“Are you going to wear that?” Xavier asked, with his eyes already scanning over Mia’s dress. It was a fitted emerald gown that held all her curves and showcase her natural asset.

“Yeah, you chose it. You don’t like it anymore?”

“I love it, which is the problem.” His eyes scanned her from head to toe and then stopped over her exposed cleavage. Lust flashed over his eyes, and he bit his button lips and dragged his gaze away.

“To give the announcement to my father at dinner, I need to have a focused head. With you dressed so seductively, I fear I might not keep a clear head. This isn’t your fault. You just have a very gorgeous body and your curves kill me every time,” he explained, placing his head against the wardrobe door.

The feast tonight was a small one. Xavier intended to reveal his intent to remarry his wife, his father, and the elders at the feast. The marriage ceremony was two weeks away and informing these rulers and his father would make the process go faster and well. It’s also been a while since the capital had such a ceremony and this was a step in the right direction.

He turned his head to take a peep at Mia and found her holding down laughter.

“You’re laughing at me, great!”

“Not at you, but at the situation. You look enticing with your choice of clothes, my king, but you don’t see me asking you to go change.”

“Well, it’s because you’ve got something called control. I don’t have that around you. Edward told me the same.”

“You have a problem, my king.” she teased.

He rolled his eyes, and his cheeks heated. “You’re my problem, my Queen,” he took a step towards her and she backed away in the same instant.

A dark smirk curled up on his lips, seeing how affected she was by him. She saw the mischievous look and her throat ran dry.

“Your father, the elders, your brother and all the other nobles are waiting for us at the palace hall,” she informed him.

His eyes fluttered, and he groaned in frustration, “Fine, shall we go?” he held out an elbow and she took it.

They mingled with the few guests in the hall, greeting and exchanging pleasantries. They get to Robb who stood with Alpha Koz and Edward and they exchanged a very formal greeting with them. Robb reached for a golden goblet of wine from the male server’s tray and took it. He nudged it towards the king and queen before taking a sip.

“I have to say you look gorgeous tonight my queen, I hope the king had told you that already,” Edward spoke up his eyes holding adoration.

She beamed and nodded at him. “Yes, he has. A few times.”

“We received invitations to dine with the king today. Is there an occasion we should celebrate?” alpha Koz asked with an interested tone.

Everyone gathered did not know why they came. The only ones who did were Edward, his wife, and himself.

“We will get to that shortly. For now, drink and make yourself feel comfortable.”

The guests did as they were told and Xavier and Mia moved through the crowd, meeting and greeting those present. Mia, as usually kept her natural charm impressing everyone and making them smile and feel welcome.

“Where are you dragging me to?” she demanded, almost failing to keep in line with Xavier’s fast pace.

“I told you I wouldn’t make it through the night in one piece. You being cute isn’t helping either,” he ground out.

“I have to. This is a happy meeting. The elders are here, your father, and brother even the nobles. It’s in my duties to be charming.”

They took the corner that led to her chamber and Xavier pushed her to the wall so that her back flattened against it. Her breath was laboured for walking so fast just to keep up with him, and her lips parted to accommodate a further intake of air.

The sight, however, triggered Xavier and desire flared in his eyes. He stepped closer to her so that the breath of his nostril descended on her exposed neck and caused a shudder within her. She didn’t break the gaze, not when his darkened gaze brewed with desires he needed to fulfil.

His hand came to trail her exposed shoulder blade, going around her neck and moving to finish the tail on the other. Goosebumps broke on her skin in response and she shuddered. “You don’t know what you do to me, how fucking insane you make me go, my sweet, sweet darling.”

Mia’s legs grew weak and her nipples were straining against her dress and creating a perfect sign of how affected his actions made her... She wanted him, but she had to remind herself that they weren’t the only ones around. They had guests that came to celebrate with them in the hall and some could wander in and see them while they were caught in an intimate moment.

“Our guests...” she began with the excuse she wanted to give.

“Are too busy in the hall to even know we left.” He leaned in and placed an opened-mouthed kiss on her forehead, down her nose and her lips. His tongue came to play on her lips, slipping into her mouth and getting the intoxicating taste of it.

“Xavier...” she moaned into his mouth, her hips arching to press against him and she felt him there, hard and throbbing, needing as much attention as he was giving her.

He grabbed a hand full of her dress and lifted it above her thigh and his hand sank into the skin of her flesh.

Her breath hitched and her hands took hold of his and she broke the kiss to stare at him with wide eyes. Alarmed at what he was about to do out here while their guests were not so far away.

“We could get caught,” she said, panic still lingering in her eyes as she said this.

“You have ridden me out in the rain, the fountain, and also at the temple. We were never alone during those times. I don’t think there’s any difference,” he smirked.

Her eyes fluttered, the memories of the many escapades they had engaged in the last five summers rushing back into her head.

“You’re not helping,” she groaned.

“I never intended to, my love.” he captured her lips in his, kissing back her other arguments down her throat. His hand took hold of hers, which prevented him from touching her thigh. He pried it away and held both her hands over her head.

He pulled away from the kiss with a smile on his face, seeing how her hips tried to find friction by rubbing against his cock, which had made him harder than before.

“I told you I won’t keep a steady head, especially in his dress of yours.” he rubbed his thumb over her nipples and they turned rock hard underneath her dress. “See how much you want this?”

Mia pressed her head against the wall, and her eyes fluttered with pure pleasure in his hands.

He pulls down the covering of her dress and her breast spill forward into his awaiting palm, “You don’t care, do you my darling? If someone was to walk in on us, as long as I got you like this.”

She moaned, unable to respond.

“Say it, I want to hear it.”

“I don’t care.” She arched her hip, rubbing it against him and picking the pace. Thank goodness for the walls of the palace, which concealed the voices and noises in their various corners. If they didn’t exist, the guests would have known what was happening between them already.

“Fuck, it’s so hot when you lose control for me, my queen, like this.” he slipped his hand up her thigh and his fingers cupped her dripping core. “So wet, for me.”

She wanted him to take her. She wouldn’t make it if he teased her. “Xavier.”

“Yes, my love?” he asked, curling his thumb over her bud and his palm kept cupping her.

“More.”

At her plea, he slip two fingers into her and her lips parted to let out a laboured moan. She was so perfect it hurt to look at her, but he couldn’t look away.

Neither of them cared if they were seen. All the care was pleasing each other and getting pleased.

He picked the pace, his fingers getting wetter and wetter with every thrust. His cock was pulsing and throbbing painfully in his trousers, and he needed to set it free. He needed to be in her, deep in her, and have her warmth and wetness cover him.

Reading his thought, she reached for his trousers to unbutton them. Her hands trembled as she unbuttoned them one after the other while being pleasured by him.

He twirled his finger in her, and she lost focus. He saw her struggle, and he quickly moved to remedy it by undoing his trousers by himself. He reached in and pulled out his hard cock smeared with his pre-cum.

He kissed her dry lips, wetting them up with his tongue, and withdrew his fingers from inside her. He lifted her so she could wrap her legs around him and not long after; he filled her up with his thickness. They both moaned out in pleasure, alive more than ever before. He nipped at her neck, leaving kisses and bites there would tell whoever saw it that he just took her.

He picked up the pace, thrusting in and out of her at a raging speed. She was weeping and clinging to him while begging him to keep going.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, but he took hold of them and held them on the wall over her head. He loved her this way, trapped and without control, leaving herself to his care and guidance.

She gasped when he brushed past her spot, and her eyes fluttered. “I’m close!” she panted, her voice wrecked and barely audible.

He leaned in and licked over her face before kissing the side of her mouth and picking up the pace. A couple more thrust and she fell from the heights. He thrust in and out of her hard and fast to get his own release. Her walls clenched hard on him in sensitivity and that made his cock writhe in her and his balls became heavier.

His release was a few seconds away, and he tried pulling out, but Mia tightened her legs around him. “I want you in me.”

He did as he was told, letting go and releasing his seeds in her until none was left.

He kissed her lips harder as he pulled out and set her down on her feet. He helped adjust her dress, and she slipped her hand through.

“I told you no one would interrupt us,” he said in a coy tone, trying to catch his breath.

She wanted to glare at him, but she could not bring herself to. She loved every bit of what they just shared, as wild and edgy as it was. She loved the man she shared the moment with and she looked forward to their next wild adventure.

She pulled him closer and kissed his lips.

“There you are!” Edward called out and walked over to them.

They pulled away and turned to him. “You two invited guests and then disappeared to go kiss and make out.”

Xavier and Mia shared a guilty look before turning to Edward, who hadn’t finished his ranting. “Now I’m left pacifying and telling them you went to get an oasis.”

“What’s an oasis?” Mia asked with a furrowed brow.

He shrugged, “I don’t know, I saw it in a book and good thing they didn’t think to ask either. It sounded like a great excuse to give.”

“Oh,” she felt guilty for putting Edward through such an ordeal, but Xavier didn’t.

“Yeah, and what is that smell on both of you?”

“The smell of desire?” Xavier asked cockily.

Edward rolled his eyes at him and turned to Mia, who still held a look of guilt on her face. His eyes glided down her neck and he saw the love bites on a few spots, which weren’t there before. “Don’t tell me he turned you into that woman as well!”

Xavier pulled her closer to himself, and her body pressed against his. “What woman? A woman that can’t get enough of her man and loves to have him every chance she gets?”

“Yes!” he answered.

He scoffed, “She’s been married to me for five summers, at this point, she already is.”

Mia’s cheeks were so hot she feared they would explode. “Shut up, both of you.” she smacked Xavier on the chest. “This is all your fault. You brought me here.”

“Ouch,” he placed a hand on his chest, faking being hurt by her words.

Edward turned and walked away from them.

Mia turned to Xavier with gratitude in her eyes. “Thank you for that. I needed it.”

“Not enough to make you admit it before, Edward. It’s fine, I’m the bad guy, I’ll be your bad guy,” he whispered hoarsely into her ear.

They returned to the palace hall with their arms around each other. Xavier proceeded to announce their plans for marriage. He told them the wedding would be in two weeks, but unlike their first, this would be smaller.

The guests cheered and applauded, showing their support for their king and queen, and Mia couldn’t be happier.

The wind blew over Mia’s face and her paws dug into the ground as she sprinted through the woods. The dry leaves on the ground made a shrieking sound as her paws threaded on them. Blood coursed through her veins, and her heart hammered loudly. She felt alive more than ever. She and the king had detached themselves from the pack of wolves that had shifted and raced into the woods after howling and hunting together. She was much aware of her environment. She had run through these paths after shifting in the last few summers along with her mate, king Xavier. Just like those other times, he was racing beside her and every time with him felt like the first time to her. Excitement rushed through her and she could hear his sprinting heartbeat and it matched hers as they raced toward the much quieter and desolate part of the woods. She was almost at the first part of the segregated point of the woods when Xavier bumped into her and she slowed down, knowing what was about to take place. S

Xavier brushed his hand over his long golden coat, which he wore on his white long sleeve tucked into his black trousers, which he had underneath the coat. He stared at himself one more time in the mirror. He wanted to look perfect today because he knew his queen would want that. She also always looks perfect, and he wanted to match her energy. He had to stay in another room last night. It was Mia’s previous chamber from five summers ago. She insisted he moved out so the dressmaker, hair and make-up artist could do their things freely. He didn’t have to be told twice before picking out his things for today. When he asked if he could place the guards around her door for protection, she laughed and told him she was Luna and could protect herself. She told him the kingdom was safer than ever and that everything would go well and he needed not to worry. He kissed her lips lovingly before leaving the room. He had looked forward to today. Edward sat on one stair that let up the throne sit, while Xavier paced around the throne room aimlessly. His body shook violently, and he tried to control and calm himself physically. He didn’t dare attempt to interfere with the war taking place in his head. That was worse. The ceremony ended as soon as Lord Jobe uttered those four nerve-racking words. Xavier left the temple and rode back home as fast as he could. His heart skipped with the thought of his queen being gone, and with every minute that passed, it increased. The first place he visited was Mia’s room, which looked untouched from what he saw. However, her golden wedding dress lay on the floor. It had been ripped to shreds and her golden jewellery lay on the floor as well. Along with her marital bracelet and her engagement ring.According to Jobe, there was no sign of forced entry or struggle, and the bride makers looked as clueless as he did on where she had gone to. Two weeks agoMia’s heart skipped in her chest as the royal bride maker turned her around so she could see herself in the mirror and appreciate what she saw.The golden robe was perfect and blended not only with her skin but her long braided red hair which fell over it, and this gave it an alluring look. She dragged a deep breath as she beheld herself. From her braided hair adorned with gold jewellery and chains and then down her neck and wrist. She wanted to say it was too much, but this was what the king wanted and she kept her complaints to herself.“I look amazing, thank you.” she smiled warmly at her.The older woman beamed. “You’re welcome, my queen.” She began arranging all her kits together. “We will head out to the Palace now. “If you’re truly hoping to find your wife and rescue her, then eating is one thing you will have to do,” Edward spoke as he stepped into the lower cabin of the ship, which was Xavier’s room. He spotted the untouched meal on the table at the corner of the room and Xavier stood beside the window, straining through it as if he could see the slave ship from there. After Edward caught the revelation about where Mia was, Xavier made plans to leave. He had thought about the best strategy to rescue the queen, but sending an army across the sea to fight and save her was foolishness. Not only would they die, but Mia’s life would also become a casualty of war. The kingdom of Foth had slaves broken and made into monsters for the army and there was no way Wahala soldiers would survive in an unknown territory as such. So he decided to leave on his own and asked if Edward could come along. They would infiltrate the kingdom, rescue the queen and be on their way, leaving no trace of their presence.

A month laterA lot has changed for Ace in the kingdom. Since finding out about his family and lineage, King Xavier has welcomed him into the family with open arms. He also inducted him into the council of elders, a decision that brought confusion to the council at first because the council of elders was made up of men of noble backgrounds with power and title and wasn’t occupied by commoners. Xavier later told them who he was and how he was the heir to the land and fortune of House Don, as Lady Iris never married. He told them he was the son of Iris Don, changed his name to Lord Ace of the House Don, and awarded him his birthright. With his mother being Iris Don, questions rose about whose son he was, and Xavier asked if he wanted the truth about his father known. Ace wasn’t ready to do that.
