Chapter 8

A fragrant smell wafted around.

"Come on guys! I'm done cooking, let's eat." The man called them.

"uhm, whatever you cooked it's always smells good, you're the best chef my friend." Frio's flattery to the man.

Clever couldn't help but clicked his tongue.

"tsk, this man's flirtation is really different." he said while looking badly at the man.

"Don't fool me, Frio. Hurry and eat so you can go home early, it's a bit dark already outside and you know how  dangerous now on the road." command of the man. 

"You heard, hurry up and eat and left immediately, Jace's the one who told you so." Clever mumbled.

"If it's dangerous on the road, why don't you just let me sleep here?" he even raised his eyebrows and smiled beautifully.

"What this sh*tty head doing!" Clever couldn't take the face of the man who's trying to act cute.

"Oh! for moon goodness's sake Frio, Stop. You make me feel creep the way you act." Jace said so Frio pouted.

"Are you aware that you're hurting my feelings, yeah?" Said by the man and acted like he was hurt by Jace words. 

Jace laughed at what his friend was doing. 

"It's not too far to your house e, so no need for you to sleep here and if you do, where do you think you can sleep here anyway?" Jace asked.

"Where else? Ofcourse, next to you." Frio joked.

Clever almost complained when the man spoke quickly.

"No, a big no. My dog will be next to me when I'm sleep and he's the only one who can." Jace proudly said it.

"Oh! c'mon dude where both men. Let me sleep here tonight, yeah? I will cook tomorrow? I'll do the dishes tonight?" Frio tried to coax the man.

"No, you can't. That's final." Jace said like he was dismissed the topic.

His friend can't complain but on the other side Clever want to laugh.

"Dream on Dude, I'm the only one who can lay next to him, he said." Clever said happily.

After they ate, although Frio doesn't want to go home he still bid goodbye.

"I'm going home, thanks for the delicious food. Won't you really stop me from coming home and invite me to just sleep here?" Frio asked his friend.

"No, so go home, I still have Job tomorrow so go away." Repelling the man.

"Yeah, you really want me to leave." it waved at the man and the dog but Clever just averted his gaze. 

"Why are you waving at me? Are we close?" irritated Clever.

The man approached Clever and touched his head. 

"I'm going to sleep, Cutie. Come by my side." it called softly to him, Clever quickly followed and climbed into bed. 

"Hey, I'm finally going to sleep in a real bed, I'm not comfortable on the little sofa I'm sleeping on." Clever said with relieved.

Clever was surprised when the man hugged him.

"Oh, c'mon don't hug me." Clever whimpered.

"Cutie, don't leave, please?" it says softly again. 

Clever sighed.

"Okay, but only tonight will I let you hug me because you fed me delicious food." Forced to say Clever and they slept while the man embraced him.

The heat of the sunlight hitting the man's face woke him up. He slowly opened his eyes and raised one hand to block the light.

"Woof!" Clever greeted him warmly when he saw the man awake, he was hungry and excited to eat, because there was no denying that the man was good at cooking. 

"Good morning, Cutie. Are you hungry already? I'm going to cook, by the way I'll leave you here at home okay? A few days have passed and your wound is slowly healing, I'll just leave you food for lunch. " 

After they ate, the man got dressed to go in his Job.

"Cutie, I'm leaving. Just behave huh? I'll be right back too. Don't move around here. Be careful, mwuah!" The man was still flying and kissed the dog.

Reason for Clever to cringe.

"Seriously, fying kissed? What is he kidding?" Shivering Clever said as the door closed. 

But before long there was a knock on it, and Clever quickly jumped on the doorknob to open it.

"Master," That was the man's immediately said as the door opened. 

"What are you doing here?" He asked but the staff quickly entered and closed the door. 

"Master! I have one good news and two bad news for you, which one do you want to know first?" Question it.

"What nonsense is this, go ahead goodnews first." 

"We've found a way for you to get back to normal!" excited story of his man to Clever, he stopped for a moment at what he heard. 

"What again, please?" Clever didn't know but he was nervous, hoping he had just heard something wrong.

"We've found an antidote to get you back to normal, Master!" It repeats. Clever doesn't know what to react to.

"Master? Why don't you seem happy master?" wrinkled when Clever's man asked, because he noticed that the man didn't seem happy.

"I'm happy, what's the bad news?" "The badnews, you just have to take the antidote 2 times a day, because otherwise you'll go back to your wolf form." it says.

"So, I'm not officially back to normal yet?" Clever's voice was a little lively.

"Yes, Master. But you need to return to your place, if you don't come back they might take your place."

"B-but," Clever hesitated. 

"A bad news, Master. They'll soon find out where you are and if you haven't left here yet, even the man who is rude will get into trouble." The man said. 

There, Clever's whole body went cold, he didn't know what to do, he can't decide. 

"I'm leaving right away too, Master. Tomorrow I'll come back again to pick you up, it's up to you whether you come back or let me take your place and ruin the man with you now." It stood up and bowed before leaving.

Clever adjusted himself. 

"Jace." Clever whispered.

It's almost midnight but Jace still isn't coming, Clever has been wandering around the house. 

"What if my opponent found out I was here and they hit Jace." It says to itself.

"Can I follow him? Yes, that's right, I'll just pick him up," he convinced himself and was about to open the door when it opened on its own and the drunk man entered. 

"oh! Hey Cutie! I missed you, I'm sorry and I came home late." It was limping towards him.

Clever could smell the alcohol in the man.

"What's the matter? Why did you drink again?" Clever didn't know what to do.

"ha? are you talking Cutie? are you asking me why I'm drinking? hihi my co-workers had a welcome party with the new employees so that's it! they made me drink so much alcohol but I can't say no to them, they'll said I'm kill joy!" it smiled innocently.

"You understand me?" Clever asked in shock, but the man didn't answer again, Clever just thought that the man was really drunk. He can't take care of it if he's in wolf form. 

He immediately remembered that his man had left one before he left, he did not know how long the effect would last and he was sure that if he used the antidote he would not be able to stay next to the man. But this time, he could think of no other way. 

"I'll do it for you, Darling." He whispered to the man and kissed him.

in a moment he changed his form, he was about to walk to where the antidote was placed when the man suddenly stopped him. 

Clever felt nervous because he might be confused again because there was a man in his house. 

But that is not what happened. 

Crying.....

Jace was crying..

"Where are you going, Cutie? Are you leaving too? Will you leave me too? Promise you won't leave me, won't you?" it's like a child forcing him to promise.

Clever just looked up in frustration.

"Please, don't make it hard for me, Darling." Then he removed the grips of the man in his wrist.

Clever's hand was cold and trembling as he held the small bottle containing the antidote. 

He took the syringe and transferred the antidote and he stabbed himself with it. He felt dizzy because of the drug he intake.

He could feel the flow of  the medicine in his body. 

Hot ...

It's so hot like he was burning!

"Argh, f*ck!" Clever cursed, his knees was trembled. 

The drug is too strong, but after a few minutes Clever felt relieved, finally the effect of the drug was gone.

Clever immediately approached where the man was lying while speaking alone. 

"Oh? You came back pervert! Don't kiss me again, if you do I'll order my dog ​​to bite you!" Said by the man while pointing at him.

"Yes, I'll will not kiss you. Come let me carry to the bed." He whispered to the man.

Clever slowly lifted the man, only now he noticed that the man was not that heavy, it was as if he was carrying a woman. 

Why was it that he only now noticed such simple things when he had to leave the man? As he lay with the man on the bed, she stared at his face lit by the moonlight. From its thick eyebrows, to its closed eyes with long eyelashes, its pointed nose, and more distracting reddish lips of the man. He couldn't help but swallow his own saliva.

"I'm sorry, Darling. I can't stay by your side like you want. This is for your sake, I'll be back to where I belong now." Clever said sadly and kissed the man's forehead and called his person using Jace's phone.

"Hello, I'm coming back."

After that, only the closing of the door was heard...
