Lovette POV

Tasha and I ordered a taxi. We were both silent for a while until Tasha talked about how we should try not to draw attention and be careful when we get there.

I tried to keep my nerves at bay, but I couldn’t shake the feeling of dread that had settled in the pit of my stomach.

I know I was determined to go there, but then again, the thought of venturing into such a dangerous place made my skin crawl.

On the other hand, Tasha seemed calm and collected, which was ironic cause she dreaded going there in the first place.

Finally, we arrived at the location. It was a run-down building in a sketchy part of town, and I could feel my heart racing as we approached.

“Are you ready?” Tasha asked, holding my hands, her voice steady.

I took a deep breath and nodded.

We stepped out of the car and made our way to the street. I hesitated as we paid the taxi driver and stepped out onto the sidewalk. I had a sudden change of heart and grabbed onto Tasha’s arm, pulling her close.

Lovette POVI quickly jotted down the directions he had provided over the phone and headed to the warehouse with Tasha by my side. I clutched the piece of paper in my hand tightly as I navigated the roads leading to the warehouse. The warehouse loomed ahead of us, its tall metal walls and boarded-up windows making it look more like a prison than a place of business.“Finally we are at what looks like a warehouse. Are you sure this is the place?” Tasha asked, I nodded. “Yes, he gave me specific directions. He said it’s a large warehouse, and that it’s the only one in this area.”The door was locked as we approached the entrance, but he had told me there would be a key hidden under a rock nearby. Sure enough, I found the key and unlocked the door. The inside of the warehouse was dimly lit and musty. Boxes and crates were stacked high, and cobwebs hung from the ceiling. Tasha and I walked deeper into the warehouse, our footsteps echoing in the vast space.“This is creepy,” Tasha whisper

Gabriel's POVShe had left with her friend and I was driving home with my boys, there was no need to bring them but I couldn't be too sure. I toyed with the device in my hand as I could still trace her scent from it. She was such a strange girl.Lovette. Her name was stuck in my head, I had sniffed her hair so I would be able to recognize in the future, and I'm sure she doesn't want to see me again but it was fun to tease her and I hoped to see her again so I could do it more often.I finally got to my large mansion which was empty, a life I was used to living but I had something to keep me company. And that was the fact that I had transferred her data from her phone to my other phone. She had interesting things on her phone and I couldn't go through them the same day.I locked myself in my expansive room and I took off my clothes one by one, and like my men, I had a few ink here and there but it was nothing extravagant. I crashed to my bed and ruffled my black hair to go snooping thr

Gabriel POVWe all stared at Celeste with our mouths gaped open as she revealed her plan to eliminate the human population. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was such a terrible idea and it’s something I won’t ever be in support of. I have always liked all of Celeste's ideas, but this particular one was just too extreme.“What? Why do you all look like you just saw a ghost?” Celeste asked.“That’s because your idea doesn’t make sense,” Finn said, sighing.“I know you have always been heartless, but I didn’t know it was to the highest level. Derek said“Well, I would go with your idea, it doesn’t seem too bad. Since they plan on taking us out, let’s do it to them first”. He continued.Celeste nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Good," she said. "I'm glad you're on board.""No way, Derek," I interjected. "That's not how we solve problems. We can't just eliminate an entire group of people because they may be a threat to us. There has to be a better solution."Celeste look

Lovette POVTasha had a date with Mike today at a restaurant somewhere in the city. She successfully convinced me to accompany her. Initially, I refused, cause I didn't want to be the third wheel. But she insisted and said I can come along with Ralph, which makes it a double date.I was restricted from leaving the house, so I sneaked out of the house with no one except Ralph knowing I left. He said he was going to meet us at the restaurant later on.As Tasha and I walked into the restaurant arms in arms, Tasha was excited. She told me she had heard great things about the place and was excited to try it out. I couldn't help but feel someone was watching me, I looked back but saw no one.The restaurant was dimly lit and had a cozy atmosphere. Mike was already in the restaurant waiting for us. He was seated at a table near the fireplace and we walked toward him.“You look beautiful, babe,” He said, giving Tasha a peck on both cheeks. She had on a red sleeveless pencil dress and her hair

Ralph’s POVI woke up to see Lovette cuddled beside me. I smiled at her small figure on the bed. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, her chest rising and falling with each breath. I couldn’t help but smile as I looked at her, I slipped out of bed and tiptoed out of the room, not wanting to wake her up.I then went to the kitchen to make breakfast for her. I decided to make pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup. After breakfast was ready, I went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed beside Lovette. I leaned in and whispered her name softly, “Lovette.” She stirred and opened her eyes, smiling up at me.“Good morning,” I said, holding her hands. “I made you breakfast.”She sat up and looked at the tray of pancakes on the bedside table. “Wow, thank you,” she said, her eyes lighting up. She couldn’t stop blushing as she looked at the food. “It looks delicious,” she said. “But I don’t want to eat it alone. Will you join me?”I smiled and replied, “Of course, I would love to join you.

Lovette POVI sat by Ralph’s bedside, tears streaming down my face as I held his hand tightly. “I’m so sorry, Ralph”, I whispered. “This is all my fault. I should have never put you in danger like that. The creature wouldn’t have attacked you if I hadn't been there. You wouldn’t be lying here now, so sick and hurt.”His injury had worsened and showed no sign of healing. I was worried and scared. If I had known this was going to happen I wouldn’t have suggested we went for a walk.Ralph reached out and grabbed my hand. “Don’t blame yourself. It’s not your fault. I knew the risks when I decided to save you. I would do it again in a heartbeat to protect you .”“But you’re getting worse and worse. I can’t stand to see you like this,” I replied, my voice trembling.“I’ll be fine. I just need some time to heal,” Ralph said, but the effort of speaking seemed to take a lot out of him.“That is exactly my fear, you haven’t healed. What’s wrong? You have the ability to heal, so why isn’t it wor

Lovette POVLuna Celeste walked in, her heels clicking to the ground. She sat down next to the Alpha Derek and nodded, acknowledging the presence of those in the room."Lovette here just escaped the hands of a wolf-like creature that almost killed her. If I hadn't gotten there in time she would have been a victim," Gabriel said to Celeste."And by wolf-like creature you mean?" Celeste asked, urging him to expatiate more."It doesn't look like a regular wolf. It was huge and had features that resembled those of a demon.""Oh I see. Was it the same creature you said attacked Ralph?" She turned to ask me"Yes it's the same one."Gabriel looked at me, raising one of his eyebrows. He didn't know about the previous attack.Celeste stood before the group, her eyes scanning each of our faces as she spoke. "Listen, everyone. I know what you're all thinking, that this creature was just an ordinary wolf. But I can assure you, it was not. And that is why it was able to inflict such damage on Ralp

Ralph POVI slowly opened my eyes, feeling groggy and disoriented. My head was pounding and my body ached, but I couldn't remember why. I closed my eyes again, trying to shake the fog from my mind. Suddenly, a dream flooded back to me. I was losing Lovette, my love. She was slipping away from me, no matter how hard I tried to hold on. I shouted her name, my heart racing with fear and panic. But when I opened my eyes again, I realized that it was just a dream. As I lay on the bed, the thought of losing her fills me with a sense of dread and I can't shake it off even though I know it was just a dream. I had been in that room for what felt like an eternity, and I was eager to see what the others were up to.I slowly made my way down the stairs. As I reached the bottom I could hear laughter and conversations coming from the

Lovette’s POVI had noticed that Gabriel was always around Celeste. At first, I brushed it off, thinking that he was just being friendly. But as the days went by, I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something more to it.So, I decided to ask him about it."Hey, Gabriel," I said, leaning over to him. "I've noticed that you're always around Celeste. Is there something going on between you two?"Gabriel didn't give me a direct answer. He just smiled and said, "Why do you ask?"I felt a pang of frustration. I had hoped for a straight answer. But before I could say anything, Ralph came up to me and took me away."Lovette, my love," he said, hugging me. "I've missed you. What were you and Gabriel talking about?"I hesitated for a moment but then decided to tell Ralph what was on my mind. "I was just asking Gabriel about Celeste. He's always around her, and I can't help but wonder if there's something going on between them."“I see. But don't worry about it, babe. I'm sure there'

Gabriel’s POVI was a mess. I couldn't bear to see Celeste like this. I paced back and forth in front of her room, my heart beating frantically in my chest. I couldn't focus on anything else, couldn't think of anything else. Every minute that passed felt like an eternity.Nyx had taken her inside the room to perform some healing on her. And I was waiting patiently for the outcome.Every time I passed by the door, I peeked inside, hoping to see some sign of improvement. But each time, it was the same. Celeste lying there, unmoving, while Nyx attended to her.All I could do was wait and pray. Finally, after what felt like hours, the door opened and Nyx emerged from the room, I practically ran towards her. "How is she? Is she going to be okay?" I asked, my voice shaking with fear and desperation.Nyx looked up at me, and her expression was blank. For a moment, I couldn't read her face, and then she spoke, her voice devoid of emotion. "I'm sorry, Gabriel. Celeste didn't make it. She's gon

Gabriel’s POVI stood at the edge of the clearing, watching my pack as they played and hunted. They moved with grace and precision that spoke to their strength and skill. Lovette’s POVI couldn't believe how quickly the school year had gone by. I had been leading the class, acing every test, and putting in countless hours of studying. But all of that hard work was overshadowed by the fear that had gripped our school. It had started innocently enough. A few students were absent on the first day of school, but we all assumed they were just late enrollees. But as the weeks went on, more and more students went missing. It was as if they had vanished into thin air.At first, I tried not to think too much about it. I had my studies to focus on, after all. But the fear and paranoia that was spreading throughout the school were palpable. I could see it in the eyes of my classmates, in the way they moved through the halls, constantly looking over their shoulders.I tried to rationalize it, to come up with some sort of explanation. Maybe they had all transferred to another school, or maybe they had run away from home. But deep down, I knew something was seriousl

Lovette’s POVThat evening, I spent some time with Connor and Tasha. We all sat in the backyard, under the stars, with music playing softly in the background. It was bittersweet, knowing that I was leaving the next day, but also grateful for the time we had together.Connor had prepared my favorite meal, and we all shared stories and laughed together. I knew that I would miss them dearly. As we settled into the comfortable chairs in the backyard, the warm breeze and soft music creating a peaceful atmosphere, Connor asked me how I felt about resuming senior year in high school.I took a deep breath and hesitated for a moment, not entirely sure how to express the mix of emotions I felt about returning to school. "Honestly, it's a bit overwhelming to think about. I mean, I'm excited to see my friends again and finish what I started, but at the same time, I'm nervous about the workload and the pressure of college applications."Connor nodded thoughtfully, his eyes showing understanding.
