Chapter 12: Nauseus

Scarlett's Point of View

"The mango," he said, his voice dripping with impatience.

I raised an eyebrow, feeling ignorant. "Huh?"

His sneer deepened and remarked with arrogance, "Give me the mango. Are you deaf or what?"

I couldn't help but be amused by his audacity. I held the mango tightly, refusing to surrender it to him. In a swift motion, he grabbed my hand and brought it to his mouth, devouring the fruit.

A rush of heat flushed my cheeks as he teasingly sucked on my finger. Instinctively, I pushed him away, clutching the hand he had touched.

"What... What are you doing? Are you some kind of pervert or what?!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with a mix of shock and indignation.

He ignored my question, his attention already diverted back to his laptop. I stood there, dumbfounded, for a few moments before deciding to let it go and just sleep.
