Gwen's POV

I spent the entire night reflecting on what Rickard had said to me earlier that day. I did not want to believe what he said, but everything made perfect sense.

Elena moved in with Andrew immediately after I left the house. It seemed like everything was preplanned. I was still surprised by how quickly he moved on.

He did not give me any chance to explain myself. Perhaps it was because he had gotten what he wanted, his planned work, and was not ready to accept me back into his life.

I had always known Rickard to be cunning, but why would he fabricate such stories? However, it was possible that he was lying. Still unsure of what to do, I was perplexed.

I grabbed my phone and sent Rickard a message, asking him to meet me at the park tomorrow with the man I was with in the picture.

The next day, I got ready and was about to leave the house when Ricky came over.
