Wake up, Mary! I open my eyes to see Bloom over me and she helps me get out of Asker’s room.

What is going on? I ask.

“Your dad, together with my mom and dad just drove into the pack.” They are here to get us. Bloom says.

I get up from the bed and floor Bloom out. Although, my pants are stained with blood at my foot side..,my leg is better and not bleeding like it was. I see Asker and he gazes at me.

There is something about his eyes and how he looks at me but I cannot explain. However, behind him there is a man who has similar features to him and by the energy surrounding him…it looks like he could be the alpha of the pack. Asker’s father.

I cannot even maintain eye contact with him because of how dangerous his expression looks. Fiona, Asker’s mom helps me down the stairs and I really appreciate it.

“Our parents are here.” Bloom says and the door opens revealing my dad who is devastated to see my leg but worst of all, the room is dead silent.
