OLIVIA'S POV

"What do you intend to do with the people shouting outside?" Esther asked and Leo let out a scoff.

"Why should I care? I'm about to become the most powerful in the world!"

I simply watched Esther and she caught my gaze. She knew exactly what I wanted.

She flickered her finger and a gasp escaped from Julian's lips and I could feel him again. A tear threatened to roll down my cheek but for some reason, it didn't come out.

Esther gave me a look. I knew what she meant.

I looked at Julian's face and prayed to the moon goddess for his well-being. He shouldn't have come... But I was glad enough that he was safe now.

"We should leave now," Esther informed and I walked toward her and Leo. I had made up my mind. As long as I went with them, Julian would be spared. Esther already proved it by reviving him. It wouldn't be fair if I asked for more.

Esther waved her fingers in front of her and a beam of light appeared.

She stepped into it first and disappeared into the beam of light. I

ALPHA KIAN'S POVTwo days ago at the party**I was having a drink over the counter when I suddenly sensed one of my people. Her scent filled my nostrils strong and hard which made me instinctively look for the scent and it led me to the door where Olivia was standing, her arm linked with an Alpha I recognized as Julian, Alpha Leo's brother. It took me everything to keep from scoffing. She was in a purple regal dress with her hair and makeup properly done. To be fair, she looked gorgeous. My eyes scooted to the mark right next to her collarbone. She was marked.A scoff escaped from my lips this time."Alpha," I heard a voice I recognized all too well. My beta."My brother, isn't that the woman you wanted to fuck?"I saw my beta as a brother even though he wasn't too sure about that.He followed my gaze and it landed on Olivia. I looked at his face to see his expression and as expected, he looked surprised.I smirked at his reaction and he looked at me with wide eyes. "Isn't that Olivia

ALPHA KIAN POVI looked into Ferno's eyes.It was enough.I couldn't let a monster like him tag around my beta for too long. My beta was soft even though he looked icy and he liked Ferno too, so I was going to help him.I channeled my wolf and let him take over. My teeth switched to that of my wolf and I snapped Ferno's neck before he could see me coming. His blood splattered over my mouth and face and I deepened my teeth into the veins of his neck. Then, he let out a final gasp and I let go of his neck and he dropped to the floor, lifeless. I took back control and watched Gillian sob as he neared his dead father. I understood if he loathed me. I wiped my lips and turned around to leave when I saw my beta staring at me with glazed eyes."Sorry," I blurted. When it came to my beta I was sometimes tongue-tied. Out of everyone in my pack, I didn't want him to hate me. My beta walked towards me or so I thought. He walked past me to Ferno who lay lifeless on the floor.I knew how close h

I opened my eyes to find myself in a dark room. Rubbing my eyes, I blinked a few times to adjust my eyes to the darkness of the room.I groaned, feeling a sharp pain shoot through my skull. I sighed, sitting up. The past few days flew into my head. The cave. The faerie. The revelations.I couldn't remember how I got here. I remembered hearing Olivia's screams as Leo beat me up and my blood started to boil. I could feel it tremble beneath my vines and my wolf started to growl."If they fucking hurt our mate, Julian. I would spill blood. I would rage hell on earth."My wolf's anger was slowly getting to me and I took in deep breaths. "You need to calm down. We can't afford to make irrational decisions due to anger. If we are going to find and save Olivia. We need to have a plan."My wolf scoffed, and I could feel him roll his eyes. I ignored him, looking over my body. I remembered Leo beating me up till I passed out, but my body was void of any injuries.Even with all our power, the wol

VANESSA'S POVOlivia was somewhere around Black Shrout the witch had said. I didn't ask for specifics because I didn't want to get into any more trouble or debt with the witch before seeing Olivia.Everyone in the supernatural realm knew the witches were unreliable and untrustworthy, if you got into debt with them, you would have to pay it back with your life or the lives of those you cared about. The thing about finding Olivia wasn't hard. I could sniff her out no matter where she was. A smile spread on my cheeks as I remembered her breathtaking smile. If I kept thinking about her, I would never find her. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked around the area I was in.Bright, windy. If I was Olivia, where would I go?Away from the open field were woods and the weather there seemed hotter than that of where I was standing. Did that mean that when it got dark here, it would be darker in the woods? That was pretty much it.Julian would not know this about Olivia but she would prefer

OLIVIA'S POV.As I ran through the forest, desperate for an escape from the killing frenzy mood that I had gone into, a memory of Alexander took hold of me and I held my two ears with my hands in an attempt to stop the memory. But despite everything I did to stop it, the memory still came. No, I was manipulated. That wasn't me.But it didn't stop the screams from that night from crossing his head. Alexander moaned, pressing his head against the heel of his wrists. Everything was coming in full force.“He did a good job. Alexander the Great, or so they call him. I had to see for myself, they were all dead,”“Yes. I agree with the alpha. He’s good. But, he wouldn’t have killed his tribe without some little manipulation of our own.”“Yep. That witch knows how to do her job. Cheers to us, for winning.”The voices began to overlap one another, resounding in his head. He grabbed his head with his hands, screaming. Make it stop. Make it stop. His wolf was whining, moving around in his head

OLIVIA'S POV.My head hurts a lot from all the voices and memories that I had encountered, but far more than how much my head hurts, my heart does a lot more. No, scratch that. My heart didn't hurt, my heart bled and it is still bleeding as I stood by the lake. How could a single person have gone through all those pains that came as memories to me? How could a clan be so wicked to treat one of their own in such a callous way?"Aaahhh!" I screamed at the intensity of the pain I felt from merely thinking about it.Worse, each time the memories hit, it always felt like it had happened to me and not to someone else. After that, I would calm down for a while and I would realize that it hadn't happened to me but to the person whose voice is in my head. Between those times when the memories hit me like they were mine and the time I realized that they weren't mine, I went on a full-scale killing agenda. I take out the life of anyone and anything I come across. While a part of me would always

OLIVIA'S POV.After we left the forest, my mate took me over to the cabin as she had promised. It was a small cabin that had only the basic necessity of life. No frivolous things, neither are there flashy things like in the stories of the fairy tales. It however has the comfortability that anyone would sell for such would find with it.It helped me adjust to the new life that had been bestowed upon me. My mate also did her utmost best to make sure that I was comfortable and nothing triggered the voice that had made itself at home in my head. But that still didn't stop the demon from getting activated. For the past two weeks that I had been here with her, she had done nothing but take care of me. She would get the water from the stream, hunt for our food, and still make the meal. The only thing she allowed me to do around the home was just read and relax. I found out that reading helped me to soothe the voice in my head like Alex was someone that had also enjoyed reading or he had sta

LEO'S POV.It's been a few weeks since the witch and I sacrificed Olivia's blood on the tree and a little war broke out. Like a child's play, a day turned into days, and days turned into weeks. I called it a little war because the bloodshed wasn't as gross as I had wanted it to be. While the witch and I had agreed that we needed to stay calm and let Olivia do all the killings, even though I wasn't pleased with that fact. No, it wasn't just the fact that I wasn't pleased with. I was also not pleased with the witch who had taken it over herself to turn to the leader after we had taken over Black Shrout but there was little to nothing I could do while she was still in control of everything.I had to let her be and watch at the sidelines while she kept ordering what was left of the people of Black Shrout all around in their own kingdom. The few people that had dared to question her authority she had made sure that their breath seized the very next second. After she had used about ten peop

OLIVIA'S POV."There's one more thing, my lady." The leader said in a serious tone.I lifted my eyes and stared at him in wonder about what else he could want from me."What would that be?" I asked him when he didn't say anything for almost a minute after he had spoken. He got up, came to my side and he began to pace around me. All through his scrutiny, I was very nervous but I tried my best to keep my anxiety down since I didn't want to display fear in the den of the wolves. At last, he stood in front of me and stared directly into my eyes."I can still smell your fear, my lady. Have you forgotten that I am an Alpha wolf? My sense of smell is a lot heightened than that of ordinary werewolves." He told me.When I looked at him in shock, he flashed his teeth before me. I wanted to vobblered him but I held on to my restraint. Gone were the days of mindless killings."You feel like killing me, don't you?" He asked me again with a naughty smile. Ever since Emerett had taken me into his care and he and his people had done nothing but take care of me. Emerett made sure I never packed for a thing even once and his men treated me with respect. Even the books that Emerett never joked about, he had allowed me to borrow them times without numbers. There was however one thing I had noticed about the group led by Emerett ever since I had arrived at the cave. Even though the men were very good werewolves who knew how to hunt for good meat, they always came back with little.Although Emerett had given me a head up about how the other party called White Ice had always stolen the prey his men hunted for and even when I had monitored them and saw how they acted for myself, it had been a little bit hard for me to come up with the perfect plan for Emerett's men to accept me. Two of the guardsmen were sleeping, immediately getting up when I passed.I was too tired not to stop and scold them. A few werewold kids were playing in the park, some of them stopping bouncing the ball to wave at me. I waved back, faking a wide smile. One of them pointed at their heart, calling out. "Where's Luna?" I bit my lip, shaking my head as I walked away. I knew my people would ask about Olivia, since they were aware I had left to get her back. I sighed, rubbing my forehead. *Olivia's POV*I stood there waiting for about a minute before Ron came back and the first thing he said when he saw me was. "The dress fits you better. Maria would be thrilled."I assumed Maria was his mate and I nodded at him, lifting the gown so it wouldn't sweep against the floor. I walked behind him, pondering on how exactly to project myself so the clan liked me.I needed their approval to stay here. Ron led me down another staircase and I lifted my eyes to see a spread of them. The pit was dug out like a concert arena. The uplifted part was decorated like a throne and I saw Emerett sitting on the chair. He had his head in his hands, and he only looked up when the whispers started. His eyes widened and he moved to his feet. Ron nodded at me, going to stand in the crowd. I could feel all their eyes on me as I made my way to the stage and I tried to tune out my ears so I wouldn't hear what they were saying. My wolf was more curious and she won this battle."Oh my goodness. *Olivia's POV*Emerett decided to take me around the cave after the mini breakfast in his room. The cave was bigger than I expected, with curtains and mud walls sectioning it into smaller parts. There were a few wolves outside the curtain rooms, watching me with suspicious eyes. I could feel their eyes bore holes into me with every step I took."They are watching me." "They have never seen a wolf like you before. Fear not. They would attack you as long as you stand by me." I looked one in the eye as we passed by her grinding something that looked pink. The coldness in her eyes made me shiver and rub my forearms."They don't take a liking to new people?" Emerett glanced at the woman over his shoulder. "That's just how Edith behaves. She lost her husband to an intruder so she is really suspicious of every new person we bring. She will eventually warm up to you."I sincerely doubted that, but I kept my mouth closed. The cave was huge and it seemed the tour would never end. I took note of

*Olivia's POV*I kept running, feeling the wind rushing in my ears. My wolf was tense, making me run faster than normal. I heard a growl behind me and I made the mistake of looking back. I stumbled over a tree trunk and fell to the floor. "Get her." I heard a voice hiss and I immediately scrambled to my feet. I took on a fighting stance, glaring at them. The one in the middle was staring at me with wide eyes. His eyes were dark, like the night sky when the moon was nowhere to be found. Behind him were at least three more wolves, all wearing the same band around their wrists. I felt a shiver crawl up my spine when I realized what they were. My wolf said it for me, her voice sounding like a growl. "Rouges."The night sky eyed wolf smiled, standing straighter. "You are smart. But I would beg to differ since you are here. What are you doing around our parts?" I kept my eye on him, watching him move around me. "I don't want any trouble."One of the rogues laughed, rolling his eyes. "T
