Turner POV

Nash came out of the back office, then stopped dead in his tracks as he sniffed the air and looked over at our table. What the hell is he smelling? His eyes met mine and he was lost in a daze as he linked me, “The blonde is my mate, you said she was human right.”

I just nodded my head, with my wolf hearing I heard him say, “SHIT.”

“This is crazy and they are best friends, we have to get them on our lands. I can’t leave my mate unprotected,” he mindlinked.

“You think I want to walk away from my Luna.”

“We have to find a way to get them on pack land.”

“School is the fastest way, so we have to make that happen soon.”

“I will make some calls,” he said walking to the table.

His eyes landed on Vivian and I could already tell he was just as smitten as me. The ladies hadn’t noticed him coming yet. Ella yelled, “Uncle Nash, come meet my teachers.”

The ladies looked up and Vivian’s eyes met Nash and you could see the attraction. This is a plus for Nash, and maybe myself if Vivian likes Nash she can help me with Nova. I have high hopes now that I see this connection between them.

“Hello my pretty princess,” he says while kissing the top of her head, but keeps his eyes on Vivian. “Hello beautiful ladies, welcome to my restaurant.”

“Hello thank you for getting us a table,” Nova stated.

“Yes, thank you,” Vivian said with a red blush on her cheeks.

Oh this was going to be fun to watch Nash put on his charm with this woman. When first meeting her I didn’t think she would blush like this. There must really be something about the mask that was really getting under her skin. My eyes went to Nova, she was looking at her friend with a little smirk. Wondering what she was thinking killed me, only if she could feel the bond. I wonder if she feels a small pull to me even with her being human.

“Have a seat Nash, I know you have everyone working so you don’t have too,” I stated.

“That is the advantage of being boss,” he sat down with us.

“This is an amazing restaurant, I am so excited about trying the food,” Vivian stated.

“The bill is on me tonight ladies, so help yourself,” he said.

“We can’t ask you to do that for us, we can pay for our own food,” Nova said with a little sass.

“Speak for yourself, this handsome man can buy me dinner anytime,” said Vivian.

Nova just rolled her eyes at her. My girl was going to be a handful, she is very independent. Goddess please help me because I don’t want to screw up my second chance. My wolf is so happy in my head right now that we are getting another chance. We both know Luna makes an Alpha stronger no matter if human or wolf.

We both want to protect her with everything we have. With the look in Nash’s eyes I could tell he felt the same way as I did.

Being so happy for Nash, finally finding his mate. I had Ruby for a few years and got Ella, but Nash has been waiting for his mate to commit to someone. He has been a player, but he made sure the women knew that he only wanted sex.

As happy for Nash I still could help but watch Nova. She was gorgeous, she talked so animatedly to Ella. It was like she could care less if I was there, and it warmed my heart to see this.
