Andrew's POV

Because of Gwen's attack at the farmhouse, I had to book the next flight to Oklahoma.

I knew the attack was intended for me, and she unintentionally fell into the trap. Hating Gwen is one thing but I could not handle the fact that she got hurt because of me.

We arrived in Oklahoma a day after the incident. I quickly wrapped up my meeting with Adrian and established a stronger partnership with him.

“Let me take you home” I said to Gwen after we got off the plane, ignoring the venomous glare Elena was throwing at me. I was doing what any person with a conscience would do.

“Ricky is already waiting for me outside the airport,” Gwen said. I am not sure why, but this statement of hers infuriated me.

Who Gwen hangs out with should be none of my business, and I had to keep reminding myself of what she had done to me before.
