Chapter 2

ROSALIND'S P.O.V.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I packed my things into a suitcase, but where was I going? The question hit me like tons of blocks as I fell to the ground.

My foster parents died two years ago in a car crash, I only had Mace left and now, he is no longer mine anymore. Hugging myself as I pulled my legs up, I sobbed quietly not having a damn idea of what I was meant to do. 

A knock on the door caught my attention, but I didn't get up, I wanted to be left alone in here, but I knew too well that I couldn't stay in here any longer, the woods might be my home until I get to civilization.

Humans and werewolves don't collide, I was never meant to be here in the first place. I walked towards the bathroom and freshened up before packing the rest of my things and I took the briefcase out.

I might own numerous things, but I would rather not carry any load, it was a going to be a long dangerous journey, opening the door, I was stunned to see Mace standing there and he looked at me with blank emotions.

“What do you want?” My voice sounded cracked and I wiped the tears that threatened to fall. 

“Here's a copy of the divorce and your…"

“I don't want anything from you. The papers are just papers I could easily tear into pieces and…"

“But you won't because it's important." I collected the paper from him and tore it into two before throwing it in his face and I walked past me, but he pulled me back and pinned me against the wall. “... Don't you dare disrespect me in this matter” He growled with his eyes glowing red in anger, 

“You mean nothing to me, why should I care about your rank or give you respect that you clearly don't deserve.” He slapped me hard across the face, which made my nose bleed.

“You might have been my queen for five years, but that gives you no right to speak to me that way.” He threw me to the ground so hard that my elbow broke, making me scream in pain. “Get out! I would rather not see you or any of your species in my Kingdom again.” He kicked me and I fell downstairs. 

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I cried heavily due to the immense maid and Anne tried to reach out to me.

“Anyone who dares to touch her or any human will be sentenced to penalty." I shook my head for her not to help me and I could see how helpless she was.

Anne has been a good friend, even if occasionally we behaved like Queen and servant, we were always there for one another which we needed someone to talk to. I used my second hand as a support to stand up, and I grabbed my suitcase before heading out of the house and out of the pack.

“Queen Luna?” Felix questioned the moment he saw me and wanted to take the suitcase away, but I stopped him.

“He is watching.” He furrowed his eyebrows confused “... I am no more your Queen, Mace is watching. Stand on your post, please.” He looked at me before moving back to his post and he watched me leave.

“But Queen…"

“I am no longer your Queen Felix, but take care of your next Queen like you took care of me and this pack as well." I walked away from the pack and my heart tore into pieces and I breathed harder with every step I took.

I had made this place my home, and now I had to say goodbye to it. I looked at the pack one more time as I tied my broken hand to my neck before heading towards the closest path to the human world.

“What do we have here?” I heard a familiar voice as I woke up from sleep and my eyes widened as I saw Thanos.

“Leave me alone.” I mumbled as I showed no fear of him, and he laughed. I looked around carefully and noticed he wasn't alone, two of his men were with him. I needed to think fast.

“What is the Queen Luna doing here all alone?”

“I said leave me alone!” I pushed him away from my face with my leg, and he growled at me, without thinking, he launched towards me, and I picked up a huge wood in the fire I built and mashed him with it. 

I pointed the woods towards both wolves, and they moved back, I might be a human but training with werewolves in the past five years really came in handy and they hated fire.

“You little bitch!” He growled as he pounced on me and used the wood to tear his flesh open and hit him so hard with fire making him burn.

I ran into the woods as fast as I could while one of the two wolves chased me down. I was close, I could hear the sounds of cars and people getting close, but I didn't stop running as the wolf was in my tail.

I jumped into the road knowing he wasn't going to come out of the woods but as I turned a bright light flashed against my eyes and I felt something hit me on the side, making me lose the balance of my legs and the last thing I saw was an unfamiliar woman.

“Who is she?”

“I… I have no idea, she jumped out of the woods and got hit by my car, is she going to be alright?” 

“She's surprisingly fine, she has no injuries, she passed out of shock.” Unfamiliar voices tower over my head and I felt so confused as to what was going on. 

Opening my eyes, I hissed due to the pain and all three women turned towards me in shock.

“Where the hell am I?” I mumbled as I cried to get off the bed, but she stopped me.

“Hold on, you can't be moving.”

“It's my body you can't tell me what to do, where the hell am I?” I felt dizzy as I stood up and immediately sat down.

“You got hit by a car a few hours ago, it's a miracle that you and your baby survived.”

“Baby?”

“You're pregnant ma'am.”

“That's impossible.”
