Xavier was pacing to and fro in anxiety as he waited for Alex to come back from wherever he went. He stood outside the conference room waiting patiently. He groaned when the supposing adults in the conference room were making noises like wild animals.

He couldn't blame them though. They were agitated by the huge turnaround in the company. Even their investors were there. They were demanding an explanation else they'll withdraw their shares and probably sue them. They were literally threatening them.

"Wait till Alex gets back. I'll watch you eat those words back" Xavier had said earlier on when the investors and shareholders threatened to sue the company. But they didn't care about what Alex would do to them.

"Alex, where are you?" Xavier groaned again. The situation worsening by the minute. The media are also outside waiting to devour them in an attempt to seek answers.
