Chapter 94

Rose’s ears were assaulted with the sound of heavy pattering, something sliding something and a splash that sounded as if a bomb went off next to her ear. Her head throbbed and She whimpered as more bombs went off making her flinch.

Her breathing was heavy and She felt as if something was leaving her and clouding her face. Something squeezed her hand making her look back at the sad angel. He looked so familiar, touch so familiar, eyes . . . her back tingled stronger.

“Why.."

She tried to croak out but she couldn't finish. Not when the tingling turned into a fierce stabbing. Not when the bottom of her spine suddenly broke making her back lift off the ground. She gave out a pain-filled scream that didn't seem to end until her lungs burned.

She screamed to the top of her lungs as the tingling that had turned into stabbing made its way up her spine slowly and painfully. Something made a sound next to her but she drowned them out with her wails.

The more her spine broke the harder her back
