“Hello, your highness. I am Alaric Martin. I am Luna’s mate,” Alaric says to Blake. I expected Blake to get angry at Alaric calling m his mate, since his nostrils flared when I called him my mate. “It is nice to meet you. We have been praying for Luna to meet her mate since she arrived at our palace,” Blake replies.

“Has she told you about your responsibility as her mate?” Blake asks. Alaric looks at me before he looks back at Blake and replies, “Yes, she did. I will be her King Consort,” Blake looks at him and smiles. “That is good, are we going to swim?” he asks. “Yeah, we are. I am just waiting for Luna,” Alaric replies.

I stand up from the lounge chair and tell Alaric, “Let us go, I will come in after you,” “Alright, sweetie,” Alaric replies. Alaric dives into the deep side of the pool and when he comes back up, he looks surprised and keeps staring at Blake. Blake notice his stare and asks, “What is the problem?”
