Hopeful

I wake up the next morning, more hopeful about my future than I was when I went to bed. I get up from bed and check my phone for the time. It was eight o’clock in the morning. I went to my bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the day. I did not know what time Alaric would come over, I just wanted to be ready and prepared.

I washed my hair, scrubbed my body, and brushed my teeth before I left the bathroom. I walked to my vanity in my towel and applied my moisturiser and vitamin c serum. After that, I put on deodorant and walked inside my closet. I decided to put on a dress today. I decided on an off shoulder, floral print dress with little ruffles.  

It was blue mostly with different coloured flower designs. I wanted to wear sandals with the dress, so I picked out a pair of white sandals that had lacy designs shaped like a butterfly. They were really pretty and they went well with my dress. I put on some u
