"What is the meaning of this, Aurora?!" I was surprised by what appeared to me when I entered the house. I almost ran out of blood when I saw what Mommy was holding. I just cursed inside. At this time I couldn't even move from where I was standing. "Answer me, Aurora! Are you pregnant?!" Yes, she was seen holding the pregnancy test I used last month. I can't blame it on one of my friends because she's not stupid enough to believe that would be my reason, after all, they're all lawyers here.
"I'm sorry, Mom." That was my only answer and my tears began to flow. I just bowed down because I was ashamed for them to see me cry. I don't seem to have anything to show them anymore.
I heard how my Mother walked towards me and I did not expect to receive a couple of slaps from her. She wasn't even satisfied and she slapped me again. I didn't do anything anymore because I know that it was all my fault, I will accept all her anger towards me.
"You are such a disgrace in this family! You gave us nothing else but shame!"
"Mom, it's okay." Ate Amber suddenly hugged me. That's when I felt the weakness of my legs, fortunately Ate was there, she was the one supporting me.
