09 Interview (1)

Naomi smiled, she was lucky to have a big sister like Seira who helped her and her family a lot. With everything Seira did to her, she would not waste her opportunity to enter a giant company like Louis Studios. There was a thought that made her a little curious, she wanted to ask Seira but she was a little confused about how to start. She struggled with her mind, she took her phone and she looked for Seira's contact. She made a call for her and when Seira picked up the call, Naomi started to ask, "Um... Seira..." as she called her big sister, 

"Yes, what is it?" 

"Are Louis Studios have a good salary?" she asked carefully, hoping Seira would not be offended

"They are, especially if you're already a senior. If you are the one who is elected, I will be the manager. And this company is environmentally friendly.”

"Wow, you're the manager? Seriously?!" said Naomi in surprise. She didn't expect it before,

"That's right, coincidentally, our senior 3D artist was about to quit. So before the seat is empty, we want to fill it. We hoped Adrian's replacement candidate can adapt to the works and projects that we usually do," said Naomi at length.

"Okay, thanks for accepting me, Seira!" Naomi said as she almost screamed in happiness. 

Seira shook her head, "Remember, you were chosen because of your product and CV, not because of me..." she said with deep emphasis.

Naomi nodded in understanding, but instantly, she fell silent when she remembered something,

"When I'm elected, what will people say, if they know I'm your cousin? I'm afraid there will-"

"It's just some stupid people. The most important thing is you passed with your effort. I don't care what will people say, and you don't have to think too much about people's opinions, especially for they are those who don't know you very well. The point is, you were accepted by hard work, keep that in mind.”

She nodded, "I understand... thank you again, Seira,"

"Yes. Come on... Prepare yourself for the interview, okay... don't ruin your interview, especially if you're late," said Seira who was nodded by Naomi,

"Okay, Seira. Thank you for your caring,"

“Okay… I have to go. Bye,"

“Bye,” Naomi said, ending their conversation for today.

Naomi removed her phone from her ear, she sighed as she raised her head, staring at the ceiling of her room. She couldn't contain her excitement, it was just that she was unsure of himself was also muttering in his head.

What if she doesn't pass?

Will she continue to rely on freelancers whose income is unstable?

Hah… just now she was happy because of the opportunity she got. But think again she was just a very ordinary person, which made her unsure of herself. Naomi lay down and her eyes were completely fixed on the ceiling of her room.

She sighed, was it true if she overthinks like this all day?

Naomi closed her eyes, relaxing her body for a moment before opening her eyes again. There is no time for negativity. She has to practice to stay attractive.

“I have to get into Louis Studio!” she said with a fist she threw in the air.

Naomi sat, waiting for her turn to enter the room where she would later be interviewed. Sitting cross-legged on her left, her right foot was on top of her left leg which can't stop swaying. The atmosphere around her was completely strained as if everyone else seemed to look normal in the atmosphere that was tense for her. 

She did not expect it, the people around her did not show their nervousness at all. In contrast to her who was openly very nervous. Countless times she sighed, but certainly, she was confident in her black and white appearance.

One by one people were called and this time there were 5 people out of 10 who had gathered here before. Seeing one by one the people who started to be called and left, made Naomi even more nervous. She even sweated even though it was very cold in the room. She wiped the sweat off her forehead a few times and also she sighed to reassure herself.

While she was calming himself down, a girl sitting beside her was greeted her, making her turn her gaze to her,

"Hi..." said the tall girl politely,

Naomi nodded while greeting the girl politely, "Yes? Is there anything I can help with?" Naomi asked.

That girl approached Naomi as if she wanted to whisper something to her,

"Are you nervous?" said the girl quietly. Naomi looked at the girl and nodded slightly. She was Ranti, who smiled sweetly because she felt the same way as herself. Ranti was nervous, it's just that she tried to hide it on her cold face.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ranti," she said with a friendly smile.

"How old are you?" asked Naomi curiously.

"Hmm, I'm still 22 years old, still a fresh graduate..."

Naomi nodded in understanding, "I'm Naomi, nice to meet you too,"

"Nice to meet you too," she said, reaping the girl's friendly smile. Naomi was a little jealous of Ranti. To pursue a career at the age of 28 years, according to her was too late. The fresh graduate period is a good time to pursue a career.

“I'm really worried… I don't have much experience working in a company. I only dared to send my CV and boom! I did not expect if I was called for an interview, "said Ranti at length,

“Hmm… I'm also not very experienced to be a senior 3D artist. So far I've been freelance as a 3D modeler and animator. Sometimes I also work on 2D and 3D character designs," said Naomi openly.

"Is that so..." she said to which Naomi nodded.

Just as Ranti was about to open her mouth, a woman appeared and called Naomi to immediately enter the room where the interview will begin. Naomi glanced at Ranti who gave her encouragement through her body language. She nodded and took a deep breath before she walked over to the woman.
