It took Maxmillian about an hour to figure out Amelia's location. He found both Amelia and his son, Alexander, at a restaurant close to the park, and just immediately rushed into the restaurant to get her.
"What are you doing here?" Maxmillian asked her. "Oh, hi father. Amelia and I were just catching on," Alexander answered. Maxmillian became more upset, and he dragged Alexander by his shirt collar. "Never in your life refer to me as Father, ever again" Maxmillian warned, his voice deep and clear. "But he is your son," Amelia interrupted. "Stay out of this," Maxmillian said, confronting Amelia. He immediately let go of Alexander's shirt, he took Amelia by her wrist, dragging her out of the restaurant against her will, leaving Alexander there alone. "Stop pushing me Max, you are hurting my wrist," Amelia pleaded. As they got to the park, Maxmillian released Amelia's hand from his grip. He stared at her miserably, totally dumbfounded. "Why?" Maxmillian asked, "I know we have our issues, Amelia, but ..... Why? You don't even know that guy, and you went out with him? Yet you won't talk to me. You had me worried sick about you, Amelia. I don't want you going out with him", Maximilian pleaded. "He is your son," Amelia said. "I don't consider him a son yet" Maxmillian Knight yelled. "I don't trust him. He may harm you. Besides, he just came out of nowhere." "Why would he want to harm me, Maxmillian? We were only having a conversation before you came in. He was trying to make me feel better, after all the trauma you've put me through'' Amelia explained. "He is no good for you....." "You don't know that" Amelia yelled, cutting. Maxmillian words. "There are a lot of things I do want to tell you, a lot of things I want to explain to you, but I just can't. I'm sorry Amelia, but I don't ever want to see you anywhere close to Alexander again" Maxmillian said. His voice breaks softly. He knew it was the best decision to keep Amelia safe. "You can't tell me what to do". Amelia answered. "If you love me, Amelia, if you love me like you claim you do, then you will do just this one thing I have asked of you: stay away from Alexander, Please," Maxmillian begged. The weather was unnecessarily cold all of a sudden. The storm was coming, and dusk was fast approaching. Maxmillian hauled Amelia to himself, caressing her face softly. He placed a kiss on her forehead and hugged her tightly. He could see Alexander staring at them from afar. "I'm sorry for letting you go through all of this, but listen to me Amelia, I won't let anyone hurt you, I will die protecting you. Everything I do, and every decision I make for us is just to keep you safe. Okay?" Maxmillian said. Amelia nodded in agreement, her face still cupped around Maximillian's palm. As tears almost streamed down her eyes, he planted a kiss on her lips. "Go home and wait for me. I'll join you soon", Maxmillian said. He watched as Amelia left the park, and couldn't let his eyes go off her. He wanted to make sure she was safe to walk alone and that no one would hurt her. "That's one fine chic you got there" Alexander interrupted. "Never in your life would you go anywhere close to her again. The next time I see you with her, I will make sure I kill you myself" Maxmillian roared. "Whoa, slow down... Father," Alexander teased. "Listen to me. I told you before, I never did plan to have you. I will let you and your mother stay with me for a little while, as long as you both follow my instructions. Which is staying away from Amelia. I won't warn you again," Maxmillian threatened. "Or what?" Alexander asked defensively. "You and I both know that she has no idea who you are... Or should I say "WHAT" you are." Alexander smirked. " And I believe that you have not been so truthful to her either. Isn't that why you can't make love to her? You are scared she might turn into a monster just like you did to Grace. "Your mother drugged me, she made me drunk, I wasn't myself," Maxmillian said. "I don't want to know who is at fault. I'm in the picture now Maxmillian, planned or not. I am a product of your carelessness. I don't care how you feel, or she feels, Father. But my mother has always taught me to get what I want, and if I want Amelia, I will get her, no matter what it will take," Alexander concluded. He shoved both his hands into his trouser pockets and left. "I'd run to the house as fast as I could if I were you before Grace tells Amelia things you don't want her to know," Alexander added. Back at the house, Amelia had just entered. The whole living room had a nice food scent which Grace had prepared for dinner while she awaited everyone. "Oh, you are here. Amelia. I guess" Grace asked. Trying to remember Amelia's name. "Yes," Amelia replied uncomfortably. She looked at Grace, wondering what she was up to. "Would you like to join us for dinner?" Grace Monroe asked. Her voice sounded so soft and swift. "Us?" Amelia asked again. "Common, have a seat" Grace instructed, as she quietly pulled Amelia to one of the dining chairs. She had this weird distressed smile on her face that frightened Amelia. "I am not hungry, thank you," Amelia said, standing up from where she sat. "I just want to go up and have some rest, it's been a long day today," Amelia added. She proceeds to head to her bedroom. "Where is Alexander?" Grace asked. "What?" Amelia replied rhetorically. "Alex? You both went out together. Where is he?" Grace Monroe asked again. "Oh, uhm, he... Sorry, I left him at the restaurant. He should be on his way back any moment from now", Amelia answered. Her voice was breaking, and she became a little bit scared of Grace. The way Grace stared at her was not normal. "What about Maxmillian? He went out searching for you. Did you see him?" Grace asked. Amelia became furious and snapped immediately "Why all this question? You realize I'm not comfortable with you in this house, I'm trying to keep my cool here. I have no idea where Alexander and Maxmillian are, OK!!" Amelia yelled loudly. "I'm surprised you don't care where your lover is. Don't you love him the way he loves you? Or are you scared of him because he is an..... " Just immediately, Maxmillian entered the living room. Followed by Alexander "What have you both been up to?" Grace asked. "I was just having a very interesting conversation with Amelia here," Grace said, pointing towards Amelia's direction. She headed back to the dining room to set the dining chairs and table properly once more. "Why should I be scared of Maxmillian?" Amelia asked, "You were saying something again." "Dinner is ready you all" Grace called out, "Oh, I'm starving", Alexander added, finding his way to the dining table which his mother had set. "Ain't you hungry?" Grace Monroe asked, staring at Maxmillian. She noticed the anger on Maxmillian's face but knew that he couldn't do what was in his mind. "You have to leave this house this very minute" Maxmillian commandedThe atmosphere became intense. Maxmillian flared angrily. "You both can't stay here" he barked. He's voice tumbled wide."You can't throw us out, Maxmillian Knight. We are your famil. Your blood", Grace Monroe said. "Oh, I am not throwing you out completely. You can't just stay here with I and Amelia. I have provided an apartment for you and your son. You can have it all to yourself for as long as you want." Maxmillian said."Your son? Maxmillian, I need to remind you that Alexander is OUR son. And there is nothing wrong with a son knowing where his father is staying..." "You have overstayed your welcome Grace. I don't see anything wrong with what you did. I will take full responsibility for you and Alexander. But until then, I need you both to leave. Amelia is not comfortable with you both in this house". Maxmillian concluded,"You are throwing your family out of your house because of a stranger?" Grace Monroe asked."Stranger!!!" Amelia yelled curiously."A complete human?" Grac
Maxmillian stared at Grace Monroe from beside the door where he stood. "What do you mean? I have never hurt Amelia, and i would never hurt her", Maxmillian confessed. "Are you sure? Because that wasn't what Alexander told me?" Grace added."Alexander doesn't know anything about Amelia and I""But he knows enough to see that you starve her sexually. After all, she's human, isn't she? And you don't want your cute little human to turn into a monster, like you did to me", Grace yelled frustratingly."Whatever happened to you was entirely your fault" Maxmillian said."I didn't get myself pregnant. You were the one who couldn't control that thing down there....""You drugged me" Maxmillian yelled."So I'm guessing you are not strong enough then." She smirked "just as I thought."What have you come here to do?" Maxmillian asked. "I have given you enough, Grace. I need you and your son out of my life." "Our SON Maxmillian. Alexander belongs to us both", Grace added."Not anymore, you watch
"Go to the car and wait for me Amelia", Maxmillian commanded."I'm sorry" Amelia cried out."Just do as I have said" Maxmillian ordered.Just as Amelia left the roof, Maxmillian and Alexander got into a fierce battle, which made both of them bleed, until Grace came to separate them."What is wrong with you both?" Grace yelled. "Do you want to kill my son over a mere stranger?" "You both are strangers. You have come to ruin my life. The two of you should go back where you came from. You are not welcome here, Maxmillian yelled." "You have no right to tell us what to do, where to go and definitely not who to kiss, because I enjoyed my lips going into Amelia's", Alexander added.Maxmillian became more furious, he tried to hit Alexander again, but Grace stood immediately in front of her son. "Touch him one more time and you will feel my wrath", Grace Monroe warned. Her eyes were fierce and scary. She was able to control her emotions just like Maxmillian. "From my blood you both are m
"Really?" Amelia asked "Of course. I don't want to hide anything from you, Amelia," Maxmillian confessed."Okay. I'm listening." Amelia said softly, sitting at the edge of the bed, while patiently waiting for Maxmillian explanation.Maxmillian grabbed a chair that was situated in the corner of his room. He pulled the chair in front of Amelia. Stared at her for some minutes, and cleared his throat. All of this time he wasted, he was busy thinking of lies to come up with, to tell Amelia, since he wasn't ready to let Amelia know who he was. "I'm sorry I haven't been completely honest with you, Amelia. I know there are a lot of questions you wish to ask and dozens of answers you seek." Maxmillian started."Exactly. You haven't completely explained to me what's going on between you, Grace, and Alexander, and somehow I get mixed up in your drama. I feel I'm the center of all this trauma. One minute you are agreeing that they are your family , and the next minute, you are saying you don't
The evening was calm and quiet. At about 10 pm, Maxmillian and Amelia sat in the living room watching movies while stuffing food in their mouths. Suddenly, there was a sound of broken glass coming from the wine shelf. Maxmillian hurried to check what it was, only to find Alexander opening a bottle of wine and pouring himself a glass."Oops… My bad," Alexander said just the very moment he saw Maxmillian."What are you doing here?" Maxmillian asked, looking furious."Calm down, old man. Today is the third day. I didn't get feedback concerning my offer," Alexander stated."What useless offer? I can't let you stay here," Maxmillian added."If that's the case, then I can help you tell your woman what manner of beast you are," Alexander said."Who are you talking to baby?" Amelia asked, her voice echoing from the living room where she sat patiently waiting for Maxmillian to return to her. There was no reply. Maxmillian was dumbfounded. He didn't have the right words to explain to Amelia wha
Amelia was shocked. Still in the dining room making breakfast. She looked at Grace, wondering what Grace would want to talk to her about."Common Amelia, there's no need to be scared. My mother doesn't bite," Alexander said, smiling.Grace laughed hard at Alexander's statement."Of course, I won't bite her. At least not yet, and for the sake of my son," Grace added."I don't think I will have that chance to speak with you....""Oh, you will baby. You had better make that chance for our conversation to be held, even though it means you rescheduling, because if I don't get to speak with you today, hell will let loose. And we don't want that, do we?" Grace asked.Amelia stared at Maxmillian. Expecting him to say something. "Whatever conversation you want to have with her should be held in this house," Maxmillian knight ordered."Of course, Maxmillian. I wouldn't take your lovely woman to a place you wouldn't get to watch over her," Grace added.A few minutes later, they all began having
Maxmillian and Amelia decided to spend the rest of the day hidden in the room. They stay behind closed doors for hours, gossiping and having a good time. Amelia had her head on Maxmillian's chest, while they both lay on the bed. She told Maxmillian everything she discussed with Grace Monroe, including her response to her. "I'm proud of you. I'm proud you stood up to her. She would have taken advantage of your calmness." Maxmillian complimented "I didn't think you could pull it off, for some moments I was scared she would hurt you". He added"Hmm, although she sounded confident. Maybe it was because she has a child for you....""I don't consider him my child. He's a grown man, old enough to cater for himself and start his own family. I have no idea why he's back anyway," Maxmillian interrupted."I still don't understand why you won't touch me, Max," Amelia cried in a low tone. "Maybe if I have a child for you too, I can be more confident like Grace. I have no stand, nothing to fight h
Maxmillian left his room for Alexander's. His rage was predictable. "What were you doing in my room?"Maxmillian asked. Barging into Alexander's room. Alexander was standing by the window with his hands in his pockets. He turned slowly to Maxmillian. Seeing his father's angry look, he knew immediately not to throw back the rage Maxmillian came to him with. "I was expecting you, Maxmillian. What did you go to my mother's place to do?" Alexander asked."I went to warn her to stay away from Amelia. You heard what your mother told Amelia, didn't you?" Maxmillian asked. "That shouldn't repeat itself.""So what?" Alexander asked rhetorically, feeling less concerned."She warned her fellow woman to stay away from a man she loves. Is that a new thing? If Amelia loved you like she claimed she would fight my mum for your heart. But no, you keep telling Amelia to stay away from Grace because you and I know that Grace will win. Am I right?" Alexander concluded."Is that all you have to say?
Maxmillian knight had taken Amelia and Jason to the pack, where he was certain that they will be safe and protected. On getting there he asked the shape- shifting soldiers if anyone have seen, or heard from Aleah, or any idea which road she took, but their response seemed negative."I'm coming with you" Amelia told him."You are not." Maxmillian replied, not ready to listen to her."You don't understand. I have to__""I am your Alpha and you will do as I say Amelia!!!." Maxmillian yelled. His voice echoing around the Walls of the hidden pack. He looked at everyone and watched as they all stared at him In fright. "This is not a topic up for discussion Amelia. You can't come with me""Keep being delusional. You think I'm going to let you put my baby at risk this time again? You couldn't even handle Grace and Alexander. Alpha my foot." Grace insulted. Walking out on Maxmillian. "You can keep sleeping around, making love with everything you see for all I care. But one thing I Know for cer
Amelia was forcefully dragged into the room by one of Alexander's guards, her arms held tightly. The moment she saw Maxmillian chained, a wave of panic swept over her. She desperately wanted to run to him but was held back by the sight of what had weakened him."What have you done to him?" she cried out. "Release him this instant!" she demanded."On whose orders?" Grace interjected, her tone mocking."Mine," Amelia replied confidently. "Where is my son? Where is my baby?""You might never see them again if you don’t cooperate," Alexander interrupted coldly."You!" Amelia spat, fury and hatred burning in her eyes. "I curse the day I met you. I wish Maxmillian had killed you the moment you set foot in our home.""You mean my home?" Alexander sneered."Your home? Keep dreaming. You’ll never—""Never what?" Alexander interrupted again, his smirk widening. "If you're thinking of that moment... yes, we already had our time together while you were still our hostage.""What? That's not true,"
Gerald had Gone so far that it was hard for anyone to trace him and the baby. Aleah had no option than to seek help from some of the tamed soldiers in the pack. They scavenged through every nook and cranny of the forest but they couldn't find Gerald. "Where would he have gone to?" Aleah asked rhetorically, as she watched her men still search profusely, following the wolf scent that led them to no destination. "You all can go back to the pack, I will take it from here" Aleah commanded. Her soldiers felt ignorant. They wanted to help catch Gerald badly. They hated the fact that he even existed at all. after hearing a lot of terrible things about him. "This is not your fight." Aleah told them. "All of you combined can't defeat Gerald__""Are you underestimating us?" Derrick asked."Of course not." Aleah replied, feeling guilty. She knew in her heart that they would all be dead at one slight glance from Gerald. "Gerald is not someone to be joked with. You can go back to the pack and a
A few minutes after Maxmillian’s connection with Jason faded, Amelia gave birth to a baby girl. Maxmillian could feel the child's presence, sensing her arrival into the world."I have a niece now," Aleah said to Maxmillian, who was still deep in meditation. He let out a faint, tender smile."You can feel that too?" Maxmillian asked."Of course, everyone can feel it. Everyone knows another shape-shifter has been born," Aleah added, crouching to face him. "Her mere presence strikes fear into the hearts of evil. You must protect her at all costs. If not, you will lose everything.""She’s protected. She’s in a place no one can reach, where no one can harm her," Maxmillian replied confidently."Let’s hope so," Aleah responded.Unspeakable joy filled Maxmillian’s heart. He tried to contain his excitement, but it was still evident. Their hunt for Gerald continued, but they had no idea that they were already too late. A message came from Aleah’s hideout—Derrick had left the pack to deliver so
Amelia and Jeremy were still trapped in the strange world where Maxmillian Knight had left them. Although Amelia was with her son, Jason, she seemed unhappy being apart from her husband. It had been a month since Maxmillian abandoned her in the house with the midwife, who, according to Maxmillian, was responsible for her well-being.Jeremy did everything he could to stay on Maxmillian's good side and gain his trust. He protected Amelia as best as he could, even though he knew he lacked the true spirit of an Alpha."Mummy, when is Daddy coming to take us back home?" Jason asked innocently."Very soon, Jason," Amelia replied, groaning in pain.Heavily pregnant and nearing her due date, she walked slowly across the room, pacing from one side to the other with one hand on her lower back."This isn’t my first delivery; why is the pain so much?" Amelia asked, looking uncomfortable."The child is ready to come out. I think you're about to go into labor," the midwife replied coldly, preparing
The moment Alexander woke up, he found himself locked in a room, alongside his mother. Both of them felt weak and helpless. Alexander groaned in pain from the kick Aleah had landed on his face, which had knocked him out.“Where is this place?” Alexander asked Grace weakly.“I have no idea, son. But I think Maxmillian and Aleah brought us here,” Grace replied. She got up and tried to move, but realized there were heavy chains on her legs. “Alex?” Grace called out for help. But when Alexander stood up, he found himself chained as well.“What is this? How dare she chain us like dogs!” Alexander exclaimed, struggling to free himself.“What’s happening to you? Why are you so weak all of a sudden, Alex?” Grace asked.“I have no idea,” Alexander replied. He looked around the empty room. There were no windows, no other doors, and nothing else. The room had only a red bulb that shone dimly. Alexander continued struggling against the chains, but it was no use.“Don’t fight it,” Aleah said, barg
After pouring out thier anger to Maxmillian knight their Alpha. He knew deep down that it was time to let them go relieve themselves off the vengeance they felt."I'll lead the way" Maxmillian knight said.Aleah picked few of the older Shape-shifters who was strong and had witnessed the war between Hannah and her father. who also knew the ability Gerald possess."I want to come along too." A young shape -shifter said."You'd die in seconds" another one replied mockingly, causing stir laughter amongst themselves.Maxmillian bent down to the young one, smiled towards him, rubbing his fluffy bulgy hair. "You will get your chance one day to fight for your people. I can see how brave you are. How strong and willing you are ready to fight. But it's not today. Take care of the pack, and the people in it. I'm counting on you alright""Really?" The little boy said with his calm innocent voice."I'll be right back. Don't let me down" Maxmillian knight added."We have to leave now guys." Aleah c
Immediately after Maxmillian Knight shut the mini door, he rushed back to his sister, Aleah, who was fighting off some of the soldiers that had broken into their home."How many are there?" Maxmillian asked, his voice filled with fear that more might be coming."I don't know. So far, the guards at the gate have been able to keep them out," Aleah replied. "What about Amelia? Is she gone?""Yes, I hope she's far away by now," Maxmillian said. "What can I do to help? Should we leave?""Leave? Why would we leave? These people are here because of Amelia. If they don't find her, they'll go back," Aleah explained."And the book?" Maxmillian asked suddenly."Oh! That's right. Get the book; we need to leave here immediately," Aleah ordered."Where can we go without them following us?" Maxmillian questioned."I think we should go straight to Alexander," Aleah suggested."Are you crazy? Gerald is there—""You are stronger than Gerald; you just don't realize it. You are their Alpha. They need to
Amelia, together with Jeremy had settled in completely, they were now comfortable. Sitting at the dinning room, while Amelia told them everything she heard at Alexander's house. Meanwhile, Aleah kept staring at Jeremy. Looking unsure and feeling uncomfortable with his presence."I just can't trust him" Aleah said bluntly. "Common, if he had wanted to hurt me, he would have done it on our way here." Amelia added. "What if it was a plan between him and Alexander to come here? Have you considered the fact that he might even be a spy, and we are habouring him whole heartedly." "I have seen him before." Maxmillian said calmly, he looked straight at Jeremy, who eyes widened and became frightened. Scared that Maxmillian will remember "you were the one who Alexander sent to still the book.""Aha!!!... I knew it. He is a spy" Aleah bloated out. "Is that true?" Amelia asked Jeremy, shocked at what she just had. She didn't want to believe that she had brought an enemy into their house. "I'm
