Chapter 43 - Fate's cruel hand.

I knew I didn't have much time, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to warn Ava. I should have stayed and warned her when I saw her earlier, but at that stage we didn’t have an agreement yet. I was feeling incredibly frustrated, because I knew if I left now, everyone would know that I was going to warn the Crescents.

Everything I have achieved in the past couple of hours would be wasted. I had the strangest feeling of Déjà vu, but something was different. It almost felt as if I was trapped in someone else’s body as I stood in my office looking out of the window.

I couldn’t leave. I was a prisoner in my own home, and I couldn’t save the woman I was no longer supposed to love.

While I was training, it felt as though I was being watched for a moment. I didn’t pay attention, because I knew the border patrol were out there protecting us. After my session, I returned home, finding my grandmother making the arrangements for the pack to pack our home.
