That was weird.

Everything about how it felt to meet that girl was weird and I don’t even know how to explain it. Lucas and Simon are behind me after we head out of the school—we consistently take walk in the woods because of how quiet it is.

And as we are walking, about to get call it quits and head back to our car that is packed at the side of the road. I hear a painful howl and we all snarl at the sound. It sounds like a wolf who is in pain and in that instance, my heart literally fold as is I could feel the pain too.

We are not sure what direction it came from, but we turn around and are ready to take on anything that stands in front of us. With our night vision and heightened senses, we begin to search for where the sound emanated from.

I growl as I get a whiff and a tree snaps.

Hey, don’t hurt me! It’s a girls voice and her eyes are filled with tears. I recognize her from an hour ago, she collected the phone from me that was dropped on the floor.
