Chapter 3

Only the moon gives light to Jace as they walks home.

"Hey, Cutie! Take a look at me. We only met yesterday and then you're getting mad at me." Jace's whining, he felt bad because he feels like the dog doesn’t want him anymore. This was the first time he would take care of a dog and he didn’t know what to do in such instances.

Clever frowned.

"Don't talk to me. Even if I can speak, I won't talk to you!"He was so annoyed! 

What right the man has to leave him and make him wait too long! his whole life, clever had never waited like that!

Jace did not know the reason or if he had done something wrong to the dog. 

the dog is still sulking when they got home.

"Hey, cutie! Hey!" He tries to coax the dog. His voice cracked and he seemed to be crying.

It was inevitable that Clever would feel sorry for the man.

"Oh shoot! Don't look miserable, how can I be mad at you!" He said irritably.

How can the man look miserable? Clever couldn't believe it's possible!

The man removed the leash, so Clever quickly lay down on the sofa and pretended to be asleep again. 

The man sighed and quickly approached the dog.

"Hey cutie, look at me, I'm sorry if you're left alone there. I can't leave you here at home alone because your wound isn't healed yet and I can't take you to work because we'll be scolded."  The man said softly to the dog. 

But Clever didn't budge, he really ignored the man and he had no intention of paying attention to the him.

The man stroked his hair, he didn't know but he felt a peace and strange relief. But he still didn't change his mind to ignore the man.

He was still angry with him, if only the man knew how many people had been petting him all day.

He would still accept it if the man one who petted him all day, but no!

Who are they to pet him! He's Alpha after all!

The man was upset because the dog didn't even react to what he did, he pulled it to look at him, Clever didn't complain.

"I'm sorry, Cutie!" Jace said and he suddenly kissed the dog. 

Clever Eye's Widened and his body become stiffed!

Within three seconds of their lips touching, Clever's form changed.

And when the man's eyes opened, he quickly punched the man in front of him out of shock. 

"Who are you? Why are you kissing me?" Shocked and frightened the man asked.

Clever grabbed his jaw, he didn't know if he would get angry because the man punched him or if he would be grateful that the man was a bit drunk.

"Hey, just calm down." He said and slowly approached the man. But the man quickly got up and took the broom and pointed it at him. 

"Just be there! Don't come near me, Pervert man!" it screamed at him.

"Ha! I'm really the pervert of the two of us? You're the one kissing all of a sudden!" That’s what Clever wanted to shout but he restrained himself. 

They are like children running around on a small sofa. 

"Don't chase me! Stop! you perverted man! I don't wanna kiss you again!" The man whining like a child.

Clever can't help himself to click his tongue out of frustration.

While they running around, the man saw his phone. He immediately grabbed it and dialed the police station.

"H-hey! What do you think you're doing? Why are you calling the police?" Clever was immediately trying to snatch the man's cellphone.

"D-don't come near me! Just stay where you stand!" The man shouted again when Clever tried again to approach him.

"Stop that! Don't call the police! Put that broom down!" Clever didn't know what to do anymore, they were like children circling around a small sofa. 

"Hello, this is police station xxxxx"

They both stopped in action when they heard the voice on the other line, Clever's eyes immediately widened at the man as if threatening him not to complain to the police. 

But the man didn't bug and immediately reported to the police, Clever didn't do anything there, he just sat down and sighed. 

The stress he has been feeling since he was with the man is too much, he would probably die sooner when he is with the man than fight with his enemies.

The man immediately ran to the door when someone knocked on it, he quickly opened it and two men in police uniforms stand there.

"Is this Mr. Jace Loren's house?" a policeman asked and Jace immediately nodded and opened the door wider. 

"It's good that you came right away, a man suddenly entered my house without my knowledge, he was on the sofa and sitting!" Jace said quickly to them and pointed to the place where his sofa was placed. 

The two policemen looked at where he pointed and looked at each other at the same time. 

"Are you sure Sir about what you're saying?" Assured by a policeman, he immediately nodded.

"Yes, let's--" Jace stopped talking as he turned to where his sofa was. A dog.

JUST A DOG ON THE SOFA ?!

he immediately blinked, he even rubbed his own eyes to make sure he was seeing correctly. 

"Sir, it looks like you need a break." A policeman said pityingly to the man. 

Jace didn't say a word to them, they said goodbye but the young man was left still standing by the door. 

Jace slowly closed the door and approached the dog. He stared at it and wondered if he was just hallucinating because he was tired, drunk or if everything he saw was true. 

The man got closer to the dog, while Clever move backed away. 

Clever  didn't think he would return to his wolf form right away, but that wasn't his problem. His problem now is the man who seems to be going crazy!

Again he backed away because Jace came closer to him. Jace grabbed his face and slowly brought it closer to his and trying to kissed him again!

Clever quickly got out of there and ran away from the man. Wait, guess it's not just Jace who's going crazy but him too! 

"Why don't you kiss me! Come here, I'll kiss you so I can find out if what I saw is true!" Jace shout sounded like crazy. Clever feels intense horror because of this. 

"Hurry up! Come here!" It was like a child teasing Clever to come over to kiss Jace again. 

"Just now he was telling me a pervert, who is now the pervert of the two of us!" Clever said proudly.

Isn't Jace aware that they are both men to repeat the kiss that just happened! 

The man stared at the dog, Clever pretending that he was innocent and didn't know what the man was saying.

Clever even tilted his head like a real dog just watching the man's actions as if confused. 

Sometimes, Clever is just thankful for the man's naiveness, because if he wasn't naive it would have been obvious earlier that he wasn't a normal dog.

"Impossible! You're too cute to be a pervert, Cutie." He said as if convincing himself that he was just hallucinating.

"Yes, I'm innocent, Darling." Clever nodded in agreement with the man who seemed to be mad because he was already talking to himself.

And all at once Clever blinked his husky eyes to show his purity when Jace turned back to him.

"Yeah. How could a dog turn into a man?" the man replied as if he had heard him. 

"Cutie is innocent." That's what the man said over and over and gradually closed his eyes until he fell asleep.

Maybe it was also due to lack of sleep and alcohol, so the man fell asleep. Add to this the late of time, it's almost midnight. 

Clever sighed...

Finlly the man is asleep!

"Maybe Jace will think he was just dreaming." Hoping so, Clever said.

The next morning, Clever's guard was still up on himself, maybe later the man would suddenly grab him and kiss him, again he felt an intense horror of the thought. But Jace wasnt like that, as if nothing had happened as he acted. 

Like the first time they were together, jace cooked food and gave him some dog foods.

"Oh! for Moon goodness sake! No more dog food, please!" Clever mumbling.

It's been a few days since he ate only dogfoods, it looks like he'll be a dog forever if he doesn't return to his normal form immediately. 

"Cutie! Come on." Jace was with him, he immediately approached Jace but he couldn't eat anymore, he was already tired of the taste and smell.

The man noticed that he doesn't want to eat.

"Cutie, why don't you eat?" There was a concerned question to him. He immediately looked at what Jace was eating, he was really hungry for normal food, he didn't want dog food anymore!

"Please! Please! Hope you understand what I mean!" Clever prayed.

The man stood up and took another plate and filled with normal food, that's what he gave the dog.

Clever ate it right away.

Finally!

Being able to eat a normal meal!

Clever can't help him self but to eat like a beggar reason why he didn't notice that the man was just watching him. 

"So, the foods I cooked is what you want, not the dogfoods I always give you."  Jace whispered.
