Was someone chasing after him?

I started to cross check his body for any sign of wound. As I lift up his shirt, my eyes become red with anger at what I saw. On the back side of his stomach is a deep, fresh wound.

“Who dares do this to our mate?.” Kane furious shouted.

“I am not sure, but once he wakes up and I find out who did this, it will be the person's last day alive!” I swore. I tore the bottom of my shirt and used to wrap the wound to prevent blood from flowing. I quickly picked him up.

Sparkles everywhere immediately our body made contact. My mate leaned more to my body and I smiled.

“Our mate is subconsciously feeling the bond too!”. Kane rejoiced.

I opened the door of the back seat and gently played in there. I entered and started to drive at a very high speed.

My mate is a human and so he needs to be treated very quickly. I have once read in a book that too much loss in blood can lead to death.

In no time, I was in front of my pack. The guards immediately let me pass when they noticed how I was speeding. They must have known that it was an emergency. I started to drive towards the pack’s hospital before I stopped.

How am I going to explain what I am doing to a human? Not that I need to explain myself to anyone but people who see him will talk about it and the news will circulate everywhere.

I did a U turn and started to drive toward the forest. I have a personal cabin in the woods where I go whenever I want to be alone.

“I am back and will be staying in my cabin for now! Call me when you need something!”. I informed Jason through the mind link.

I arrived in front of my cabin and packed my car, I got out and rushed to take my mate out too. The torn piece of cloth I used to wrap his wound is now soaked with blood. I immediately picked him up and rushed to the cabin. The door opens with the sensor of my palm.

I drop him gently on a sofa In the lounge. I went to the kitchen section to search for a first aid box. I know it somewhere here! After searching almost all the cabinets, I found it.

I took off his stained shirt and threw it away. I first washed his wound in case of an infection. I then clean the wound and alloy some spirit. I might not be a doctor but I know how to treat a simple injury. After that, I wrapped a bandage over the wound. I picked him up and took him to the room. I laid him on the bed because I wanted him to be comfortable. I took one of my spear shirt and wore it on him. Since I am bigger and more muscular than him, the shirt was big on him.

I sat next to him on the bed and could not help but stare at him. He looks so peaceful and innocent. Like an angel. I gave in to the temptation and touched his face.

I let out a moan as if I felt the current and sparkle that passed through us with just a single touch. My goddess , he is perfect!

I don’t know for how long I sat next to him just staring at his face.

I got up and went to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee for myself. I went to my office over here and logged into my computer. I did some paperwork. By the time I was done, it’s night already. I went and took a shower and changed into my sweatpants and stayed shirtless.

I made myself a light dinner before I headed to the bedroom . There is only my bedroom in this cabin and so I have to share the bed with my mate. I do look forward to it.

I got on the bed and used the duvet to cover the both of us. Towards the middle of the night, my mate rolled into me and laid his hand on my chest. I placed my hand around him and smiled.

I will trade the whole world for this moment. That night I slept very peacefully.

The next day, I woke up to the sound of someone screaming.
