CHAPTER 80

Nora’s POV

“Take her away,” he ordered the guards, and they left with Claire. I stared at him, and in my heart, a mountain of pain was building. I have never wanted to kill a person more than then. If only looks were guns.

“How could you? You monster!" I cried out. He shut his eyes for a brief second. A calm smile was on his face. It was like he lived for my pain.

I fell to the floor, and she clawed at the floor. I needed to do something, or I would explode. My nails made screeching sounds, and he covered my ears. I lunged at him and grabbed his hair. I made sure to pull as hard as possible. The guards managed to pull me away.

“You have turned all my family against me,” I cried. "I wasn’t the one who made backstabbers, sweetheart,” he smirked. I badly wanted to wipe that look off his face. I flung my legs at him, and my shoe flew to his face and hit him in the nose. I burst into laughter. Nothing made me happier at that moment than the look of pain on his face.

“Tie her up,” he frowne
