Ezra’s wolf prowled around, sniffing bushes and staring at trees. I sat with my legs folded in front of me while he eased his rage doing whatever it was he was doing. I think we ran out of Whispering Hollow grounds and ventured into one of Ezra’s tribe Packs.
When Ezra conquered other Packs he liked to take the Packs closest to Whispering Hollow. The Broken Creek Pack had to be one of the furthest Packs. It smelled like a bunch of foreign wolves all over. They were wild tonight, but Ezra wasn’t worried.
He stopped sniffing the bushes and came to butt his head against mine.
