Nova's POV

"It has been days since I left that man. He can't come," I chuckled, sipping wine inside with my friend.

"I still feel you should tell your parents. What if he shows up out of the blue? What will you do then?" She asked, concern etched on her face. I rolled my eyes dismissively.

"He won't," I replied confidently, swirling the deep red liquid in my glass.

As if the universe had a twisted sense of timing, a soft knock interrupted our conversation. Startled, I turned my head towards the door, and a maid entered the room.

"Miss Nova, the Alpha, and Luna require your presence in the meeting room," she announced with a respectful nod.
