Chapter 82— Unlucky Fate.

~MERRY POV~

I am having dinner with my mother after a long time, damn.

When I am with my mother, I rarely eat with my hands.

Even today, my mother is lavishing me with love.

"Tasty!" I sounded while taking a bite of food in my mouth.

My mother smiled at me while feeding me another bite.

"Delicious!" I sounded while chewing my food and shaking my head.

The more she fed me, the more delicious the food became, transporting me to paradise.

"Mummy, you are the best chef in the world!" I screamed as I opened my mouth to take another bite, enjoying it like a child.

She stroked my hair with her fingers and made me look at her.

"Did you miss me?" I inquired, and she nodded in response, opening her arm in a gesture. "I MISSED YOU A LOT."

I could not help but hug her, wrapping my hands around her waist and resting my face against her chest.

I felt very peaceful in my mother's arms, and I knew I would never feel safer anywhere else.
