Gianna’s POV

I slipped out of the room as quietly as possible, carefully closing the door behind me. Kate stirred slightly but settled again when I tucked the blanket around her. My heart twisted at how peaceful they looked, oblivious to everything that had unfolded.

The scent of food hit me as soon as I stepped into the hallway … eggs, something savory, and a faint hint of coffee. My stomach growled reminding me I hadn’t eaten since before everything went to hell.

When I reached the kitchen, I froze in place. I should have expected the sight before me. Really. I was almost used to it two years ago. Damn. I can’t believe it’s been that long either!

King stood at the stove, his back to me and very much shirtless.

The muscles in his back rippled with every movement as he flipped the eggs, the light from the window casting shadows over the sharp planes of his body. Had he grown bigger or was it my eyes?

I hated that my eyes lingered.

And that new tattoo… black ink curled over his l

King’s POVThe sound of laughter floated through the window, clear and bright but when I glanced outside, my gaze didn’t land on the kids. It landed on her. Like it always does even though I wasn’t searching for her. Gianna sat in the grass watching Kayden chase Kate around the small patch of wildflowers they’d found earlier. From a distance she looked like she was part of the scene, like she belonged in the calm, fleeting joy of the moment. But I could see it. Her fingers fidgeted with a blade of grass she’d plucked. Her shoulders, though relaxed to the untrained eye, were tense beneath the surface. Her smile was soft but fleeting and it didn’t reach her eyes. Her mind was somewhere else. Somewhere very far away too. I could feel it, even from here. She was worried. Angry. Tired. And though she tried to hide it, I knew her well enough to recognize the cracks in her mask. She was thinking about me. About why I’d brought her back. About what all of this meant. As if she did

Gianna’s POVFinding Blair wasn’t hard. She was practically vibrating with anger and frustration, her energy thick and suffocating making everyone steer clear as I entered the pack house. This was my first time inside the pack house. I usually summon her with a stone but she wasn’t feeling good I had to come in. The judgmental eyes followed. She was in one of the communal areas pacing like a caged animal. Her hair was tied back in a messy bun, and she kept yanking at it as though trying to tear it from her scalp. I knew that look. “Don’t even think about it,” I said as I approached, my voice calm but firm. Blair whipped around, her glare sharp enough to cut. “Don’t think about what?” “Chopping your hair off again.” I raised a knowing brow at her. Her lips pressed into a thin line and for a moment, I thought she might explode. Then she crossed her arms and looked away. She never wanted to look weak no matter what. “Why not? It’s mine, and I hate it anyway. They all make fun

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   53: Sinking feeling

Gianna’s POVI curled on the bed, wrapping the blanket tightly around myself trying to drown out the faint sounds of Kate and Kayden wreaking havoc somewhere downstairs. If King wanted us here so badly, he’d have to deal with everything that came with us. That included two unruly kids who had no intention of sparing his sanity. Good. I didn’t even want them to behave. If anything, I was rooting for them to break something valuable. Let him regret dragging us here. Every single second of it too. The room felt too quiet, though. Too still. I sat up, sighing and decided to make myself some creamy coffee. Maybe a hot drink and the book Zoya had lent me would help me calm the storm in my head. I padded barefoot to the small kitchenette and took my time brewing the coffee, savoring the warm, sweet aroma that filled the space. One thing about this place, there is always something to enjoy! As I poured it into a mug, ready to escape back to my window and my book I heard footsteps behind

Gianna’s POvI jerked awake to the sound of groaning. My heart, already racing from the deep pull of a restless dream slammed hard against my ribs. Kayden. My eyes snapped open and there he was, clutching his stomach and whimpering in the dim light filtering through the curtains. Worry gripped me so fiercely I was on my feet before my mind could fully process what was happening. “Kayden?” I whispered, rushing to his side. “Mama…” His voice was weak, almost broken and I felt my knees give out as I dropped to the bed beside him, pressing my hand against his forehead. He was burning up. “Kayden!” Kate’s tiny voice trembled as she stirred awake beside me. Her wide, sleepy eyes darted to her brother, and when she saw his pain her face crumpled. “What’s wrong with Kayden? Mama, what’s wrong?” Her voice cracked as tears spilled down her cheeks and my panic only deepened. I really do not need this right now. “Shh, baby, it’s okay,” I tried to soothe her but my shaking hands an

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   55: A moment?

Gianna’s POVThe hut was eerily silent, the kind of quiet that made you feel small and exposed even when you were surrounded by walls. I tucked Kate into a small bed at the far corner of the room, her little face still tear-streaked but peaceful now. Her tiny hand gripped my finger even in sleep and I stared at her for a moment, brushing her hair back softly willing myself not to cry again. I couldn’t fall apart. Not now. The older woman and her assistants had disappeared somewhere, likely into the back offices I hadn’t noticed before. The hut was bigger than it seemed. Way bigger than a normal hut. Was this their hospital in the pack by any chance? Or exclusive one meant for the Alpha and his circle? Kayden’s shallow breaths from across the room filled the silence, a painful reminder of why we were here. I couldn’t stay in that room a second longer. The walls felt like they were closing in on me, suffocating me with every sound and every fear clawing at my chest. This is all to

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   56: A king

Gianna’s POVThe morning sunlight seeped through the large window casting a soft and golden glow over the room. I blinked myself awake bracing for the tension that had been my companion for the past two days but instead, I was greeted by a sound I hadn’t heard in what felt like ages when it was less than twenty four hours. Laughter. Kayden’s laughter. My heart squeezed as I turned to see him sitting up in bed, his cheeks flushed and his eyes sparkling as he giggled uncontrollably at something Kate had said. To think these kids are just two years old really. She was sprawled next to him, her own peals of laughter ringing out like tiny little bells. They were so carefree, so utterly themselves and for a moment, it felt like the weight of the world had lifted. Cause half of it had lifted. “Mommy!” Kayden called out when he noticed me awake. His voice was strong, happy, and it took everything in me not to start crying again. “I had the best dream last night!” “What did you dre

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   57: Eavesdropping the nerd

Gianna’s POVI dried my hands on a towel after bathing the children smoothing Kate’s damp hair as she yawned and snuggled closer to Kayden. They were out within moments, breaths soft and even. Watching them always tugged at something deep in me. A mixture of fierce love and guilt I couldn’t shake since we found ourselves back here. I pressed a kiss to each of their foreheads before slipping out of the room. The night air hit me like a balm, cool and crisp agasint my burning skin and yep, heart too. My wolf stirred, eager to stretch her legs. I didn’t fight her. I stripped down, tying my clothes around one of my legs just in case, and shifted with practiced ease. It’s been a minute. My fur was dark and unremarkable compared to the silvery coat of someone like Catherine. Catherine. The thought of her nagged at me, unbidden and unwelcome. Where was she now? She had been so confident, practically glowing as she declared herself the future mother of King’s heirs. Rubbing it on my fac

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   58: Fall apart

Gianna’s POVThe cabin was dead quiet when I stepped back inside, my bare feet making no sound against the wooden floor. My heart pounded from the cold air that had nipped at my skin all the way back, but the embarrassment of what I had endured dulled its sting. Somewhere along the way, the pants I’d tied to my leg in preparation for my shift had fallen off, leaving me to walk back in nothing but a T-shirt that barely covered my butt. Thank goodness it was late. At least the kids were asleep. I didn’t have to explain why their mother looked like she’d just escaped the wilderness. But I did escape the wilderness just not how I was supposed to. I spotted King’s coat draped over a chair near the foyer and didn’t hesitate to take it. The thick material enveloped me like a cocoon, heavy and warm, and his scent was musky, utterly masculine, hit me instantly. It was dizzying almost intoxicating to be honest. What a man. I swallowed hard and clutched it tighter as I moved to the couch.Si

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   148: Breaking point

Gianna’s POVI watched them walk away. Their backs were rigid, their steps quick and full of fury. Each of them was retreating in their own way Kane with that eerie, dangerous silence and Klaus radiating pure rage and Keith, the one who always wavered, glancing back for a fraction of a second before clenching his fists and following his brothers. A cold emptiness spread inside me. I should have felt relief that they were leaving. But I didn’t. Instead, my chest was tight, my pulse erratic, my body itching to chase after them and make them listen to scream at them, to force them to understand the chaos they had thrown me into, to fix what they broke before it shattered beyond repair. I turned to King. And in that moment, I hated him. The words tore from my lips, raw and venomous. "I hate you." His expression didn't change, but something flickered in his eyes something deep, something unreadable. He didn’t argue, didn’t defend himself. He simply stood there watching me with

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   147: Not over

Gianna’s POVSilence stretched between us and it is thick and suffocating which was only broken by the sound of my own heartbeat pounding in my ears. Or maybe it was just blood rushing to everywhere in my body. Really, this is all happening so fast. King stood in front of me, unbothered, his stance relaxed like this wasn’t the beginning of something disastrous. His golden eyes flickered with something dark and something amused as he stared at my mates who were now seething. Klaus took another step into the room, his stormy grey gaze locked onto my throat onto the mark King had left there. His expressin twisted with something savage, something feral and then his lips curled back into a snarl. “What the fuck did you do?” Keith’s breathing was harsh, his fingers twitching at his sides as though he was seconds away from lunging. Kane, on the other hand was too still, his gaze was cold as steel, his jaw clenched so tightly it looked painful. I swallowed hard, my body rigid. King

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   146: Pack’s finding

Gianna’s POVI didn’t know how long I sat there, frozen in the wake of his words. His brothers. King was their brother and they have no freaking idea but how and when and what???The room was silent but my head was filled with noise. Thoughts crashing against each other, a storm of disbelief, fury, and something far worse something I refused to name. He hadn’t moved. He was watching me, waiting, gauging my reaction like he already knew what was coming. “You’re lying.” It wasn’t a question. It was a desperate plea. A muscle in his jaw twitched but his face remained unreadable. “I’m not.” I let out a shaky breath, trying to piece together the reality I had somehow missed. “That’s not…” I swallowed hard. “That’s not possible.” King tilted his head, his expression cold, indifferent but the tension in his shoulders told me otherwise. “It’s the truth.” “No.” My voice cracked. “No, if that were true, they would have known. I would have known.” His lips curled into something

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   145: Shocking news

Gianna’s POVI woke up to warmth. I don't want to leave because it’s so comfortable. Heat surrounded me, seeping into my bones and wrapping around my limbs like an unrelenting cage. My skin prickled, my body slowly pulling itself from the haze of sleep but something was off. A shiver ran down my spine. There it was again. The warmth. The heat. But this time, it wasn’t just around me it was on me. Soft. Lingering. Wet. And they are Lips. My breath hitched, my lashes fluttering, but I couldn’t move. My body refused to obey as I lay there, rigid, barely breathing. I felt them again brushing over my skin, slow and unhurried, tracing the mark he had left. King. I swallowed hard, my throat tightening. Another kiss. This one firmer as if savoring and as if claiming. I couldn’t suppress the way my body reacted, how my stomach twisted into knots, how warmth pooled low in my belly. A moan slipped past my lips before I could stop it. And then he stopped. The warmth vanished. I b

King’s POV I pull them out just as I feel her clench harder. No way is she coming on my hand. Bending her at the waist, I push my pants and boxers lower and take out my angry dick. The head red with an intense need to fuck like I’ve been wanting to do all night. It was torture knowing she was bare underneath her dress and I couldn’t fill her.I step between her thighs and spread them wider with my legs, her sexy toes glinting in the dark. She still has her hands keeping herself open even though I can sense her nervousness beneath her false bravado. The first time I was gentle, slow but I know she doesn’t want that now.Tonight, she wants to be owned. Our sighs of pleasure are mutual when I dip my cock between her wet folds, lubricating my shaft with her juices. The red crown presses against her clit and I slap it with my tip, making her moan loudly.“Fuck, Gianna. So wet.” I trace her up and down. “So soft.” I push just the head in her cunt. “And tight.”Her walls clench around me

  • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   143: More Gianna

King’s POVNever in the last months did I think I’ll have my beautiful Gianna in my arms again. Naked. Bent over. Begging for my cock in her tight ass. I keep her face tilted forward and trace the back of my knuckle down her spine to her red ass cheek. Her body trembles beneath mine and she shudders violently when I slide my finger between her cheeks to her tiny rosebud. Circling it slowly, I dip my digit lower to her dripping cunt and swirl it in her wetness before rubbing her asshole again. She’s clenched so tight that I’m afraid I’ll come as soon as I push inside.“Spread your ass cheeks,” I growl. “Show me where I’m going to put my cock in.”“Oh god.” She moaned so loudly my dick jumped at the sound. “God isn’t making you sin, Gianna.” I slap her pussy, making her moan. “I am. So it better be my name you scream from those lips.”“King!” She cries out when I pinch her clit. Once. Twice. Her moans turn ragged. I lean over her body and push my wet finger in her mouth, effectively

Cool air caresses my naked back but the heat from king’s skin keeps me warm and his kisses leave me drowning that I almost forget about the oblivious audience. • The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker   140: Never letting go

King’s POVI realized with deep regret that I couldn’t let her leave. Not like this. There is just something about Gianna that I cannot stay away from. Even knowing she was pregnant for some men out there. My mortal enemies. Not when she had just told me something that shattered every last piece of control I had left. Not when I had just learned that she had carried their children and another inside her and yet still stood before me, looking like she belonged to me. The moment she turned, I moved. My body acted before my mind could catch up before logic or reason could step in and tell me to let her go. My hand shout out, grabbing her wrist and yanking her back so hard she gasped, stumbling into my chest. I felt the sharp inhale she took, felt the way her body tensed at the sudden proximity and at the force of my grip and for a second just a second uncertainty flashed in her eyes. With something I used to relish. Fear. But something else was there too. Something wild. Something
