CHAPTER 27

There was a low throbbing at the base of my skull. I tried to open my eyes but it hurt even more. I rolled onto my back, the sheets tangling around my legs. It felt so hot....my body was soaking the sheets.

I opened one eye, and I saw a table. A very unfamiliar table pushed at the end of the wall. Where was this? This wasn't my room. I sat up abruptly, opening my two eyes and looking around the room. This wasn't my room either.

I saw a figure from my peripheral view and turned fully to the right. There was someone in bed with me, his hair covering a part of his face. But from the way my body awakened just by staring at him, I knew it was King Tyron.
