Where these paparazzi waiting for us? I repeat exactly the same question to Adrian who doesn't seem surprised as me, perhaps he always experience this being a billionaire and a CEO.

"No!" Adrian says with a smile.
"I ask because most of the men here look like CEOs, donned in suits and seem to be talking business like those ones in groups without girls."
"Yes, majority are CEOs like me but there are other celebrities here, artistes, footballers and lots more."
I sit on the seat, opposite Adrian's. Acting like the perfect gentleman on a date, he pulls up the decorated seat so I can sit before he pulls his from the table filled with expensive drinks and takes a seat.
"I'm thrilled to attend today's event with you."
"Really?" I say with a smile. He nods, passes his hand across the table and takes hold of mine, squeezing it gently, with a lustful grin. The air gradually gets filled with cigarette smoke, alcohol and jubilation. "You know I haven't cared to ask what this is for? It just came to my mind now, why are we at the center of this place, like we are the celebrant?" In my mind, it's just a plain question asked out of a puzzle. We should be among the crowd and not up here, getting a center attraction.
A bit of nervousness comes over Adrian, he grins shyly and looks down.
"Is everything alright?" Right now, he's acting like one who has something to say but fears how the person he wants to talk to would react. "Come on, tell me what you want to say. What's going on?"
"It's about us!"
"How, I don't get you?"
"I have been looking for you for the past three years, you packed out from where you lived, changed your line and I couldn't contact you. Why I did that was because I was downcasted, frustrated and I was planning on how to develop myself, but in the process I ended up building my life upon the destruction of another's. He gets emotional, sighing heavily and I fear tears would come forth from his eyes the next second. I squeeze his hands.
"Can't we talk about this later, you wanna spoil the mood we are in tonight? Come on!" I encourage him and this does a big deal to him, I see his face begin to brighten. Delight pushes through me because I never wanted him to break down in the midst of everyone, spoiling everything.
"I would really love to hear your story but I feel you can't tell it here without breaking down?"
"Yes, it's really sad."
"Whatever, keep that till later. I don't want to see your tears." I chuckle and he laughs. He pours the wine into the two glasses and passes one to me.
"Thanks," I mutter.
"Let's chill with this, dinner will be brought in the next few minutes by the waiters."
The music fills the air, consuming the minds of everyone and overwhelming us with the aura of a classic dinner party. The MC is not helping matters, what a great hype man he is. I have never seen a MC with great vibes like me. "You really did a great job in choosing such a MC." I comment in between a sip of my wine.

After we have taken our dinner of varieties, we file onto the stage to dance and pop champagne. I never hoped to have so much fun like this, the effect of the alcohol slowly creeps up, not only this, a deep desire for each other finds its way into our hearts.
All of a sudden, Adrian's lips come crashing into me, we dance more and more with the crowd shifting for us.
