CHAPTER 102

Michael’s POV

I flung my eyes open immediately when I heard the noise. I stood up to find out that it was a phone ringing. I turned around to find out that it was my phone. I was surprised to find out that it was unscathed after what I had been through.

“Hello”

“Hello Michael, it’s me, Dean.”

Dean was a friend of mine, but he wasn’t close. We were more on the surface than friends. What I found surprising was why he was calling me.

“Hello?” I couldn’t hear a thing. It turns out that the phone was actually bad. So I had to make use of the phone I saw in the house.

“Hello Dean, tell me what happened,” I said.

“Michael, I know this would come as a surprise to you. I have been trying your number for weeks now. What happened?” he asked.

“I don’t know if I should tell you this.” I paused for a bit and told him everything. I was attacked by rogues on my way to the human side to find my heir.

“Wow, that’s a lot to take in. I guess by now, your brother would be worried sick, looking for you,”
