Chapter twenty six

Alex burned in rage. The pictures and voice note resounded in his ears. All he felt was bloodlust and anger. He desperately wanted to grab someone and squeeze their neck so tight that it separates from the body.

But more than anger, he felt betrayed and deceived. That was one thing he hated the most. Betrayal and deceit. No one who has ever betrayed him was spared.

He managed to control himself. He needed to find out the real truth before jumping to a conclusion. The voice note sender must have sent it to make him upset. And make him lose focus. He needed to find out the real truth.

He quickly grabbed his phone and left the office.

"Sir, sir" Diego called after him but he ignored him and went outside. He got to one of his cars parked in the company parking lots. A driver came to him almost immediately.

"Sir, are you going somewhere?" The driver asked.

"The keys," he asked instead ignoring the question.

The driver immediately handed the keys to him and he got in and drove to the gates.
