Four Years Later

Kira's POV

“Kira, please don’t look!” My mother’s desperate voice echoed in my head like a haunting memory. It wasn’t real, just a nightmare I couldn’t escape. The loud beeping of the alarm jolted me awake, snapping me back to reality. Groaning, I reached for the wall clock.
5:00 a.m.
"Shit!” I cursed, leaping out of my bed. “Not again!”
I darted into the bathroom, taking the quickest shower I could manage. The cold water did little to calm my frazzled nerves. Putting on my servant’s uniform, I ignored the mirror entirely. There was no time to check my reflection. I grabbed my things and rushed out of my cramped room in the servant quarters, sprinting toward the pack house.
The pack house was already lively with activity, servants bustling in every corner, rushing to meet their endless list of tasks. No one stopped to talk; there was no time for that. My feet carried me straight to the kitchen, where my first task of the day awaited me.
Serving the triplets their morning coffee.
This was the most dreaded task of my life since starting work here as a servant four years ago.
Arriving in the kitchen, I grabbed the tray with the three cups of steaming coffee, carefully preparing it according to the triplets' preferences. No mistakes were tolerated by them. My hands trembled slightly as I balanced the tray.
The triplets—Darius, Damien, and Dane—were notorious for their tempers and cruelty. Working here was a nightmare, but after the tragedy that struck my family four years ago, I had no choice. I was forced into this life, supposedly to pay for my parents’ sins.
The hallway leading to their wing felt longer than usual, each step heavy with fear. Their wing was lavish, designed to showcase the wealth and power of the pack's leadership. Deep red carpets, expensive paintings, and the faint scent of cedar lingered in the air.
I stopped in front of the massive double doors leading to Darius’s room. My heart raced as I lifted my hand to knock, praying he wasn’t in one of his moods.
“Stop knocking and get the hell in!” his irritated voice growled from inside.
Swallowing hard, I pushed the door open, the tray trembling slightly in my hands.
The sight that greeted me turned my stomach. Darius was sprawled on his bed, tangled with a blonde girl, kissing her so deeply it was as if I weren’t even there. They didn’t pause or glance in my direction.
I quickly looked away, my chest tightening. This wasn’t the first time I’d walked in on a scene like this, and I doubted it would be the last.
Moving silently, I placed the cup of coffee on his desk, hoping to escape before he noticed me. But as I turned to leave, his sharp voice stopped me.
“Wait.”
I froze, my heart sinking at his command. The girl’s annoyed groan was followed by Darius shoving her away.
Turning reluctantly, I found him walking toward me in nothing but his underwear, his broad chest on display. My eyes betrayed me, flickering downward briefly and catching sight of his bulge. Heat crept up my neck, and I quickly focused my eyes on the floor.
Darius grabbed the coffee cup from the table, took a sip, and immediately scowled. “You added sugar to this?” he snapped.
Panic surged through me. I’d made the same mistake again, mixing his coffee with Dane’s. Darius hated sugar in his coffee; Dane preferred his coffee sweet, and Damien took both.
“I’m sorry,” I said quickly, my voice trembling as I tried to fix my mistake. “I’ll bring you another one right away—”
But my words were cut short when he suddenly poured the coffee on me, and I flinched, taking a step back. The hot coffee stained my dress and brought discomfort to my skin.
Darius’s growl, his frustration obvious. “What the hell is wrong with you, Kira? You’ve worked for us for the past four years and still can’t get this right?”
“I—” I started, but the anger in his eyes silenced me.
“Get out!” he barked.
I nodded quickly, grabbing the cup and practically bolting from the room.
Once outside, I leaned against the wall, clutching the tray to my chest as I tried to catch my breath. My hands trembled, and I hated how easily he got to me.
After a moment, I straightened, forcing my emotions back into the box where I kept them. I couldn’t afford to break down.
Damien’s room was next. Unlike his brother, he was a bit more playful, but his mood swings made him just as dangerous.
Steadying my emotions, I knocked on his door.
“Come in,” his cold, commanding voice echoed from inside.
I pushed the door open and stepped inside, keeping my gaze low to avoid meeting his piercing sea-blue eyes. Damien was sitting at his desk, shirtless, with his dark hair slightly disheveled. His sharp features and well-built frame made him the kind of man most women would swoon over, but his cold demeanor was enough to freeze anyone in their tracks.
“You’re late,” he said, his voice calm but laced with irritation.
“I apologize, Damien,” I murmured, placing the coffee on his desk.
Before I could step back, his hand shot out, grabbing my wrist. His grip wasn’t painful but firm enough to make me freeze.
“Look at me, Kira.”
Reluctantly, I lifted my gaze to meet his. His eyes bore into mine before darting to my stained uniform. His brow furrowed, and he didn’t need to ask because he already knew who did this.
“You’re shaking,” he observed, his tone softening slightly. “Are you scared of me?”
I swallowed hard, unsure how to respond. Honestly, I was scared of him, but more importantly, I hated him. He and his brothers took turns making my life miserable.
He held my gaze for a moment longer before releasing me.
“Leave,” he said curtly.
Without hesitation, I turned and left the room, anger bubbling inside me.
The last stop was Dane’s room. He was the quietest of the three but no less intimidating. His dark brown eyes seemed to see right through you, and his silence often spoke louder than words.
When I entered his room, he was already up, standing by the window with a book in his hand. He didn’t even glance at me.
As I set the coffee down, Dane’s smooth voice broke the silence, laced with a quiet intensity that always unsettled me.
“In the end, we are all just stories, waiting to be told.’” His voice carried the line effortlessly, but there was an edge to it, a challenge that sent a shiver down my spine.
I froze, unsure if I was meant to respond. When he turned to face me, his dark brown eyes locked onto mine with an unreadable expression. “Do you know what this means, Kira?”
I swallowed hard, unsure of what to say. My heart pounded against my chest as I shook my head. “N-no, Dane,” I stammered, hoping my voice wouldn’t betray the lie.
Dane’s gaze darkened, his calm demeanor melting into something much sharper. He snapped the book shut with a loud thud and strode toward me.
“Don’t lie to me,” he said, his voice low and venomous as he stopped just inches from me. His towering frame made me feel smaller than I already did. “I know you’ve read this book. I’ve seen you sneaking books out of the mansion library. You think I don’t notice?”
My breath hitched as my mind scrambled for a response. “I… I wasn’t—”
“Enough,” he growled, cutting me off. “Do you think I’m a fool, Kira? That I wouldn’t catch on to your little hobby of stealing books? Do you know what that makes you? A thief. Just like your traitor parents.”
His words hit like a slap to my face, the mention of my late parents twisting a knife in wounds I thought I’d buried. I bit my lip, trying to keep the tears from falling. I refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing me break.
“I didn’t steal—” I began, but he stepped closer, his voice a dangerous whisper now.
“Lying too?” he sneered. “You’ve inherited more than just their blood, haven’t you? You’re just like them. A thief. A liar. Betrayal’s in your veins.”
His words hurt me, but I couldn’t let him see the pain they caused. Instead, I straightened my back and clenched my fists, forcing myself to meet his gaze. “I don’t deny borrowing books, but I returned every single one. I’m not a thief,” I said, my voice trembling.
Dane’s lips curled into a humorless smirk, his eyes narrowing as if daring me to hold my ground. For a moment, I thought he might lash out, but then he stepped back, shaking his head as if I wasn’t worth the effort.
“Pathetic,” he muttered, turning away. “This is your last warning. If I catch you lying or stealing again, there will be consequences.”
Without another word, he dismissed me with a wave. As I stepped back into the hallway, I rested my back against the wall and closed my eyes. The triplets may have different facial features, behaviors, personalities, skills, and emotions, but they have one thing in common. They all hated me, And I hated them just as much.
The sudden sound of footsteps forced my eyes open.
“Here you are, Kira. The head maiden is asking for you, and she seems furious,” Titus, a guard, said.
I swallowed hard, wondering What trouble had I gotten myself into this time?

    Kira's POV
My feet carried me to the kitchen, where all the female servants were gathered. The moment they saw me, their eyes were filled with hatred and disgust. I hadn’t wronged any of them, yet they all despised me due to the fact that my parents had a hand in the death of our Luna. Something I knew was a lie, which I was going to prove one day.
“Kira, come forward,” the head maiden ordered.
With a hard swallow, I moved my feet towards her. The moment I got to where she stood, a loud slap hit my cheek, forcing my head to move the other way. I gasped in pain as tears stung my eyes, and then slowly, I looked back at the head maid.
“You have been stealing from the storeroom!” she yelled at me, and I furrowed my brow while a single strand of tears falls on my cheek.
“Stealing? How? I’m not a thief,” I said amidst sobs.
“Don’t lie to me!” she snapped, cutting me off. “Food has been disappearing from the storeroom for weeks. I kept quiet, waiting to catch the thief. And just a moment

  • The Alpha Triplets’ Scorned Mate   Secret

    Darius’ POV
I stood on the balcony as I watched her kneeling under the scorching sun. My wolf was howling in my head, urging me to set her free from that punishment, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t do it even though she was my mate.
Yes, Kira was my mate. I had known since I turned eighteen, four years ago—just days after her traitorous parents were executed for causing my mother’s death. But I never told a soul. How could I? How could I admit that the girl I had sworn to hate, the girl I had vowed to make suffer every day of her life, was my fated mate? How could I face my brothers knowing they would mock me for being bound to the daughter of traitors?
I refused to be a laughingstock.
So I decided to hide this secret, waiting until the day Kira turned eighteen when she would discover that we were mates. Then, I would secretly reject her and move on with my life. That was my perfect plan.
Watching her trembling in discomfort, I felt a tiny pang in my chest, but just as quickly as it

    Darius’ POV
I placed Kira onto my bed, my frown deepening as I stepped back, forcing my hands away from her burning skin. My wolf was restless, pacing in my head, growling at me for letting this happen. “She’s ours. We should have protected her. We should…”
“Shut up,” I snapped at him, shoving the bond deep down where it belonged. I had spent four years ignoring it, locking it away, pretending it didn’t exist. I wasn’t about to break now.
The door slammed open behind me.
My brothers stalked into the room, their arms crossed as they glared at me.
Dane was the first to speak, leaning against the door frame, arms crossed. But his eyes—those sharp, calculating eyes—lingered on Kira for too long before he turned to me. “You’re acting strange.”
Damien scoffed. “Strange is an understatement.” He stepped forward, his jaw tight, muscles tense. “You ran to her like your life depended on it.”
I held his gaze, forcing a smirk. “Would you rather I let her die?”
Damien scoffed. “Yes.” But ther

  • The Alpha Triplets’ Scorned Mate   Seen Me Naked

    Darius' POV
I stood there, watching Kira as she froze, dumbfounded. But within seconds, her gaze darted to the floor, looking nervous and stunned.
I remained rooted where I stood. Being naked in front of others wasn’t a big deal for me. As wolves, we undress in front of each other all the time before shifting, so our bare forms are nothing to be ashamed of.
But this time, I was going to make it a big deal.
Kira hadn’t shifted yet, she still doesn’t have her wolf yet. That meant she had never experienced the vulnerability of being seen naked. I, on the other hand, had never had the chance to see her naked.
“I… I’m so sorry… I thought you weren’t in your room,” she stammered, her eyes fixed on the door as if she wanted to flee.
Normally, I wouldn’t care if someone saw me like this. If it were anyone else, I would have let it slide.
But this was Kira.
And I was going to use this to my advantage.
“Sorry?” I scoffed, taking a slow step forward. “I don’t need your fucking apology, Kira.

    Damien’s POV
I was heading to Darius’ room when I saw Kira rushing out, looking uneasy. Her breath was unsteady, her fingers trembling as she clutched the fabric of her dress. The moment our gazes met, my wolf howled possessively.
“Mate.”
Kira froze for a second, her lips parting as if she wanted to say something. But then, she averted her eyes and hurried down the hall.
Something was wrong.
My wolf growled in irritation, pacing inside me. She smelled different—flushed, warm, a scent laced with emotions I couldn’t quite place. Was it guilt? Shame? I wasn’t sure, but I didn’t like it.
Frowning, I turned toward Darius’ room and pushed the door open without knocking.
I noticed Darius was not in his room, and then the plate of fruits scattered on the floor caught my attention, making me wonder what had happened between Darius and Kira. Did he do something to her? Did something happen between them? I was so frustrated and eager to know.
Suddenly, I heard it.
A low, guttural moan comin

  • The Alpha Triplets’ Scorned Mate   Jealousy

    Damien’s POV
The door pushed open, and a scared-looking Kira stepped into the room. I watched her nervously shut the door before she turned around and looked my way.
“You sent for me?” she asked softly, her lips trembling with fear.
“Mate!” My wolf howled loudly in my head, but I pushed it down and put on a stoic expression. Slowly, I got up from the bed and made my way toward her. I could see the fear in her eyes as she watched me get closer, and when I did, I pinned her against the wall, positioning my two hands beside her so she wouldn’t be able to move.
“Damien… what—”
“Keep shut!” I spat in anger and jealousy. The thought that she might have done something with Darius was already driving me insane.
“Tell me, Kira, are you fucking my brother?” I asked in anger.
Kira’s eyes widened, and she quickly shook her head. “No…”
“Don’t you dare lie to me!” I warned, but she shook her head again. “I’m not lying,” she said, and in that moment, I could tell she was telling the truth. But

Sonia lay back on the bed, her legs spread, her body on full display for me. Her smirk was teasing, her eyes dark with anticipation. She knew what I wanted—what I needed—and she was more than willing to give it to me.
I didn’t waste time. My belt hit the floor with a sharp clink, and I shoved my pants down, my cock already hard and aching. I crawled onto the bed, grabbing Sonia’s ankles and yanking her closer, making her gasp in surprise.
“You’re in a hurry tonight,” she purred, but I wasn’t in the mood for her teasing.
I wrapped my fingers around her throat, squeezing just enough to make her gasp. “Shut up,” I growled, watching her eyes widen with excitement.
Her lips parted, her breath hitching as I tightened my grip just a little more. “Yes, Master,” she whispered.
That sent a dark thrill through me. I released her throat and grabbed her hips, flipping her onto her stomach in one swift motion. She barely had time to brace herself before I yanked her up onto her kn

    Kira’s POV
Reaching my room in the servants' quarters, I rested my back against the wall and drew in a deep breath. I felt so disgusted with myself. I hated the way they had seen naked and without clothes, but what hurt more was how foolishly I loved his touch. I hated even more how my body had betrayed me, how foolishly I’d craved his touch.
I sighed and then moved over to the bathroom attached to my room. I took a moment to wash my face in the sink and stared at the mirror, shame, and embarrassment enveloping my entire being, but I sucked in a deep breath and gathered my emotions.
“Come on, Kira. Act like it never happened,” I whispered, the words tasting like a lie.
I left my room, heading back to the main mansion to resume my duties. Despite feeling sick from the lingering effects of the flogging, I couldn’t stay back in my room. Staying back would only bring more problems for me, and I wanted to avoid that.

    Kira's POV

“You heard me.” His voice was softer now. “I didn’t buy that necklace for just anyone. I don’t bring just anyone to my side at events like this. But you… you’re the exception. Because I want you to be my woman.”
My breath hitched. His woman?
I opened my mouth, but no words came out. My mind was spinning. This had to be some kind of joke. Alpha Leo, uncle of the triplets, brother to our Luna, whom my parents were accused of orchestrating her death—likes me? It didn’t make sense. It couldn’t.
“You don’t believe me,” he observed, his eyes narrowing.
I shook my head slowly. “I just… I don’t understand why you would.”
His expression darkened, and before I could react, he reached out, gripping my chin between his fingers, forcing me to look at him. “Then let me make it clear for you,” he murmured, his voice dropping an octave. “I don’t play games, Kira. When I want something, I take it. And right now, I want you.”
My pulse pounded. The intensity in his gaze sent heat flooding

    Kira POV
The auction came to an end, and Alpha Leo led me out of the table. But the moment we stood up on our feet, other guests began making their way to us, and instantly, I became anxious.
Leo, the observant type, leaned towards my ear. “Stay calm, I’ll do all the talking,” he whispered.
Just as he whispered, my gaze accidentally locked onto the triplets. They were staring at me, gawking, almost. My heart lurched, and I quickly looked away, pretending not to notice the way their eyes burned into me.
“Alpha Leo, I didn’t expect to see you here tonight.”
A deep voice cut through the noise, drawing my attention. The man speaking appeared to be in his early thirties. Dressed in a navy-blue, impeccably tailored suit, he had a strong physique and a handsome face. It seemed everyone here was strikingly good-looking.
Leo shrugged. “I decided to leave the comfort of my home,” he responded casually.
The man hummed in acknowledgment before shifting his gaze toward me. A small, friendly smi

    Kira’s POV
“Stop staring at them.” Alpha Leo leaned down and whispered into my left ear when he noticed me stealing glances at them. Not that I could help it. The triplets sat just a table away from us, and their eyes were glued to me. They weren’t even trying to hide it.
Swallowing hard, I shifted uncomfortably in my seat and looked up at Alpha Leo, who had a blank look on his face.
“Did you tell them I was coming to this auction with you?” I asked curiously. From the way they were staring, they seemed dumbfounded to see me here.
“No, I didn’t,” Alpha Leo plainly replied, and I gasped.
I gasped. “You…” My voice rose slightly before I caught myself and quickly lowered it. “You didn’t?” I whispered in disbelief. I had assumed he told them, maybe even asked for their permission. But he hadn’t.
Leo narrowed his eyes at me. “Why should I tell them?”
I swallowed hard. I was in deep trouble.
“You…” I started to argue, but the auction was about to begin, and the room fell silent.

  • The Alpha Triplets’ Scorned Mate   All Eyes On Me

    Kira's POV
The last time I wore something this beautiful was four years ago, back when my parents were still alive. Since their deaths, I had known nothing but tattered rags—until tonight. Dressed in a fitted red gown gifted to me by Alpha Leo, I stood before the mirror, taking in my reflection. My life flashed before me.
What would things have been like if my parents hadn’t been framed? Would I still be the Beta’s daughter, living like a princess? The triplets would have surely accepted me. Life would have been good—so good, so beautiful.
Tears welled in my eyes, but I blinked them back. I wouldn’t ruin my makeup.
A knock at the door pulled me from my thoughts. One of the male staff stood there, informing me that Alpha Leo was waiting.
I inhaled deeply, stealing one last glance at my reflection before picking up the purse that matched my dress. The silver heels I wore clicked against the floor as I made my way out.
I took the stairs to the living room and could see the admiring

    Kira’s POV
“She is waking up.”

The voice was faint, distant, as if coming from underwater. My head throbbed as I struggled to force my heavy eyelids open. It took a few seconds before my vision cleared, and that was when I noticed the pack healer seated in front of me, looking relieved.

I furrowed my brows, confusion settling in. Why was she here?

“Can you hear me?” she asked softly.

Instead of answering, I shifted my gaze around the unfamiliar room, my confusion deepening. This wasn’t my room. Before I could register where I was, my heart nearly stopped when my eyes landed on him.

The same man. The handsome stranger.

He leaned casually against the wall, arms crossed over his broad chest, his piercing gaze fixed on me.

“You…” I swallowed hard and sat up, my eyes darting around the room. That was when I noticed the framed photographs on the walls—the late Luna’s pictures.

Goddess!

I gasped, scrambling out of bed, but the moment my feet hit the floor, my legs buckl

  • The Alpha Triplets’ Scorned Mate   Staying

    Dane’s POV
I stepped forward, my voice laced with anger. “Her parents were the traitors who orchestrated our mother’s death—your sister’s death! She is the daughter of those traitors!” I spat.
A heavy silence settled over us. One second. Then another. And another. Finally, Leo sighed, shaking his head. “Now I get it,” he murmured, his gaze fixed on Kira’s unconscious form. “Now I get it.” He exhaled sharply before lifting his eyes to meet mine and my brothers’.
“So you are making her pay for the supposed sins of her late parents?” he asked calmly, but I could feel the anger beneath the calmness of his voice. And what surprised me more was that the anger wasn’t directed at Kira—it was directed at us!
“She should have died alongside them. We’re already being merciful,” Darius grunted.
Leo scoffed and folded his arms. “So you think living this kind of life—slavery—is better than death?” he asked, and my confusion deepened even more. What was happening? Leo was confusing us. We expec

    Damien’s POV
As soon as the guards dragged her away, a restless feeling surged through me. I kicked a stool across the room, frustration seething inside me. Running a hand through my hair, I exhaled sharply. God! I was losing my mind, and the furious howls of my wolf only made it worse.
I wanted to scream. To demand answers. To call for the guards and order them to hunt down the bastard who had dared to date Kira. Everyone in this pack knew she belonged to us—not as a lover, but as our slave. So who was the fool reckless enough to claim her? To touch her.
I clenched my fists, forcing myself to stay calm. I couldn’t let my brothers suspect a thing. If they saw me reacting the way I truly wanted to, they would know. And I could never allow that. They could never find out that Kira was my mate.
Sighing heavily, I slumped into the armchair, trying my best to control my emotions and restlessness. Darius and Dane also took their different seats, each of them seeming to be in deep thoug

“Because… because you are our slave!” Darius finally said, and I frowned. For a moment, I thought he was going to spill out the truth to his brothers, but it seems my wolf was wrong.
“Yes… you are a slave, our slave… even the air you breathe belongs to us. You have no right over your life, Kira. You lost that right when your parents became traitors,” Damien added.
“Now tell us, who is that bastard?” Dane urged.
I glared at the three men before me, my heart racing, but no longer in fear, but in anger and hate. I could take any insult thrown at me, but calling my parents traitors was something I hated more than anything.
I lifted my chin and held their gazes. “My parents aren’t traitors, and one day, I’m going to prove that. And when that day comes, you three bastards will take back your words, and the whole pack will pay for the death of my innocent parents!” I spat in anger.
The triplets stared at me with two expressions in their eyes—anger and hate. I could see they ha

    Kira’s POV

I took a deep breath, gripping the doorknob tightly before slowly pushing it open. Stepping inside, I gently shut the door behind me, but the moment my gaze landed on the triplets, my soul nearly left my body.
Alpha Darius stood near the window, his arms crossed over his shirtless broad chest, his piercing gaze locked onto me. Alpha Damien lounged on the couch, one leg casually resting over the other, but there was nothing relaxed about him—his eyes burned with anger, and his fingers tapped rhythmically against the armrest.
And then there was Alpha Dane. He stood closest to me, leaning against the door frame as if he had been waiting for me. His brown eyes were filled with rage, his entire body tense, as though he was one breath away from exploding.
I swallowed hard, feeling trapped.
Three pairs of eyes bore into me, their anger suffocating the air in the room. My mind screamed at me to leave, to turn around and bolt, but my body refused to move.
Darius finally spoke, h
