Jasper P.O.V. The Beta and Gamma show me a few rooms, but they let me choose where I want to stay, which is fairly nice of them. I noticed we never entered the Alpha floor, although my status as Solari’s son, a Goddess born, allows me the same privileges as Alpha’s or other leaders, but I guess the King does not want me anywhere near his mate. She is a looker for sure, a pretty little thing, but she is not for me. She has her mate, and if there is one thing I actually respect it’s the matebond. Aunt Selene would have my head faster than I can blink if I ever tried to interfere with one of her couples. She’s very touchy on that particular subject. Of course the King does not know that, and I did check out his mate in the background, but not for the reason he believed. I was checking out her aura and power dept. I must say I’m hella impressed and intrigued, not that I would ever admit that. She is powerful beyond anyone or anything I have ever come across in my many years on this eart
Ivy P.O.V. “I found out who your father is, and your full parentage today. You are not a far, cousin.” Jasper says and the room goes eerie quiet. People are holding their breath to see how I will react, I gather, and I myself do not even know what to say to that? Of course I’m a fae. I have the fae looks and powers. What the actual fuck. ‘Raven, do you know what he is on about?’ ‘Our cousin is right. We have fae traits because that is what our mother gave us, but we have no blood of the fae in us. We have divine and wolf blood, through and through.’ ‘But.. We’re a hybrid.’ ‘Yes, Ivy. We’re a Goddess/werewolf hybrid.’ ‘God.. Goddess? I’m a what?!’ ‘We, child. We are that! We are a hybrid created out of true love between our parents.’‘You’ve known all along?’ ‘I suspected, but it didn’t click before Jasper told us just now. I am far too strong to be fighting space within you with another mortal species. Our Goddess side has merged fully with our wolf side, which is why we can
King Edor P.O.V. The battle plans have been going mostly smoothly, and I know for a fact that the wolf King has no idea what I am planning. Ashti and Briell are still mad at me and both of them refuse to speak to me. They have resolved to live in a private wing of the castle, which I put under guard as a result of their decisions. Ashti was furious the first time she tried to leave and was told she was under house arrest, and I cackled all the way to my office after the head guard retold how she had thrown a tantrum. My people are starting to question my sanity as their King, but I do not care. I remind them, harshly, why I am King, and my spies tell me it has been quiet since then.Speaking of spies, I managed to get some planted into the Jewel pack as well, and they have been most informative. Everyday I find a new stack of papers with news about the daily activities of Ivy and her entourage. “The Queen went for a walk amongst the pack today. Many didn’t know what to think of he
Isaiah P.O.V.“Come one, Ivy!” Jasper yells on the training ground. Ivy blasts a practice doll to smithereens, and he only lifts an eyebrow. “That was not what I asked you to do. Come on, you have to concentrate.” She focuses on another doll, and this time it levitates instead of blows up. She throws it up, catching it again with her powers and puts it down to the ground. “Better. But you have to be quicker.” Jasper scolds, as Ivy narrows her eyes at him. I know that look by now. He is going to be in trouble if he doesn’t let up a bit. Just then he jumps to the side, rolling on the ground and jumping to his feet. He flips Ivy upside down, and I’m on my feet in an instant but before I can move she has broken free and Jasper yelps as something invisible must have hit him. Ivy lands on her feet, running towards Jasper, and he barely dodge the first throw of her fist, but catches her other hand and throws her over his hip. She does a full flip in the air, landing gracefully on the ground,
Ivy P.O.V. Jasper and I are doing some mental training, which I think must look extremely weird to Isaiah, but I will explain afterwards. After I accidentally tapped into Jasper's mind just before, he linked me that I need to strengthen my inner defenses and control how, when and who I tap into. It could have been someone sinister who could have used it for personal gain, because when you do it by accident, you’ll leave a backdoor open to your own mind. You need to make sure it is closed. This does not happen when you purposely enter someone else's mind.As we were training, something knocked on my mental door and I overheard the mindlink to Isaiah, which I think was for us both but directed to him. I quickly told Jasper about the danger, and we shifted ready to go. His fox is absolutely wonderful, and I need to take a closer look at some point where we are not in danger of losing our lives. The gratitude i
Jasper P.O.V. I do as I am told by my cousin, although I have a very bad feeling about it. I flash to the pack hospital with Isaiah, laying him on the ground just outside and yell for some help. Nurses and a doctor run out of the building gasping when they see their Alpha. I leave him in their capable hands, looking around the pack grounds. The fighting is mostly died down here, and people are cleaning up; gathering the dead enemy, tending to dead or injured allies. I see the Beta ordering some pack members to something or other, and then he sees me. I must look at a sight with blood all over me, and a desperate glint in my eyes. I nod to him, hurrying in the direction he walks. “You survived.” He says with a small smile, and I nod. He must think both me and Ivy came back, but he is in for a rude surprise then. “We need men, the Queen is still out there.” He stops dead in his tracks, his eyes wide.“What?” I sigh. “Get those you need, I won’t say this more than once.” He nods, his
Isaiah P.O.V. “ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND SELENE?” I wake to my mother screaming on the top of her lungs. Someone shushes her, but then they regret it when I hear an ‘ow’. Dad. What the hell is going on? Where am I? The last thing I remember is being captured and dragged to the beach of the lake. Memories of Ivy and Jasper arriving on the beach and my Ivy demanding me freed. She was magnificent. I was in and out, but she was amazing for what I saw. Then Jasper’s voice sounded right besides me, and we were gone from the beach. I passed out when he left the hospital. Ivy?! I sit up abruptly as my mother screams again. “YOU ARE INSANE! WHAT IS THE FUCKING MATTER WITH YOU GODDESSES?” I look around the room. Ivy is in the bed beside me. She is pale, but she is alive and breathing. My erratic heartbeat slows down a bit looking at my sleeping mate. I’m surprised she has not awoken from the screaming, but then again I’m really not. Ivy is a heavy sleeper. “Oh my god. Isaiah!” Mom is
Ivy P.O.V. I’m floating. The skies are cold and wet against my skin. I know I’m dreaming, but then again; this doesn’t exactly feel like a dream? It feels real somehow. I know I can’t fly. But I can fly. I flew when I trained with Jasper, and again when I fought with Ashari. ‘Just wait and see, little one.’ Raven says. Huh? So, she is here as well? That gives me a strange sense of protection, but if she is here as well? ‘We haven’t left our mate's arms, Ivy. No one can sense us. I’m shielding us. Just wait and see. We are going to learn something important, I can feel it.’ I do as she says, letting our body float through time and space. Then something forms around us. A camp of some sort. We float down, landing like a ghost amongst those who are working there. A feeling inside says we need to head left, so that is what I do. Raven is humming quietly, making my entire see through body buzz. Further up ahead the road I chose there is a big tent. I enter through the side, standing in
Hi all my lovely readers. This is where the new book following Astra, Jasper, Jonas, Flora and Jenna will be updated. It has been decided that the book is so tightly knit to the second book, that I have to update it this way, which also means I will not start updating until the new year, so I have a bundle of chapers to start out with, and it will be a project on the side as I am also looking at signing something new and exciting. But don't worry, I will not let that affect my quality or updating rate, as I hope the extra time until I start it regularly, will give me the opportunity to uodate 3 times a week as I use to. That was the sereious part. Now for someting more related to the new book. After the war is won, and Isaiah and Ivy say goodbye to Jasper, Astra, Jonas, Flora and Jenna, everything seems to be fine. They know Jenna has been acting kinda weird and clingy towards her children and Flora, but everyone has been brushing it off to grief over her mate's death. Jasper howev
Isaiah P.O.V.Ophelia turned out to be a great asset to our motley crowd. And the kids immediately took to her, finding her training fun and relaxing at the same time. Eli, Gabe and the twins understood the importance of practicing meditation and other forms of mental defense. Emmet and Ilina just thought it fun and different, although they had a harder time sitting still both of them were determined to be as good as their siblings. Most of the time Ilina fell asleep during meditations, which Ophelia said was fine. We fell into a good routine after Ophelia also joined us, and soon it was time to prepare the kids to leave the Realm of Magic. We were all sad to go, but I think Ivy was the saddest of us all. She really felt at home here between her parents and all the wonderful creatures we got to meet. On our last day we decided to bring the kids back to the stream, giving Ophelia and Archeron time to pack and be ready for the next day. We have been here for so long, the kids kinda fo
Ivy P.O.V. We have been here for a little over a month now, although I know that is not even half of that in the Mortal Realm, I cannot help but feel a bit bad for just leaving everything to Aiden, Alisa and Isaiah’s parents. They have been doing a great job so far, and only had to call for me twice until now to help solve disputes in the pack, and once for something regarding another pack and a treaty violation. I love to help, and it was nice to see everyone again. Isabella also had some time to yell at me for getting pregnant again, cry because this is definitely the last one and almost faint when I said it’s twins. One of each. We had the doctor another scan just before they called me for the treaty thing, and we got the news. Isaiah is over the moon, and the younger kids are beginning to understand that momma has to be a bit more careful because of the babies in her belly. Ilina has been so loving ever since I came a little further along. Mom says it’s because she can sense them
Isaiah P.O.V.“Well, congratulations your Graces, you are indeed expecting twins again. I understand you wish to have them in your own home, which I understand. You should still be able to enjoy your stay here, but take it easy and with the slightest discomfort, please come see me again.” The female doctor, a former witch, says with a small smile. “I will monitor you from here, but perhaps it’ll be best if someone also notifies your doctor back in the Mortal Realm?” I nod, looking at Ivy, who seems far away. I take her hand, bringing it to my mouth. She turns her head in my direction, but she does not seem to actually see me. “Doc, may we please have a moment?” I ask, also asking Eli to go back to his grandparents. He looks at his mother with deep concern, and I know the empathic side of him is tapping into her, feeling everything she is. “I got her Eli. Please see your grandparents for now, son.” I tell him, leaning down and kissing his hair. He nods silently, following the doctor o
10 years laterIvy P.O.V.“KIDS I AM GIVING YOU 5 SECONDS TO GET OUT HERE, OR WE ARE GOING WITHOUT YOU! 5, 4, 3.. Thank you!” I’m standing outside the packhouse with Isiah, Eli who is 10, and knows by now not to piss off his mother when we’re going somewhere and our youngest, Ilina who is 2 and sleeping in her stroller. Isaiah shakes his head at me, and kisses my temple. I sigh. I know I’m more impatient today than usual, and that says something, because I’m always impatient when we’re going somewhere, but today is very special and we’re going to be gone for quite some time as a family. Out of house rushes our other children; Gabe who is 8, and the actual spitting image of the uncle he is named after, the twins Isobel and Elain who is 6 and finally our 4 years old Emmet. I put my hands on my hips and look them all over, while Eli and Isaiah snickers behind me. They’re just happy they are not the ones who are in trouble this time. “I am blaming us for being late solely on all of you
Isaiah P.O.V.We table this discussion for later, and follow dad out the door and out back where a ton of chairs is placed facing a small decorated platform for me and Ivy. I cannot wait to see her in her dress. I know she is a little self conscious right now, but she is just gorgeous and I love her so much! She is going to be a vision, I am sure of it. We take our place as everyone is finding their seats in the crowd. Aunt Jenna smiles at Jonas and taps a seat beside her. She has placed herself in the front, and with enough chairs free so Jonas, Astra and Alisa can sit with her I think. I just raise an eyebrow and make a last minute decision. “Actually, aunt Jonas is in my bridal party, so he is standing today.” I tell her politely, winking at Jonas. I mindlink Ivy, telling her about my abrupt change and explaining why. She laughs over the mindlink and tells me she’ll inform the others. Flora was made head of the flower girls, and had to stay with them, saving her from my aunt as
Isaiah P.O.V.“A toast to the happy couple! Congratulations, Isaiah! You really are a lucky man.” Aiden says, smiling at me. We are sitting at the breakfast table, just us guys. I raise my champagne glass to him, toasting in silence. The rest say ‘hear hear’ and drink with us. We are having a great morning so far, but I am starting to feel the small nervous jitters of excitement. This day has been long coming, but is finally here. Today I am going to make Ivy my wife! She is already the mother to our son, and seeing her take that role with such passion has been one of the greatest moments in my life! I know she thinks I am a nervous wreck when it comes to Eli, but I just can’t help it. With everything we have been through since I found her in the Fae Kingdom, I am going to keep myself on my toes regarding our son. No one is ever going to hurt him. I know that for sure because they will have to face the wrath of my soon-to-be wife, and I’ll handle the leftovers, but still. He is our so
Ivy P.O.V. Two weeks later We’ve had our little Eli with us for two weeks now and he is just a little angel! I must admit as much as motherhood scared me, and we had some minor setbacks, such as I am not able to breastfeed him, I really love being a mother. The thing with breastfeeding was a hard blow as I had heard so much good about it, but I was just not producing milk. Isaiah has been a trooper navigating my hot mess of emotions - going from high to low faster than Elsa chose to let it go in Frozen. We finally had some quiet time to sit down and watch some movies and be a family - meaning a Disney marathon. It was an amazing evening. Everyone in the pack has welcomed Eli with open hearts, and I could not be more proud. I have also decided to divide my reading time for the little ones with Isabella, as she really enjoyed herself when I was in labor. She has Tuesday and I have Thursday. The kids have been nothing but sweet and gentle with my son, cooing over him and doting whenev
Isiaah P.O.V.4 months later “ISAIAH!” Ivy screams from our room. Our wedding day fastly approaching, but we decided to wait to get married until she had our baby. She’s been a real trooper through the pregnancy, and has been bedridden for the last month because the little rascal may or may not come early if she didn’t. Not that she wasn’t doing everything right before to keep him in there for as long as possible, but sometimes that is just not enough and you have to do more proactive stuff to ensure a full term baby. She’s been having a tough time accepting that, and twice a week I have been carrying her to the downstairs living room, where she has been reading to the littlest pups in the pack. They have been so fascinated with her growing stomach and the fact the next little Alpha is in there. I adore her, swelling stomach and all. She is as beautiful today as she was the day I met her - minus all the bruises. “ISAIAH I MEAN I… OW!” I jump to my feet, hurrying into our bedroom. I w
