That night, the moon was the only light. I'm lost in this forest with no one to rely on.

I'm exhausted. My legs were tired and I sat on the wet grass and raised my head.

"Rafeh, where are you now?"

I've been lost since Raf and I got lost this afternoon. I don't even know where I want to go.

It’s been half a day since we broke up. Yeah, when I saw a strange shadow, Rafe decided to check it out.

After that, Rafe never came back. I've been looking for Rafe, but now I'm lost.

"Am I going to sleep here?" I was really sleepy and tired.

But nature doesn’t seem to bring me peace. Fate seemed not to allow it.

I heard some noises coming from the bushes around me and was sure they were no ordinary forest animals.

"Is it a snake again?" I thought of the snake I met when I first entered the forest.

But something even more shocking happened.

"Why is this beast here?"

I saw three wolves. Yeah, I don't think I was wrong about what happened before me.

Wolves are animals that do not exist in tropical c

At first I thought Faghri was just sleeping, but I didn't realize it until I saw the man's slightly injured leg."Is it because he was bitten by a wolf?" I almost opened my eyes and tried to get closer to the unconscious Fagri.I tried to shake Fagri's body, but he was still sleeping, as if this was the deepest sleep he had ever had in his life."Pooh!""Uh, Fagri! Are you awake?"I tried shaking Fagri's body again, and this time there seemed to be some progress.Fagri opened his eyes and looked at me in surprise. Like a man who has temporarily lost his mind."Have I reached heaven?""Seriously!" I scolded the blonde.Faghri used to be a bad boy, but recently his strange behavior has changed. The man tried to sit up, wincing slightly in pain. Faghri seems to have experienced a tough battle with wolves before."What happened? Why are you so open?"I asked, and Faghri seemed thoughtful for a moment as he considered the answer."Lua, you won't believe this. I met a wolf in this tropical

My fortune is also looking up. Assume a fish appeared out of nowhere in the river and I caught it.I learned in high school that fish prefer to rest at night, but I never imagined catching them would be so simple."Looks like you have some talent as a fisherman, too," Faghri remarked half-jokingly, to which I responded with a glare."Let me cook," Faghri suggested."No, let me," I said.Faghri is the son of a wealthy man who has never cooked in his life. I feared that the fish he had caught would be burned.I started looking for twigs to stab the fish with after turning on the portable stove, which was thankfully still alive."Luna, you're really talented," Faghri said, and I simply nodded.Life compelled me to be skilled. Being the child of a bad family forced me to survive in unusual ways."I've been used to a hard life since childhood," I explained, and Faghri nodded in agreement."That's exactly what I was expecting. But I didn't expect such a history from the wife of a wealthy bi

I'm glad I'm no longer alone in this moonlit forest. The sound of the wind blowing through the woods no longer sounded scary. Only the footsteps of the wolves on the mountain made me a little wary..."Luna?" I turned to Faghri, who looked like he had something to say."What's the matter, Faghri?"I think there's something wrong with Faghri's expression now, as if he has something to say, but it's stuck in his throat."Nothing," Faghri said, which annoyed me a little. He looked away for a moment and then said there was nothing there. However, his tone betrayed his confusion. The atmosphere was quiet again, this time only the rustling of leaves and the running of the river could be heard. At least until Faghri suddenly asked again, startling me."How is your relationship with Rafe now?" he asked."Why do you suddenly ask this?""I'm just curious," Faghri replied, but I could tell there was more than just curiosity in his gaze.I also find it hard to describe my relationship with Rafe be

I opened my eyes wide, as if reality had jolted me awake from a deep sleep in the forest. My heart raced as a result of the deafening roar. I looked over at Faghri, who appeared to be awake as well.Faghri was now standing next to me, his eyes wide in the moonlight. He raised his head and listened, trying to figure out what had woken us up."What is it?" I didn't recognize the voice, but it was so loud that it bothered me."A helicopter," Faghri replied, raising his head. On his brow, a small wrinkle appeared. I'm not sure why, but he seemed irritated when he said this."Helicopter? Who?" I asked, surprised, and Faghri turned his face to me."Your husband's," he said almost quietly.I'm not sure why, but I sensed disappointment in his words. His words landed on my mind like raindrops, causing waves of dismay."Raph?" I muttered, puzzled by what was going on.The helicopter's bright lights pierced the darkness, forcing us to duck our heads and shield our eyes from the harsh light. This

Two days have passed since that terible event. I made it through the enticing forest. I was back in the village, at the old lady's house, with a strange feeling staring out into the yard. "I never imagined I'd make it," I told myself. If Rafe hadn't sent the helicopter to search the area, I would have turned into a wolf food in the forest by now. Rafe apologized, saying, "I'm sorry for this incident." Rafe wasn't the only one to blame, I thought as I shook my head. I became disoriented while looking for Rafe, who disappeared out of nowhere among the forest's underbrush before. We both got lost in that forest while looking for the remains of an old werewolf myth. The wolf legend remained unsolved, and it appeared that we would have to restart our exploration from the beginning. An elderly woman, our gracious hostess, entered the room with a steaming pot of soup and interrupted our conversation. "You two, fill up," she said as she greeted them. Maybe this elderly lady was reli

The young girl lay in her bed, her skin like hot coals. I leaned in close to her, feeling the heat radiate from her tiny body. It was even worse this time, dangerously high."Rafe," I worriedly asked, "shouldn't we take her to the hospital?"Except for the girl's soft breathing and the creak of the old wooden floorboards, the room was quiet. Her grandmother stood in the doorway, her face etched with age and worry lines. "No," she said emphatically.I turned to face her, surprised. "However, why?" "She's burning up!"The old lady sighed deeply and tiredly. "This happens all the time. You know, little girls do this."I shook my head, not believing her. "A fever like this is dangerous!"She looked at the child with a mixture of sadness and resignation. "Every time she misses her mum and dad, she gets like this.""What's the solution then?" I was desperate for an answer, so I asked. The elderly woman shrugged helplessly. "I'm not sure. But she usually feels better after visiting the cemet

The path to the cemetery was rough, a winding path of doubt and shadows. Rafe drove, his face a mask of concentration, while little Ani lay still in his arms, her feverish whispers barely audible."This is the way Ani showed me," I murmured as I watched the dense trees pass by.Ani's eyes fluttered open, weak but alert. "Mom... Dad..." she murmured, her voice echoing in the street. As we approached the grave, she experienced a noticeable shift. Her fever seemed to be fading, and her breathing became less laboured. I looked at Rafe, my brow furrowed in perplexity. "Why does coming here help her?"Rafe shrugged, his gaze fixed on the graves. "There are many things in this world we don't understand, Luna."Ani's grandmother, an elderly woman, joined us, her steps slow and measured. "I keep her for six days until she recovers," she explained, her voice sad. "She misses her parents terribly." "All she has left of them are their graves."A wave of sadness washed over me as I heard this. Ani

Morning broke through the thin curtains casting a soft glow on Anne's little feverish face. She looked a little better, but her cheeks were still flushed with the remnants of the fever.Suddenly, the morning peace was disturbed by a series of loud knocks. I froze, my heart pounding as I moved towards the door.I opened it and was stunned to see Faghri standing there, his eyes searching for an answer I didn't know."How did you find me here?" – I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.Faghri shrugged, a hint of a smile appearing on his lips. – I asked around the village. It wasn't difficult.I'm at a loss for words when it comes to this guy. Before I could answer, Rafe emerged from the shadows of the house, his eyes narrowing at the sight of Faghri."What are you doing here?" – he asked in a low and dangerous voice. “I'm looking for a place to stay. Just like you."Faghri met Rafe's gaze. Rafe's jaw tightened.“This is not a guesthouse. You can't stay here."“I've already talked to t

We visited my grandmother's grave and found the place unkempt. As Rafe had mentioned, her grave had remained intact, contradicting my belief that it had been torn down due to the surrounding new construction."Luna, come on," Rafe urged, leading me to the cemetery.I grabbed some tools and started clearing the overgrown grass."Why hasn't this cemetery been torn down?" I asked, aware of the ruthless business tactics often employed these days, where even homes are not spared for the sake of profit."The company that owns the adjacent property is having financial difficulties," Rafe informed me.Then he added, "I plan to buy all that land," leaving me stunned."Thank you," I said, realizing that expressing gratitude had become a habit for me. I truly appreciated all that he had done. After tending to the grave, Rafe and I decided to dine at a nearby restaurant. Its simple charm was refreshing, a reminder of how much I missed such unpretentious places.Having spent the past month indulgi

I never thought it would end. The last few months have been really exhausting for me and I'm glad they're finally over."Luna, what are you going to wear?" Rafe asked as he approached me with a group of people behind him. They seemed to be famous fashion designers."What do you think would look good on me?" I replied, bringing out Rafe's playful side."Anything looks good on you, Luna," he flirted, earning nothing more than a playful flick of my tongue in return. Rafe laughed heartily, his demeanor so different from before. He seemed much more alive and approachable now, almost like a new person."Did you hear about Faghri? He's going to run for president," Rafe announced, taking me completely by surprise. Faghri, once notorious for his ruthless ways, had transformed himself into a respectable figure, and now he was eyeing the presidency."Rafe, you're serious, aren't you?" I asked, looking for confirmation in his expression. He nodded solemnly, confirming the surprising news."I'm se

That morning, the shocking news reverberated across all media platforms, sending waves of disbelief around the world. Television programs, newspapers, and online outlets all carried the same headline: "Assassination at the President's Office: President Etas fatally shot by trusted aide". The uniformity of the reports, which all followed the same chronology, was striking, with not a single source challenging the narrative of President Etas' untimely demise. In stark contrast to this grim news, a more personal story was unfolding in an old but grand home. Here, Rafe and Aline were seen in a tender embrace, their affection evident in front of Rafe's parents. The atmosphere was one of familial warmth and impending change."Rafe, have you decided who you are going to marry?" inquired Rafe's father, a hint of expectation in his voice. Rafe's answer was a nod, followed by a frank admission, "Legally, I am married to Luna. But in matters of the heart, not yet." His words revealed a complicate

The presidential palace was eerily quiet that day, a stark contrast to the tightly secured perimeter outside. Inside, however, the atmosphere in the President's private chamber was anything but calm.Aline's father, the President, was visibly seething with rage. His face was contorted with rage, the veins on his neck were pronounced, and his body tensed as if ready to spring into action. The anger inside him had reached a boiling point."Bastards! I'll kill them all," he roared, the words thick with raw emotion. The tragic death of his daughter Aline had devastated him. Ironically, he had denied her Secret Service protection out of respect for her wishes to engage in something illegal, a decision he now bitterly regretted."I swear, everyone involved will pay," he bellowed, his tone dripping with vehemence. In a fit of desperation, he threw a paper across his desk, his demeanor mirroring that of someone lost in a terrifying episode of unbridled madness. At that moment, there was a ten

On the other side of the picturesque park where love once blossomed, next to a quiet street, Faghri sat alone, lost in thought."It seems I took too long to realize it," he murmured to himself, reflecting on his past mistakes. It was a moment of deep regret for Poria. He lamented that he had not met Luna earlier and thought about a different fate."If I had met Luna earlier, would I have been the one she loved?" Faghri wondered aloud. He sat brooding in solitude, struggling with a fate that seemed inexplicable and unfair."Never mind," he finally sighed, trying to accept what he couldn't change. As tears trickled down his cheeks, Faghri quickly wiped them away, trying to regain his composure.Looking back, he noticed that Luna and Rafe had returned. They seemed to have reconciled and returned to normal. Faghri watched them, a mixture of relief and sadness in his heart."How was it? Luna's voice broke through the tense air, a mixture of fear and relief coloring her tone.Rafe turned, his expression one of disbelief. Her voice, trembling with a cocktail of emotions, scolded him, "What's the point of us surviving all this time if you're just going to throw your life away?"As Rafe looked at her, his eyes changed, darkening with a resurgence of hatred.
