Alpha Asher's POV

I went down on my knees beside her. "Arabella, if you can hear me! Please come to me!"

My voice was loud and commanding. She was still intensely shaking and I thought I noticed her look at me for a second. "Arabella, it's me"

"I think you need to leave" one of the witches spoke. I turned to face her. "No, I don't"

"Leave!" She yelled again and when it looked like I was not yielding, she clapped twice and with the wave of her hand, I disappeared into the front of our gate. I landed on my feet from it.

"Arabella" I shouted with my entire strength, "open this door".

The vein in my neck and forehead became visible because of the force I was using to shout. I had not been that loud in a while.

I used all of my might from my belly down and shouted her name for the very last time. After the loud horn, I felt my head spin for a few seconds. I stood for some minutes to steady myself, panting a little while I tried to think of the next thing to do.

"I need to see her!"

Arabella's POV I took in the pages of what the book had shown me. Day and night, I trained.I made sure to sleep only long enough not to have a dreadful headache. I ate food only enough to keep me alive and I ignored everything else. Only revenge mattered.Asher had come to see me several times. He came with gifts and apologizes but I had refused to see him. I told the witches to send him back. Even when he decided to come stay in the coven again, I refused. They insisted and all I could do was to remind them of the current situation. My eyes were on revenge."Alright, just remember to come back home and eat something. Your fasting is not so good with the baby. Remember" One of the witches threw a coat on me. She held my hand and kissed the back of my palm."I'll make your favorite dish" she winked at me.Her sister gave me a water bottle and asked me to come back immediately the sky turned dark.It was so sweet of them."But I just don't get it. Arabella’s POV I had planned to attack Alpha Nick in a month’s time and it was approaching that month. I had already set the date and made arrangements with his guards. Actually, I had bewitched them with the magical spells the witches had given to me. I felt like things were finally falling into place. I had learnt the book of spells, I had fortified myself and I had also gathered some good skills at fighting. I was ready. ‘We wish you the best safety and success’ Mary held my hand and kissed it. It was the witches sign for goodluck. I read that in one of her books. I smiled at her, ‘You taught me well. I believe I will succeed. Don’t worry’. Her sister came from behind me and hugged me. She squeezed me tightly before letting me go. I sighed once I was released and then turned around to see her face. ‘You know I am just going for a battle, I will be back’ I smiled at her and then bowed a little. She was the one who taught me all the skills I would be using today. ‘Take this for yo

Alpha Nick's POV:To my biggest surprise, I was standing before the one and only Arabella. My sweet and beautiful Arabella. I smiled instantly."Arabella, my love. It's been so long. How are you doing?!"She ignored my words. Instead, she gave me a daring look."Alpha Nick, we meet again""Indeed we do. I've been searching for you for so long. I almost believed you were dead but a part of me decided to cling ontop fate. You can't die. I am not done with you yet." I sneered at her."Remember how we used to have fun before you ran away? Huh? Do you?" I started walking. I was trying to distract her with my words while I also kept her busy in her mind."Remember all the fun times we had?"Something about Arabella seemed off and I could sense it. Her behavior was new to me. The old Arabella that I had know would have trembled at the sound of my voice but as we stayed there talking, all she did was look. I decided to evoke emotions."Do you remember your former mate, Alpha Asher?"I watche

Arabella’s POVAsher fell to the ground before my very own eyes. He was meant to duck and take cover, just in time for me to hit Alpha Nick with a bolt but Nick was a strong man. He was also a smart man as well. He ducked instead and left the paralyzed Asher to stand there. The lightning scratched off Asher's shirt, penetrated his body and came out from the other side of his shoulder. I screamed.“Asher!!!!!!!!”Time froze and for some minutes I could hear Asher’s breath. He breathed his last and then his body became still.“Asher,” I rushed to him immediately as I ran over there and knelt by his head. I carried his head in my arms and placed them on my thighs while I was still kneeling.“Asher, hold on a little longer please” I whispered and then I turned back to the woods to cry for help.“Don’t even bother, as long as I am Alpha, the people from the neighboring packs will not come out. They know that I am here and they fear me. They would not dare come to save you”My blurry vision

Arabella’s POVI opened my eyelids to see my bedroom’s ceiling. My head moved slowly from my sides as I tried to get used to the darkness. My room was dark, and cold, and felt a little moist. The windows were open so I could feel the cool breeze intrude from time to time. I had laid there for minutes. I didn’t know what I was waiting for but then, I was still waiting for it when I heard it.A snort and then a snore. I quickly looked to my side. Laying beside me, on a bed that was separate from mine was Alpha Asher.I fully turned to my side to see him. He had his hand on his chest and was lying face up. He looked peaceful in his sleep. He turned a little and exhaled.I wanted to touch him. I wanted to feel him under my skin. I wanted to kiss him. I wanted to climb down and snuggle myself up behind him, just like old times. I craved his skin so badly.“Have you been looking at me that way? You're staring at me as though I’m dead” a voice tore through my thoughts. I searched through the

Arabella's POV.I told the Alpha of my heart not to come but he wasn't listening. He thrusted three times more inside of me and then he went with his semen. It left me having a disappointed face as I rolled my eyes at him and asked him to leave me alone. "You've just been too sweet, that's why. I'm so sorry" he patted my back as he rolled over me and laid down."I promise to do better"I almost died of laughter. "It was fun while it lasted"We slept quietly together. I slept on my left side while Asher rolled his arms right under my neck and cuddled me from behind. My body touched his warm skin and instantly, everything felt good."If you were this nice, why didn't you ever tell me" I whispered in my sleep."But I've been nice to you ever since I got here""I thought that was because you lost your memories" He snuggled me tightly to him, " Even if I lost my memories over and over again, I would still love you"Those words got me. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.*******

Arabella's POV. The celebration of my return alongside that of the Alpha Asher was a wonderful one. Food and drinks were served at the meeting room and while everyone was having fun, all I could do was think about Asher and Alpha Nick."Are you sure we don't need something?" The maid nudged me a little. She brought my attention back to herself with a beautiful smile. I laughed a little. "Of course now, we don't. That should be fine"I hoped she was talking about food because I had gone into a trance the moment she opened her lips to speak."If that is all, please leave" I watched her walk away from the throne room. She was so excited to see me.I heard from her that Alpha Nick and his men used to use her body for their pleasure. Those bloody bastards! My tongue grew white at that. I was disgusted."Arabella, my love" I heard. The one and only person who could call me that walked to my face and went on a squat. "How are you holding up?"I wanted to tell him that I was worried and I

Arabella's POV I lifted my nose in the air and sniffed around. Everyone was silent and I was still. Only my heart was beating. My eyes were wide open and my ears perked up and ready to pick up any movement, but then, nothing."Are you sure about that, Luna?" The head guard asked me. I nodded. I was very sure about what I had heard. There were no two ways about it.Something was present with us."Scan the environment, look around for footprints, hairs, or even fingerprints. Scour the place clean and bring me whatever you find" the head guard said.I sat proudly in the car while I watched everyone disband into the woods. It was only the head guard and I left."While they are gone, why don't we head home?" I nodded my head in agreement and he came back into the car. He ignited the engine and off we went. However, as we drove through the wet tarred floor of the highway that stood in between a thick forest, I couldn't help feeling that an eye was still set on us.Watching, observing and

Arabella's POVAfter feeding and tending to the triplets, we carefully escorted them to a secure safehouse in the basement of the attic. Ava insisted on staying with them, her protective instincts kicking in as she cradled our precious babies in her arms. With tears in my eyes, I kissed each of their foreheads, silently promising to return to them unharmed. As we left the safety of our makeshift sanctuary, the weight of impending conflict hung heavy in the air. The moon cast an eerie glow upon the forest, illuminating our path as we marched toward our destiny. The night whispered with the rustle of leaves, a symphony of anticipation and fear. We moved with purpose, each step a silent vow to protect our loved ones and rid the world of the darkness that threatened to consume us.Arriving at the rendezvous point, our allies stood ready, their eyes ablaze with determination. He's in danger," I uttered, the gravity of the situation piercing through the newfound calmness.Without hesitation, my father led the way, his steps purposeful as we ventured back to the house but I stopped them. "I think he's in this direction," I shouted and they stopped."Noah, take them home. I'll go find my brother." My father suggested but I shook my head. Without me, they might never find him and I'll be restless. I had to go with them. We just had to be extra careful. The air seemed charged with an unspoken tension, and my instincts guided me toward Jeremy's location. As we moved deeper into the forest, a sense of foreboding enveloped us. Arabella's POVIn the quiet of the nursery, surrounded by the soft breaths of the sleeping triplets, I grappled with the enormity of the revelations.I traced the patterns on the floor, lost in thought when Mary and her sisters materialized in the room. “Asher called me," Mary said, her eyes locking onto mine. "Your father explained the situation between you and the other Jere brother. “Is there a way to unlink us from each other? I don't want to be linked to him. And my blood, isn't there a way to remove that too?” I asked with hopeful eyes.“They asked me this and I will tell you the same thing I told them. Breaking a bond like yours is no easy feat. Only the witch who binds can unbind but she doesn't seem to be alive and with the help of my sisters and the rest of the coven, we'd try our best. I believe we can find a way.”Relief washed over me at the prospect of a solution. "Please, Mary, find a way”One of the sisters nodded, her expression serious. "First, we need to delve int

Arabella's POVI rushed to find Asher, my mind swirling with unanswered questions. As I entered the meeting room, Asher's concerned eyes met mine, and I knew he sensed that something was wrong."Dad needs us. There's something going on," I said, trying to convey the gravity of the situation.Asher nodded, immediately following me to my father's room. The atmosphere was tense as we entered, my father and Jeremy exchanging uneasy glances. My father gestured for us to sit, and as we did, he began to explain."As you already know, Jeremy and I are the Jere twins," he began, looking at his brother and then at me. "We've been around for more than three hundred years before I finally met your mom then had you. Before that time, the two of us used to rule, until there was a fight and he became a rogue. I couldn't bear to kill my own twin but I had to find a way and it came with its own consequences. With everyone's help, we were able to find the witch queen who explained that you were coming,

Arabella's POVAs I met Jeremy's gaze, a chill ran down my spine. The shared look of terror confirmed that what I had experienced wasn't merely a product of exhaustion. There was something more, something ominous lurking in the shadows."Jeremy," I whispered, my voice shaky. "What does it mean? Why would we both dream something so vivid and unsettling?"His eyes darted nervously, and for a moment, I wondered if he held a piece of the puzzle he wasn't ready to share. "Why did we have the same dream?" I asked and this time he opened his mouth to speak."We're connected. As for the dream, I don't know…"A surge of anxiety tightened my chest. "But what if it's a warning? What if something terrible is about to happen to Dad or you?"Jeremy hesitated, his jaw clenched. "We have to be careful. I think you should call your witch friend," he said, then turned around, an air of mystery following him as he left. "Don't bother him now, Ara," Asher sang in my ear as he saw that I was looking at t

Arabella's POVJeremiah's eyes held a mixture of sadness and regret as he regarded me. "Arabella, my dear, I've been trapped in this place for many years. Breaking the barrier at the door was only the first step. But now, we need the map that brought you here."I nodded, determined to free my father from this mysterious confinement. I retrieved the aged map from my Jeremy and handed it to him. As he studied it, a solemn expression crossed his face."This map is more than just a guide," he murmured. "It holds the key to the enchantment that keeps me here. We must decipher it together."I leaned closer, my eyes fixed on the intricate details of the map. "Tell me what to do, Father. I'll do whatever it takes to free you."He muttered a few incantations, his fingers tracing the lines on the map. Suddenly, the room seemed to shift, as if responding to whatever he was saying. A low hum filled the air, and the barrier that surrounded my father's room weakened."Arabella, my strength is fadin

Asher's POVJeremy led me to a secluded corner of the house, away from prying eyes and curious ears. The air was heavy with tension, and I fixed him with a glare that could pierce steel."Explain yourself," I demanded, my voice low and threatening. "What happened with Arabella? And why the hell is my sister claiming some... connection with you?"Jeremy ran a hand through his wet hair, raindrops falling onto the floor like a steady beat. "Look, Asher, I didn't plan for any of this. I found Arabella outside, unconscious. I have no idea why she was there or what caused her to faint. And as for your sister, Ava, I can't explain that either. It's not something I control."I scoffed, unconvinced. "You expect me to believe that? We've been through enough without adding mysterious mates and fainting episodes to the mix. I need answers."He sighed, a weariness in his eyes. "I know it's hard to believe, but I'm not your enemy here. As for Ava, the connection she feels is real, even if it defies

Asher's POVAll of a sudden it began to rain heavily and we decided to go back inside. As I approached the entrance to our home, I noticed the lights were turned on. Thinking it was Jeremy, I ran in.Entering the living room, my eyes widened in disbelief at the scene before me. Jeremy stood there, his soaked figure revealing that he was in the storm outside. Yet, it wasn't the rain that held my attention, it was the limp form of Arabella he cradled in his arms."What the hell happened?" My voice came out, filled with shock and anger. I glanced between Arabella's unconscious form and Jeremy's stoic expression."She fainted," Jeremy explained calmly, his eyes meeting mine. "I found her like this outside. I didn't see you, so I brought her in."I could feel the heat rising within me. "Fainted? Why was she outside in the first place?""I don't know. She was just standing there, and then she collapsed. I did what I could to get her here quickly." "Call for the nurse. Now." My command cut
