I slammed Axel’s room door open without knocking and as soon as he saw me, he left what he was doing and hastily closed the door.

I crossed my arms on my chest with my leg panting on the ground as I looked at him. I didn’t know what was driving me to act this way but I was afraid.

I was scared. It was obvious that the past was about to be replayed and I couldn't help myself.

“What is the meaning of this, Andrea? Do you know you can get us killed if someone spots us? I have managed to fool Lord Ashman and his wife the last time, I won’t do that again.” he warned me as he leaned beside the window staring at me. As usual, he wasn’t happy to see me as he had this grumpy look on his face.

“Why are you here?” he asked after he exhaled deeply.

I sighed pulling my hands apart.

“Why didn’t you tell me the news concerning Ashley?” I asked him and he sighed.

“What does it have to do with you?” he took his seat on the chair around the table.

“What do you mean? I’m Ashley’s maid and I ought
