Chapter 53: False Alarm

Immediately the wolf doctor, Francis rush into his study room. By this time, I was already lying on his small bed that's in his study.

He sometimes rest during his short break.

"Please take a look at her, is she okay? What happened?" Ashman questioned Francis impatiently with his eyes holding a pinch of fear.

I was ultimately exhausted and confused. My thought swayed straight to Andrea. Has she poisoned the cake? I know she won't do that so soon. We have been together for three (3) to four (4) days now and even if she wants to hurt me, she won't do it so fast.

I decided not to argue with my thoughts and trust her, even if it has to do with my life.

"Doctor, what is happening to me?" I cried out with a dreadful voice and Francis shook his head before approaching me.

"Lord Ashman, please excuse us." He said before he attempt to touch me wrist, to maybe check my pulse.

Ashman was a bit taken aback by his word.

Obviously he is my husband, is there any need for privacy since we
