Oh my goodness this guy is so fabulous, I want to laugh so hard. But offering to buy me stuff on his friend's black card was over the top. I don’t need a man’s help or want help. I’ve been taking care of myself since I was ten years old, the same age as Ella. So glad she gets to be a kid, she is the sweetest kid.

I’ve been wondering if her dad was on the board of this private school why hadn’t she been going there. I am glad she has been at the public school but if I had that pull I would be using it. I can’t stop thinking about switching jobs. I wonder if Vivian is even thinking about it.

She can’t stop making goggle eyes at Nash. He is nice looking, but hell not as good looking as Turner. I just hope she is t falling in love because of the money. She is a great person and I love her. But she falls in love with the wrong kind of guys.

Nash seems to be nice, cause since he came over to the talk he hasn’t looked at another woman. It seemed like he only had eyes for Vivian. Time will only tell. I realized Turner was looking at me. These guys are sexy. I have to give them that.

“Guys I hate to leave but I need to get home,” I stated.

“Oh girl stay! What do you need to get home to?” Noah asked.

“I have papers to grade.”

“I could help you with that, I am good with papers.”

“Thanks Noah, but I can handle it just fine.”

“I can’t make girl friends at all.”

“It’s not you, I can handle it.”

“Oh you are the strong independent type.”

“You got that right,” Vivian said.

She has to open her mouth about me on this. I don’t need any help. There is nothing a man can give me. Besides the sex, I have toys for that.

“Can you get the waiter to bring the check?” I asked Nash.

“You down owe anything, it’s a gift for being there for my Ella,” Nash said.

“I can pay for my own food, so since you want to be difficult, this should cover mine plus a tip,” I explained as I laid down a hundred dollar bill.

I stood to leave and Turner stood too. “Can I walk you out at least?” He asked.

“I think I can make it to my car just fine. See you tomorrow Ella, you all have a great evening.”

“See you tomorrow Miss. Jackson, please be careful driving home,” Ella replied.

“I will sweetie. Vivian, remember we have 2 more days of school before Vacation.”

“You suck Nova, and the most annoying friend in the world.”

“That is why you love me. Someone has to keep you on schedule and help you behave yourself.”

I turned to walk out and Noah said,”It’s time for me to head out too. I have shopping to do.”

“You have fun Noah,” I said.

I walked out of the restaurant and Noah walked behind me. I tried to pay no attention to him but he was rambling on about things I did not even understand. What is with these men? I mean they can’t leave me alone. I got to my car and there was someone standing there, I stopped dead in my tracks.

“Robert, why are you here?” I asked.

“I thought you had papers to grade,” was his reply.

“I got dinner with Vivian first.”

“Plus a couple of rich men I see. Is that why you won’t go out with me? I am not rich enough.”

“I don’t need any money from any man. Ella invited me so we could say good-bye. She will be switching schools and I grew fond of that little girl.”

“Oh so you just want a man with a kid.”

“Can I help you, Nova?” Noah asked as he came up behind me.

“This is none of your business man, you can move along,” Robert bucked up to Noah.

“I will ask the lady if it’s any of my business,” I heard a weird tone in Noah’s voice.

“Move along no one needs help from a sissy boy,” Robert had the nerve to say.

“I can show you sissy boy if you don’t leave Miss. Nova alone.”

Oh goodness please don’t let there be a fight. Looking at Noah I could tell he was well built and could hold his own. But I didn’t want to see anyone hurt.

“Gentlemen, I don't care about a pissing contest right now. So Robert please get out of my way and Noah I hope to see you again.”

I pushed Robert out of my way and walked to my car door. He grabbed my arm and the next thing I know I was pushed up against my car. I was hurt but not bad, I could have sworn I heard a growl. Then the next thing I know, Robert’s body was no longer pushed up against me.

“Nova are you okay?” I hear Vivian ask.

Then I kind of passed out from the stress of the evening and the hurt I felt. But I swear I could hear voices fighting and arguing even though I couldn’t see anything.

What the hell was Robert’s issue? Did he follow me here? I thought these things then my mind went blank.
