CHAPTER THIRTY - ONE

Michael’s POV

“Agnar!” I jerked up from sleep. Sweat had formed a puddle on my chest. Running my hands through my hair, I sighed deeply. Oh, it was just a dream. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I had walked back and was about to lay on the bed when I heard it again. This time, it was clear and loud.

“Agnar!” I rushed out of the room and ran downstairs. And there Hercules was, sprawled on the floor. I was filled with dread. I rushed to his side and began to shake him.

“Hercules! HERCULES, wake up!” I checked his hands. They were still warm. Something must have made him pass out.

Just then, someone ran in. It was Zen.

“Your highness, the night crawlers are here,” he announced out of breath, and immediately my heart missed a beat. Night crawlers? I turned to Hercules. So that was why he passed out.

How could they do this? I have no debt with them. Or maybe I do.

“Take him into the room and come out immediately; we are leaving." I turned to Hercules and stood up. I stood up a
