Chapter 2 - Bittersweet

[Kylie's pov]

Running towards my best friend Jody, in his slick, sexy beast of a car, squealing like a maniac. I carefully open the passenger side door knowing he'll kick my ass to Timbaktu if I hurt his baby, but what am I saying I'll kick myself there, this ride is to die for.

"Woah who tickled your noodle?" he jokes with wide eyes, referring to my squealing and overly joyful expression this morning.

Let me tell you this has and will never be the case again, I am not and will never be a morning person or early for that matter.

"I have just received the greatest news I could ever have received!" I squeal out loudly.

"What finally getting that laser hair removal appointment, damn those eyebrows are in desperate need" he teases, chuckling while finally starting the engine making our way to school.

In too good of a mood for him to burst my bubble "As you know that prestige Art school that accepted me two years ago?

Yeah I know I said I wasn't going because of the parentals but this morning they said that they finally accept it and even bought me a place out there in Jacksonville. I even leave tonight." I say all in one breath excitedly.

"Jacksonville huh? Im so proud of you little one" he says pinching my cheeks while winking as we pull into the parking lot of our school. "My parents are having a going away dinner tonight for me, will you and the boys come?"

The reason why this conversation went so well is because for two years straight it's all I've talked about.

Telling them every five minutes I'll be leaving. We had serious conversations about it three or four times so they are already use to the fact that I'm leaving.

"You know neither the boys or I would miss it, we'll be there and on time, we don't need no butt whipping from yo momma" he smiles down at me.

God I'm going to miss him. Just as I'm about to tell him, Jason, Jackson, Mason, Hudson and Kyle comes rushing to the car. We get out and I greet them all with a hug "Hey boys, ready for the last day of high-school?"

I receive murmurs of "fuck yes's" and "hell yeahs" I chuckle and begin to make my way into school. They all follow.

As usual when we step into school halls everyone parts and starts whispering. The boys and I are kind of popular but not the type in the movies. We got good grades and are just friendly with everyone. But girls and boys will be girls and boys.

Girls hating on me for having all of my boys attention and then fan girling their every move. Boys wanting to be better and be that guy. Ugh teenagers.

Luckily for me I didn't have to deal with horny teenage boys because none of them dared, to intimidated with theses idiots always surrounding me.

Sometimes though, I feel as if I missed the whole highschool sweetheart experience but heyyy who knows what's out there for me.

Yess you guessed it, virgin lips, virgin pussy, god I haven't ever even been on a date.

Not wanting to sour my mood, I drag the boys to the library, its tradition, all seniors engrave their names on the back shelves on the last day of school.

I've been waiting for this day since 8th grade, I was not even this excited for graduation or homecoming.

I guess doing this, knowing our names will forever be engraved on this shelf together kind of gives me the hope and security of all of us always being together, always in each other's lives.

Ugh I know im emotional but man theses guys have been with me through everything and I just don't know life without them.

"Right you first princess" Mason says handing me the pocket knife, I engrave my initials handing it over to Jason, and so it goes until all of us are finished.

We move away giving other seniors a chance.

"Guy's promise me that no matter what we'll never lose touch?" I say almost teary eyed.

They all coo and come in for a group hug. "C'mon little one you never getting rid of us, good luck on finding a husband" Jackson says making everyone chuckle.

"Husband? She won't even get to find her first love" Jody says seriously, later joining in on the burst of laughter from the boys.

"Ugh you guys are the worse" I exclaim pouting, stomping off. They jog after me "But you loveeee us" Hudson screams in a girly voice making me giggle and the boys double over in laughter.

Everyone in the hallway just gives us weird and funny looks. No one questioning a thing because this is the norm.

The bell signals for class but since this is the last day, school is out of control and no one makes a move to go to class.

My stomach grumbles loudly, "Ohhh shit" "Make way people!" "We need food right now" Jody, Jason and Kyle scream simultaneously.

Making the rest of us laugh.

"Drama queens" I sing out chuckling. "Hell no, have you seen yourself when you hungry? Satan's spawn I shit you not!" Jackson snorts out.

Making everyone laugh again, I look everywhere but at them knowing I can't deny it.

We make our way to the cafeteria, ordering our food, paying and finding seats. It's odd seeing the cafeteria this full during first period but who cares I get to eat!

We all sit down and start munching, the boys being disgusting boys talking with food in their mouths me laughing at their antics. Then I remember I have news to tell them!

"Hey assholes!" I scream out over their conversation. They all turn to look at me with a 'what do you want now' look. I roll my eyes, I'm so not spoilt!

"So my parents surprised me this morning. They said I can study at that Art school and I'm going to go stay in Jacksonville! Im so excited!

Ohh you all invited to my farewell dinner tonight. Yes I know last minute but my parents just surprised me this morning!" I squeal excitedly.

They all quiet for a minute before overly dramatically squealing out like girls making me laugh. "We so happy for you little one"

Kyle says smiling while everyone nods in agreeing excitedly.

Looking at all of them my smile fades "Im going to miss yall" I sob out. Jody is the first one to grab me into a tight hug.

"Stop with the water works, we'll miss you too and we'll visit every weekend, come on you wanted this for like uhm forever?" Jackson lectures, trying to be all tough and serious making me giggle through the tears.

He's right, "You right, it's just there hasn't been a day since we met that we haven't seen each other, it's going to be a hard change" I say sadly, they all smiling at me sadly.

"Everything comes to an end, everything changes, nothing stays the same but I swear to you on my life our friendship and the bond all of us share will never fade, this is a new chapter in your life, embrace it, just know we'll always be there for you if you need us. Ohh and we will be calling everyday!" Mason says making me smile.

Jason nods dramatically while sneakily stealing my fry.

"Heyy!" I yell trying to get it back but he pops it in his mouth before I can.

"Oh its on" I growl out going to grab a handful of his fries shoving it into my mouth.

Smiling victoriously putting my pearly whites on show. He goes to grab more of mine but I pull my tray away accidentally smashing all of its contents on Jody.

Everyone stops what they doing and I'm frozen in my seat.

Slowly I turn to look at Jody who has his eyes narrowed onto me "Oops" I say smiling sweetly.

Jody then takes the food still sticking to his clothing and slowly brings it to my face smearing it all over me.

Screaming out in frustration, I grab Jackson's food and throw it at Jody, hitting Kyle in the process. From there it went to me and the boys throwing our food at each other to another student screaming "FOOD FIGHT" and then the whole cafeteria was in chaos.

Food flying everywhere, girls screaming and running boys hitting their targets and laughing at our stuck up girly girls dramatically screaming.

Me laughing my ass off because I'm always causing shit.

Somehow we escape the cafeteria and make our way to the abandoned building at the back of the school.

Jackson takes the hose pipe, opens the tap and starts chasing us like a mad man. "Jackson I swear to God, I'll grind your balls, chop off your dick and feed it to you, don't you dare!" I scream at him while running away from him.

Well not fast enough because I hear him screaming right behind me "Scared of a little water? Stop being a girl, you need a wash anyway!" and starts hosing me off while im frozen to my spot screaming like a banshee.

"You'll pay for this, you little big shit!" I scream once he goes after the rest of them. I know im suppose to be mad but this is just hilarious.

Once we all calmed down we make our way to the parking lot. Smiling like idiots. "Guys remember don't be late, don't want momma kicking yall asses.

Also thank you for today, adding to my crazy and fun times to remember, I swear never a dull moment" I say chuckling softly.

"You bet your little clown ass we'll be there, and you make our day, always a good sport" Hudson says winking making us all laugh.

I greet them all with a hug before jumping into Jody's sexy beast.
