“Cancel.” Zaire's cold voice interjected

“Boss, how about the meeting with Enigma Company, the international company that we've been wanting to collaborate with? The meeting is in the afternoon…” Assistant Onyx's hesitating voice drifted from the other end of the phone.

Zaire's eyes landed on Lotus leisurely before responding indifferently. “Cancel it.” He ordered, and without waiting for Assistant Onyx to say a word, he cut off the call.

Lotus squinted her eyes and yawned leisurely. She placed her phone on her lap and eyed Xaire in curiosity. “You aren’t going to the office today, also?”

Zaire is famously known to be a workaholic, but for two days now, Zaire didn’t go to work and only spent time with Lotus. It had completely dispelled Lotus' thought of hallucinating or dreaming.
