91. Can you handle me?

Analyn POV

I watched Ambrose attack my father in his wolf form. He pounced at my father, who had no fighting chance, and then he tore his throat out.

I couldn't say anything as my father lay on the ground, his throat making a gurgling sound as fresh blood gushed out from his gaping wound. He choked on his blood for a few more minutes then went still.

"You did it...you killed my father," I whispered.

"He wasn't your father," Theo said. He didn't even flinch when that happened. No one did. I guess these types of things weren't uncommon for werewolves.

Beasts, as my father called them.

"He raised me, so he was still my father," I insisted. I looked at Ambrose. He was still in his wolf form as he stared at me. His intense green eyes were boring into mine. Blood matted his fur.

~ Don't be sad, Ana. He was the bad guy, so I killed him,~ his wolf spoke to me.

But why was it so hard for me to accept?
