Luna’s P.O.V
After we left the palace and drove to Alaric’s place. We got down and Alaric helped me with my bags. We walked inside his two-storey house and he led me upstairs to where my room would be. It was beside his room, shocker. I spent the morning unpacking my things. Since I did not have that much stuff, I was done in no time. Alaric had some things he was attending to. He said there was a problem at his clothes shop. I asked what it was and he said there was some kind of riot at the blood drive beside it. He left and I was reading the last Bridgerton book. While reading, I heard Blake’s message. I replied him immediately. I had missed him so much. After we finished our conversation, I was livid. Riot my ass. I could not believe he kidnapped my twin brother. Actually, I can believe it. He is basically evil incarnate. It was time for lunch and I made my way down to the dining room. Alaric was waiting for me. He had cooked lunch, he wante
I stared at Alaric as he knelt down before me with what was clearly an engagement ring in his hands. I could not say anything. Even if I could, I did not know what to say. I knew he would propose to me soon, but I did not know he would propose the very next morning. I guess I owe Blake two dates of his choice. We made a bet that Alaric would propose to me after I told him that I was waiting to have sex till I get married to my mate. I had bet that he would wait two weeks or a month. Blake had bet that he would propose to me within the first week of me staying with him. I decide to say something to Alaric. “Alaric, what are you doing?” I ask him. His smile falters, “I am asking you to marry me. Do you not want to marry me?” he replies. I smile at him and respond, “No. That is not it at all. I am just worried that it is too fast. We have only known each other a week after all.”“I know baby, but I know the ti
After I got my snacks, I walked back to my room and settled in to watch a movie before I started reading the books I brought with me. I spend my day alternating between watching various romantic comedies and reading the mediator book series. I spend the day lazing about in my room and I do not come out until it is time for lunch. Alaric is out and I eat alone. I walk back to my room and continue watching movies and reading books. When night falls, I walk to the bathroom and draw up a bath. I put in some scented oils and bubbles. I walked out of my room to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of red wine and then a big ass wine glass. I walk back to my room and lock the door. I walk to my box and open the secret compartment. I take out my little toy and strip my clothes. I walk to the bathroom and step into the bath tub. I let myself relax in the tub and pour a glass of wine for myself. I take a swig from the glass and turned on my toy. I started playing with myself while t
I woke up the next morning to my alarm screaming at me. It was so loud that I thought my eardrums were going to explode at the very next second, grumbling against my pillow.I contemplated on ignoring it or just going back to sleep after attending to it I finally chose an option that I did not thought of before I checked the time and it was six o’clock. A little bit of relief came to a sigh on my lips. I thought that I had overslept for a moment considering all the time I had procrastinated before coming to check the clock and so I stretched my hand and I turned off the alarm and sat up from bed. It was so early and my stomach was already growling, I couldn't imagine how hungry I was and so I needed to get ready for breakfast…I was craving something easy like cereal because I was already starving a lot.&nb
I couldn't contain my excitement as I reunited with my family, feeling the warmth and love radiating in the air. We gathered in the cozy living room, enveloped in laughter and joy. Embracing my parents tightly, I soaked in the comforting familiarity of their presence. It had been far too long since we were all together.Seated on plush sofas, we began sharing stories, eagerly catching up on the events that had unfolded during our time apart. My father animatedly recounted his latest adventures in his workshop, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm."You should have seen the intricate clock I crafted," he said, a gleam of pride in his voice. "Every cog and gear working in perfect harmony. It's a testament to the beauty of precision."My mother chimed in; her voice filled with admiration. "And your garden, dear. It has flourished under your loving care. The roses have bloomed like never before."As the conversation continued, I listened intently, cherishing every word as it painted a vivid
She'd grown up without parents or a loving family, and though she'd managed to make some friends here in The City, she was far too lonely for her own good. He had never known any other woman who felt the way he did when he first laid eyes on her, and if this was their only chance at happiness together, then Alaric would not pass it by without making it count. He knew she liked men - he'd caught her eyeing up a few of them on occasion - and he hoped that once they got past the awkward stage of 'letting their feelings show', this could be a relationship where he wouldn't have to worry about disappointing her. There were so many things about Luna that made Alaric's chest feel tight and warm inside. Her smile, the sound of her voice, even the way she smelled. It all left him feeling so… so… "And besides," said Luna, smiling back at him with an impish look in her eyes. "Who wants a boyfriend who makes their job a nightmare?"They both chuckled, but neither could resist looking down at th
They sat there for a moment. The only sounds in the room were their quiet breaths. Their footsteps echoing softly throughout the empty restroom. The ticking of the grandfather clock somewhere far away in the distance. They listened to its rhythm until Luna pulled back, resting her head on his shoulder again. Alaric looked down, catching sight of the bracelet she wore around her wrist. A simple silver band with tiny white flowers embroidered onto it. It reminded him of the sunflower bracelet his grandmother had given him when he was younger. He smiled faintly at the memory, running his thumb across the band. "It's funny. Before Mom died, she bought me this bracelet, too," Alaric murmured, his fingers tracing the delicate patterns on the bracelet lightly. "The sunflower represents hope…" he mumbled. Luna lifted her head, her eyebrows knitted together as she looked at him in confusion."Hope?" she questioned. Alaric shook his head slightly, smiling weakly. "Yeah." He paused, trying to f
So, I had stayed inside, curled up in my blankets, trying desperately to distract myself with a book. However, it proved to be useless, and I ended up spending most of the afternoon watching TV in silence, occasionally sipping an occasional cup of coffee when I was bored. It had started raining halfway through my fourth cup of coffee, and the raindrops were falling onto the windowsill as I sat huddled underneath my covers, my knees pulled up to my chest and my arms wrapped tightly around my legs. A few minutes later, the front door swung open, and a mixture of anticipation and apprehension filled the air. My heart skipped a beat as I sat up, hoping it was him, hoping for a chance to reconnect. But as I heard the loud clattering noise, my hope turned to confusion, and I couldn't help but follow the sound."Dad!"The word escaped my lips before I could stop it, a combination of surprise and uncertainty. There he was, my father, walking further into the house, his presence stirring up a
As we stood there, disoriented and shaken, a distant sound caught our attention. The rumble of an approaching vehicle grew louder, filling us with a glimmer of hope.Within moments, headlights illuminated the darkened road, revealing the figure of a passerby. A kind stranger had stumbled upon our wreckage, offering a helping hand in our time of need.As the headlights grew brighter, casting a glow upon the wreckage, a wave of relief washed over us. The stranger approached with cautious steps; his concern evident in his eyes. It was Blake."Blake?" I murmured in disbelief, my voice barely above a whisper. I couldn't believe the twist of fate that had brought him to our side in this moment of desperation. He nodded, a mixture of surprise and concern crossing his face. "Luna, Alaric, what happened? Are you both alright?"Alaric, still recovering from the impact, managed a weak nod. "We were in an accident. The car crashed, and we need help."Blake immediately sprang into action, his quic
I was happy for this time I had, I used it to have another meeting with my family members, the idea was to find a solution to the vampires problem, I met and urge with those who I could to assist while sending a message to others to help before there is a shortage. The feed back was more than pleasant, we had more and more volunteers and all their blood work came out clean, before long the vampires had their kingdom in check, everyone who was poisoned with the bad batch were in no time cleared, Alaric on the other hand barely called and seemed to be very busy, I knew he was recovering and possibly scheming, but I was happy provided it was all rhetorical and whatever plan he might make possible was all faulted by us. Alaric came back after three days visiting his “mother”He drove into the compound and got out of his vehicle I rushed to him and hugged him tightly “Babeeeee! I have so missed you sooo much” I said as I pecked him He smiled sweetly at me“So how is your mum now?” I a
I woke up to the sound of Alaric voice, he was singing out loud and cheerfully as if he had won the lottery, I knew he believed he was winning in this silent battle he was having with me and my family but I knew he was in for a rude awakening I also perceived the nice aroma of breakfast, what ever he was cooking was definitely going to be very delicious He was cooking for me again I noticedHe really can be romantic but I smiled as I knew it was all a ruse, this was all a front to deceive and manipulate me but I was willing to allow him take advantage of me if this is his method of doing it. Alaric feels he is playing me whist it is the other way around, I want him as distracted as possible so he would not know how time flies. I could already smell from my room that he was cooking and that it was going to be delicious. There was a time I was worried about his food, worried that he might poison me or try to control meI was not really concerned about the control or him taking my
I knew past day I have given all my time to Blake because of how much I missed him, i know before Alaric comes for me I need to have a private meeting with all my family members, I knew this could possibly be our last moment together before the inevitable happens so I need to be sure everyone was on the same page. I made a mental connection to everyone I could, that we should meet in the dining room alone to go over our plan. I remove what I wore to bed and walk to the bathroom. I stand at the sink and brush my teeth. When I am done, I step into the shower and turn on the tap. I wash my hair and when I am done with washing my hair, I start washing my body. I finish with my shower and dry my body with my towel. When I finish, I wrap the towel around my hair so it can dry. I leave the bathroom and walk to the vanity. When I get there, I plug in my hair dryer and start blow drying my hair. Once I am done with drying my hair, I put on hairspray and I style my hair. I brush my hair until
