It took time, patience and a lot of love, but I finally started to feel like my old self again. I was stunned that I had acted that way. I mean, I could remember it all, but it didn’t feel as though it was me doing it. It was as though something had taken over my body and mind.

It felt as though everything I did was part of a strange fog I had been living in. I told Kai and the doctor everything as soon as it felt as though the fog had lifted. For a while, they even thought that I might have been under some kind of spell, since nobody could really tell what Paul had done to me.
