Analyn POV
"Get me out of here!" I screamed into Ambrose's ears.
"I am trying my best to do it fast without hurting you, goddammit!" Ambrose barked. He was wincing as if he was in pain. Why is he making that face? I was the one giving birth to three wolf pups!
"I am going to create this portal so we can go to the hospital quickly," he said and raised his arms.
"Stop talking about it and do it already. They are going to come out soon. I can feel it," I groaned.
"I am in pain too, and it's making me weaker than usual. Jeez...so this is what it's like to give birth. This isn't fun at all!" he said.
Oh, I forgot he could feel my pain too, I thought as he moved his hands around. I saw sparks coming out of his fingertips as he drew a circle. He kept moving his hands around, making the circle bigger.
"Almost done," he cried.
"They are pushing themselves out! I can feel it, ugh!" I breathed faster. Maybe I should make
Ambrose POV"Who are you?" I growled at one of the intruders wearing a black hoodie and silver mask. His eyes burned with hatred. His hand gripped the knife so tightly that his knuckles turned white. He didn't answer and pressed the knife on my throat. I couldn't move an inch as I was bound by a thick chain. I tried to use magic to break out of it. I even tried to teleport, but nothing worked. I was truly trapped. The chain had to be charmed or made out of special metal. These fuckers came prepared.I looked over at Theo and Logan, who were trapped under a large net, like fishes out of the water. Logan was still unconscious. How did we get here, you ask? Let's go back and elaborate.***One of the pack members informed me about seeing the drider at one of the woods fifty miles from the town. It made sense because woods surrounded the area and the drider needed a new home since the one in my territory was off-limits.
Ambrose POV The punch landed on my jaw, but I hardly felt it. The man shook his hand as if his hand hurt from hitting me. He forgot that humans had nothing on a werewolf's strength. "What the fuck is your jaw made of?" the man barked. I held back my laughter and glared at him instead. "Don't hurt yourself. Are you going to take that mask off, or are you going to keep hiding behind it like a coward?" I sniffed the air around him, still trying to identify him. He smelled so familiar yet different. His voice also sounded like he was faking it. Then suddenly, I realized something. He was trying his best to hide his scent. He must've rubbed something on his skin like he poured a shit ton of fragrant oils all over his body or bathed in it. But if he was trying to hide his scent this hard, it meant one thing... We knew each other already. "I know you don't I? And you don't want me to know who you are? Wow, you
Analyn POV My entire life is a lie. And it only took a few minutes for me to know that. My father. My sweet, kind, generous father, who also happened to be a great leader, turned out to be someone who was after my family and me. He stood up to move toward me but stopped. "I can't move! What did you do to me?" he asked as he froze in place. "Keeping you glued to the ground until we are done talking. You've got a lot more explaining to do, old man," Ambrose said nonchalantly. Ambrose must be controlling dad with his mind, so he couldn't move now that he was defenseless. "Dad. I am not a human either. Does that mean you were going to kill me eventually?" I asked. I couldn't stop my voice from trembling. "I didn't want to. So I convinced the others to spare your life so my wife and I could adopt you. We took you to that witch, so your magic powers will be blocked," dad said. "And now that they are o
Charlotte POV WhenI first saw Dave, I was afraid, but at the same time, I was mesmerized. He moved with the grace of a panther, determined eyes, and the confidence of a predator. He was like an alabaster god come to life, long and sculpted. He captivated me with his black, soulless eyes. Time stood still when he moved closer to me, his touch woke something in me. Perhaps it was my wolf who had refused to come out no matter how much I willed it to. Will I ever become a true wolf? I had no idea. But the moment our eyes met, I knew I wanted to be his more than anything. He thought I was some silly little naïve girl who wasn't aware of the darkness that loomed over him. But it was quite the opposite. I knew as soon as we met. I've met vampires before, but he wasn't anything like them. His energy was different, and it was evil. He had his eyes on Analyn, and it wasn't because he was in love with her.
Ambrose POV I looked at Theo with surprise. He had put me aside and revealed his 'big news', and my mind was blown. First, the whole thing with Ana's father, and now this? Things were getting crazier and crazier as the days go by. "Say it again, and say it slowly," I ordered. "Charlotte is my mate." "The rogue from the Bloodmoon pack we took in? You do realize that she is pregnant with a vampire's child, and I was planning on punishing her for it?" I grumbled. "Yes, her. I request you to spare her, alpha. She is innocent in all this and I just felt the mate bond with her," Theo said enthusiastically. His blue eyes were sparkling. "And then what? What will you do about the vampire? He has his teeth sunk in the girl and he had marked her with his child. So he will snap your neck if you go near her." "I'm not scared of him. I plan to fight him for her," Theo said. "Impossible!" I stood up. "Do not underest
Analyn POVA few more weeks passed by. Nothing was done about my father yet other than Ambrose throwing him in prison. Then, a rumor about a war between humans and werewolves started circulating. It wasn't too far-fetched as people didn't want to understand why their president was held captive.I should make a statement as his daughter to explain things, but my mental health has been a mess ever since that day.And also, the drama between Charlotte, Dave, and Theo was starting to become a huge issue.Amidst all this chaos, Konrad was starting to show his powers already. I was shocked beyond belief when I saw it for the first time because he is nothing but a toddler! It happened when he was sleeping. I had put him in his crib and proceeded to step out of the room but stopped when I saw something strange at the corner of the room.At first, it looked like a dark blob, so I thought it was just a circular shadow of something. Bu
Theodore POVShe wasn't a stranger. I have seen her from far away before. She was always with our Luna, taking care of her needs. I could tell she was a good girl. But now I knew she was more than that. She was my mate. But I also knew she was trying her best to deny our mate bond. She was fighting it hard, but I won't let her. She will be mine.I caught her on her way somewhere before she could escape. She had been avoiding me. But at least she didn't reject me straight away."Hey, stop!" I barked."I...I need to get back to work," she stammered."No you don't. You need to stay here with me. Stop running away and talk to me," I said and grabbed her wrist."I have nothing to say to you. I have already chosen my mate and that's not you." Charlotte snatched her hand away. It hurt me a little, but I recovered fast."We are fated mates. You can't escape that," I grumbled. I grabbed her waist and pulled her c
Analyn POV "President Sabado, you betrayed your own kind by breaking the peace treaty between humans and the werewolves. What do you have to say about that?" Ambrose's voice was low and deep. I could tell he was seething, his eyes were bright green, but they were on the verge of changing as they glowed from green to amber. "I have nothing to be ashamed of. This world was meant for us humans, not filthy monsters like you!" my father snarled. "Then I have no choice but to execute you," Ambrose announced. The crown surrounding us murmured. I knew Ambrose was angry, but this was a rash decision. I was angry too, but the man still raised me. I couldn't let him die just like that. "You can't!" I protested. "Are you questioning my decision?" he narrowed his eyes. I knew I shouldn't question him since he was the alpha, but this wasn't only the decision to protect his pack. This was about the life of a person who raised
