Cole opened the door for me as I got into the car, before he shut the door and silently slipped into the driver’s seat.

I stayed quiet for most of the ride, letting myself collect my emotions as the fight with Draco played over and over in my head.

It hadn't gone how I wanted it to go. I had become far too emotional, far too vulnerable.

It’s been four years already… how could he still have a hold on my heart? A heart that I had thought was long dead and buried?

The sound of a phone ringing caught me offguard, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked towards Cole to find him handing me his cell phone.

I took it from him and accepted the call, holding it to my ears instantly. “Hmm.” I answered as discreetly as I could.

“Just answer with ‘yes’ or ‘no’.” Came the familiar voice from the other end of the line. “Did you have a meeting with Leonardo again today?”

“Yes.” I told him truthfully, keeping my voice as low as I could.
